I have a new computer and try opening PDFs from other web sites. They are not open. What should I do to open these files?

Thank you for your help, but I thought about it.  It was very simple & silly, something I would have thought from the outset. I had to add permissions to the pop-up blocker. Silly me had a "blonde moment"... no offense to blondes, just using the cliché. Laughing out loud!!

  • Create a PDF from a Web Site secure only gets the Login Page

I am trying to capture a part of a web site secure PDF, but when I start the conversion only gets to login page THAT PDF would be. I have full access.  I see other web site secure questions here, but not this one.

    Hello

This is because Acrobat doesn't have a login. If you need to create a specific secure web page PDF file, you can open it in the browser and then convert via Acrobat plug-in software component.

It is not possible to convert from Acrobat itself secure sites.

    Thank you

  • Cannot open PDF files on Web sites, or when it is attached to the email!

    Hello
My computer is running Vista and I had this problem for the last 2 years! I can only receive the PDF sent by one of the companies I work for. I can't open most PDF files sent by attachment or all the files on Web sites. I have Adobe 9 and Foxit Reader and it does not work with either. I tried to re - install Adobe and still no luck. With Foxit Reader that I can manage to open the PDF files sent from the company I mentioned earlier, but that's all. I would really appreciate some help... Thank you very much! :) x

Try this: uninstall all the software that you have to display the PDF documents. Then try to open a PDF file. You should receive a message that "Windows cannot open this file". If you get the message that the file is "corrupt" or "not supported" means that you have another program or display of PDF files.
Once you receive a message that "Windows cannot open this file" download and install the latest version of Adobe Reader (9.3).

  • Print a PDF of a Web site; not accurate

I created a website using GoDaddy webbuilder. Web site design requires that I cost pdf patterns for doll on site clothes. When I print the pattern on the site, the file does not load using Adobe Acrobat, but instead, there is a bar at the top of the tile that says "nebulas.wsimg.com", then a group of numbers, the problem is that there is a slight difference of 1/4 "on the line 3" of a model. When I print using Adobe Acrobat Reader, the file is correct. Told me of GoDaddy, that we issue is not here and that the "nebula" is a web version of Adobe. I face doll clothing patterns, but I'm sure that there are other places were accuracy is essential. Can anyone help? That seems out of GoDaddy control the the customer service representative that I spoke to.

Yes, but it seems to default to this "nebulae". "thing when I click on it. GoDaddy said that it is not something they control.

Nebulae is something to do with the storage of your files to godaddy. It's under their control. If they said otherwise, you can thank the support of godaddy for this shit.

So, what browser you use. Above, you said "Chrome" which, I guess you mean Chrome? Chrome is not and can not use plugin adobe reader to view pdf files. Many browser use their own viewers for pdf files now so it is a common problem.

Best thing to do is, right click on the link to the pdf file of the Web page, choose Save to your computer, open the drive, then use file > open to open it. It is the only way to be sure you are using Adobe Reader to view and print.

  • PDF on the Web site

I created a PDF (8 pages) and I want to download on my site for people to interact with.  They can return from one page to another. Something similar to what is presented on the link below. I want to keep them on the Web site and have an optional download link.

    www.Issuu.com

    Thank you.

How a PDF file is displayed in the Viewer is the Viewer settings. When they come to your page and you open a PDF file, it can do one of several things: create open in the browser, open in Acrobat, download as pdf, etc. These options depend on the user and parameters independent of what we, as web designers, can control.

You can watch in "Page turn effect PDF" to achieve a similar effect in a page, but in all honesty, they are more annoying to viewers than useful, especially on mobile devices with limited data plans.

Create a link to the PDF as if it were just another page in the site, this is what you really need to do to make it available to your viewers. If they click on it, it will appear on their device in any way that they put him in place to appear.

  • How to create a PDF from a Web site with a java table?

The table has three drop-down lists, which all lead to different tables on the Web site. I need a PDF of a lot of tables, combined or individually. Currently, the only way it works is to convert the page in PDF format after manually changing the drop-down list. I tried to go through Acrobat and creation of Web page for a page multilevel, but who comes to the menus overlap and still doesn't give me all the pieces I wanted.

You can not convert the JS from a web page code to code that works in a PDF document

file. They are simply too different.

Right-click on the link to the pdf file, save it on your computer, open it from the inside Reader using file > open.

  • I can force PDF on my Web site to be opened with Acrobat Reader, rather than the pdf plugin?

My Web site contains PDF files, recently, one of the PDF files won't open unless you disable the pdf viewer plugin. I can't wait for the users of the site to do this so I was wondering if there is some way I can force a PDF to open with Acrobat Reader?

    Is not possible.

  • Chrome does not recognize my creative cloud installed and active acrobat. I'm trying to download a PDF file from Web sites and to get the message that I must first launch acrobat and sign the user agreement, but acrobat is already underway.

    Hello

I recently tried to switch my browser to Chrome of Safari, which I never use and I'm pretty happy with Chrome overall I had to go because I can't recognize my installation of Adobe Acrobat.

He always tries to open them in the preview of a PDF from the web and then if I try to export it as a pdf after sitting and wait a long time for it "thinks" I get error that I need to launch adobe acrobat and accept the user agreement.

    But acrobat already running!

    Any ideas?

If you are on a Mac, I've read that Google has recently changed to Chrome so that it cannot use Adobe PDF plug-ins. These have been not supported for many years in all cases. I suggest you to use Safari when you need PDF files (but noted that the Mavericks Apple stopped using Adobe plug-ins, however in this case, there IS a solution).

  • Where can I download my PDFs to the Web site in order to read the mobile version?

    There are:
    MicroSoft OneDrive
    Adobe Creative Cloud
    Amazon Cloud
    Apple ICloud
    DropBox

  • How to edit and save a pdf within a Web site

I have several users that is 200 users on my site and I want to be an editable pdf, what I want each user to edit online and save the information. I can access and modify pdf online in the site, but it does not save the information which user enters. What should I do to save the information, that all user types? Also, do I need to configure separate pdf for each user, I think Yes, but how do I configure pdf for each user?

The only other web sites that can do are SharePiont sites and even in this case the PDF file is checked, downloaded to your system and open in Acrobat, where you can modify the PDF and then save it to the SharePoint Server.
