  I made the leap from XP to Windows 7.  Under XP, I could edit metadata in almost any file and place "key words" even with the PDF files.  Windows 7 has done away with "Key words" and went to "tags".  I prefer this system, but what I find it horribly frustrating, is that there are several types of files which I can't add "tags".
  (1) is it possible to add "tags" to PDF (in a way that works with the search for system marking of Windows 7)?
  (2) if not, are there any workaround solution (3rd party downloads - who work in the Windows 7 system of tagging metadata)?
  (3) otherwise, it is something that will be fixed in Windows in the future.
  (4) what is the reason for the types of files such as PDF, txt, MP3 with no no not the capabilities of 'tag '?

  PDF and Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended 9.3.1 shell tools worked for me fine... the only issues I have found so far is that I can't add categories and comments... I can change the interface of Windows 7 only the following (which are enough for me): title, author, subject and keywords for Windows 7 keywprds real estate PDF. You can take a look here...

• Windows Mail and .pdf and .pps files

  I do not use Windows Mail, but some of my friends do it, and they seem to all be affected by the same problem.  When they get an attachment, .pdf and .pps, they cannot open the since the e-mail itself.  They must register under the attachment to a folder and it open it.  It of an inherent problem with Windows Mail, anyone?  Is there any solution for this?  Another reason why I use Mozilla Thunderbird.  Thank you

  For images, there are several ways to get these to your iDevice.

  On a Mac with iTunes and pictures/iPhoto app, the jpeg images should be placed in the library of Photos/iPhotos and with your iDevice connected to sync from the computer to iTunes, under the section Photos to iTunes, you would need to check and synchronize these images to be moved/copied to your iDevice.

  These images appear in the Photos of iOS app.

  It is in no way, I think, to do the same thing with iTunes on the PC that the PC has no app like Photos or iPhoto.

  Another way to copy images on the iPad is to search the apps that transfer of the images via WiFi or Bluetooth, install the application on your iDevice and possibly a companion app for your computer (or the image transfer application is accessible by WIFi or Bluetooth via web browser of your computer) If you can transfer images from anywhere on your computer to your iDevice by transferring wireless in both directions between your computer and your iDevice.

  Images that are transferred to your iDevice light directly to the Photos of iOS on your iDevice app.

  I use an image transfer software called picture transfer application to do this. There are others who make a similar function in the iOS App Store.

• Masking of PDF and other files on USB

  I'm deploying a number of large-scale aggregation Captivate 4 on a USB for my clients.

  They want to see that the project aggregated, file published in the directory - something called early article I or Start Section II.  They are confused when they see all the file names.   (They do not speak English as a first language...)

  Projects of reference lots of PDF documents and there are also files-8-10 chapters that make up the group project.

  My understanding is that I have to copy all of the PDF files (and all the chapters of Captivate) in the same directory as the publication, aggreagated Captivate files.  Is there a way I can actually have them in another directory?

  (I tried to use the Dos command hide, but my clients do not appreciate the grey files that appear if they have defined properties to show the files hidden file manager).

  Any ideas?

  (I saw an answer for Authorware, but I don't think that this was relevant for Captivate 4.)

  I have the pdf part of this work now. Make a jsx which generates the PDF file via the doc. Save(). And when the pdf file is generated the script then shut down of FrameMaker via the application. Close method.

  I then just copy the script in FrameMaker autorun dir and start FrameMaker to get the pdf genenerated.

  Now, I'm trying to do something with the chm filegeneration. But I can't find anything on how to get FrameMaker to make the extend script CHM files. Is there anyone who have some good places to look for that?

• QuickLook in PDF and JPG broken

  My OSX completely patched 10.11.3 system simply ceased to display previews of PDF and JPG files in the Finder.  Instead of the expected picture, all you see is the ASCII representation of code files.  In addition, Finder was hung a lot, who need to leave me it manually.  Previews of other types of files such as Word documents are very well.

  I rebooted in safe mode with the same result.  I cleaned the cache, repaired permissions, deleted the files in finder preferences and quicklook in each folder preferences (I used the terminal to make sure).  I see no errors in the console complain of bac sand and quicklook (see below) and it seems that spotlight also has problems.

  If I click on the "Open in Preview" button on the quicklook window then I don't see the exact content of the file.

  How can I fix?

• Printing a Web page to a .pdf or .xps file generates a file but it is empty. How can I fix it? I have Firefox 40.0 on a new computer laptop for Windows 10

  When I print a Web page to a .pdf or .xps file, it creates a new file, but file Explorer says it's 0 KB in size. These .pdf files will open, but they are white - the only thing that appears is the outline of a page, without anything in the outline. When I print an .xps file, File Explorer shows that it contains 0 KB. When I try to open it, I get a message saying that the XPS Viewer cannot open the file. These things just started for me a few days after I installed Firefox 40.0 on a new computer laptop of Toshiba Satellite with 10 Home Windows operating system. I have the latest version of Flash Player (in fact, I just tried redownloading and reinstalling the current version; that does not solve the problem). I tried to change the format by default to print to .pdf file, but that has not solved the problem. I contacted the chat Windows support site; They told me that it was not a Windows problem. Is this a Firefox problem? If so, you can tell me how to solve the problem, please?

  First of all, try to disable the extensions to see if that helps this, then try safe mode.
