  • PDF maker for DC does not not in word 2016

My tab for pdf maker (acrobat) disappeared from the word 2016 some time.

I can go into the add-ins tab and I can see the add-in as an application is inactive and I can go to the add-in and tick as being available for use, the acrobat tab appeared then. I can use it to create a pdf file. However, as soon as I close Microsoft word and re - open, the acrobat tab disappears again, and I have to start the process. If however I open word as admin, it seems.

I deleted DC and reinstalled. I deleted the desktop and reinstalled. I checked online to help but nothing appears.

  • Create PDFs in Word 2013 gives, the error "Server Acrobat PDF Maker could not be loaded"

Cannot create/save a PDF in Word because of the error.

Acrobat PDF Maker Server could not be loaded

You want to run the installer in repair mode?

I tried following the instructions to run the installer in repair mode, but it did not help.

It's Office 2010 installed locally. I'm not a PC so I can't check the exact version of Acrobat, except to say that it is a newly installed domain controller Acrobat.

However, we have solved the problem to our satisfaction.

The problem was with conversion/recording with the builtin pdf Converter in Word Help.

Conversion using the addin Acrobat worked.

  • PDF Maker will not run in Office 2016

Creator PDF will not run in Office 2016 with Adobe Acrobat DC. Die Adobe? Office 2016 has been out for months and months.

    Hi John Hurst,

Currently, Acrobat DC is fully compatible with Office 2013. About compatibility with Office 2016, our engineering team work and it should be included in future updates (quarterly updates) of Acrobat DC and not another version.

The link for find compatible applications of PDF Maker is Compatible browsers and applications of PDFMaker

In addition, as a workaround, you can use PDF in Office 2016 printer or open the document directly in Adobe Acrobat DC to convert the document to PDF format.

After you have installed Windows 10, I can no longer create a PDF of my program Pagemaker 7.0.1. Purchased Acrobat DC, but still no joy. Apparently, Acrobat PDF maker does not recognize the .pmd extension. I get errors and various suggestions, but nothing works. WHAT?

Print to Adobe PDF? Why the * & ^ * & ^ V_ $ didn't pay a lot more money to Adobe for an Adobe program that does not work with another Adobe program? Oh, right--they want to move me up (buy) the new Adobe graphics programs. I'll keep sweating this point and will no doubt wind up forking over a thousand$ $$ or so for 'new' stuff I don't need.

  • PDF maker toolbar inactive in 2013 office

Have you installed the updates? They are forced to work with Office 2013 which was released after AA XI.

  • Loss of PDF maker

My ACROBAT X Pro program suddenly lost the ability to make the PDF to word files.  He can still do the PDF of tiff files.  It says no makers PDF - no corrected with the mode of repair or reinstall the program.  Any advice?

Normally, a repair and updates (you did them?) will do the job. However, which version of WORD you use. Office 2010 required at least AA 10.1 as I remember and 2013 Office requires AA XI. In addition, what operating system are you using. The operating system or office has changed recently?

You can have the add-on PDF Maker disabled in WORD. The add-on must be enabled or it won't work. A check on this would be to see if you can open WORD and use PDF Maker from the Acrobat menu item in WORD. If there is any Acrobat menu bar, then apparently PDF Maker is not enabled.

  • PDF Maker crashing WORD

I ask a question for a change and have not been able to find the research seek answers past. In any case, I have a WORD (269 pages and 23 MB) file on which I tried to use PDF Maker in WORD 2007 (and 2010). First of all, by using all the variations of the AA (8 and higher) that I have since 2007, the Adobe PDF printer has worked well. However, only AA8 worked for the file with WORD 2007. With 2007 and AA9.52 and the most recent AA and WORD 2010, WORD hangs when page 62 is reached. My student has the same problem. I cut out pages around p. 62 to a new PDF and the crash now appears on p. 3 (I did to be sure it wasn't a matter of file size, although I was always empty the TEMP folder).

Apparently, something in the DOC (not DOCX) file is causing a problem. Any suggestions to search?

In the meantime, I'll try to remove portions to see if I can find the problem. However, after a while, WORD PDF Maker in the location of the bad guys and I have that fish out of the to reactivate. Yes, I know I'm finally on the wrong side of the problem rather than trying to offer solutions. I think I'll be able to track it down as to the cause, but thought someone would have an idea to speed up the process, because I can't find a solution (showing me he would be nice too). At least we can use the printer and if it is not a do or die situation.

I traced the problem down to a bitmap image. When I tried to cut the bitmap image, I got a message in Irfanview (graphics software) that the image can not be converted. When I chose edit drawing, I was able to clip the off and the document bitmap image. Then PDF Maker has been used without problem after this copy process. The question is really trying to go up down to the police (in this case an image) or a bad image, copy and then reinsert the image. Was then able to apply PDF Maker.

  • PDF Maker does not work after loading Office 10

I've read other messages of the forum on this issue and none of the solutions worked.

Office 10 doesn't have a normal.dot file to rename or delete.

I applied the patches to register unsuccessfully

I uninstalled Acrobat 8 and installed Acrobat 9.

I checked the updates of Acrobat 9and loaded those as well.

The Acrobat tab appears in the office applications, but nothing happens when I select Create a PDF file or one of the other selections except preferences in Acrobat.

When I select Preferences it blocks of Word.  Word then restarts itself and said that there is a serious problem with Acrobat AddIn, I need to check updates and I would turn off.  The same goes for Excel as well.

I tried to place C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\PDFMaker\Common\ as a reliable source, but my security settings did not allow.

The add-in is in the Active AddIn section and does not appear in the disabled AddIn section.

I really like this feature.  A resolution would be greatly appreciated.

With OFFICE 2010 and AA8 AA9, you can print to the printer Adobe PDF and nothing more. For compatibility with OFFICE 2010 to PDF Maker, you must use X AA. In addition, if you are on a 64-bit computer, you may need to use the 32-bit version of OFFICE. I don't know if the last X AA is still compatible with the 64-bit version.

After the upgrade of MICROSOFT Office 2007 to 2010, I noticed that PDF Maker is missing from the Office Ribbon.

I tried Repairing & reinstall ADOBE Acrobat 9.0 (+ Update 9.3.2) but still the same problem.

    Another try:

Charge installation of Windows XP SP3 + Office 2010 Pro + Acrobat 9.0 + update Acrobat 9.2.0 Acrobat Update 9.3.2

    Same problem

COM Addin is active but PDF Maker component is missing in the Ribbon of Office 2010.

I tried the walkthrough in the 330984 (KB) article, but without success.

... is so Acrobat PDF Maker Addin is compatible with Office 2010 Pro (Word, Excel,...)?

Is there a fix or should I wait for the next update to ADOBE?

  • Cannot restore PDF Maker and Add-in for MS Word 2007

    Hello

I have Acrobat 9 Pro installed as part of CS4 Design Premium Win Vista + MS Office 2007 environment.

When this has been done, menu "Acrobat" showed on tape of MS Word but it had gone and replaced by ScanSoft PDF create 4 Add to the menu, which was delivered with an OCR program.

Unfortunately, the PDF files produced by this version of PDF Create is not compatible with Auto field detection of Acrobat 9 to create PDF forms to fill out, so I uninstalled PDF Create and run install Acrobat in repair mode several times but the "Acrobat" menu don't be retored on MS Word and I still get

"Missing PDF Maker files Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?"

error message every time I try to convert *.docx file PDF from Explorer by using the shortcut menu.

    How can I rectify this?

I'm using the CS4 Design Premium subscription version.
