  1. First make a backup copy of
  2. Next go to save as another
  3. Choose optimized PDF
  4. Then when the window opens click the tab fonts
  5. Delete all the duplicate font styles (example if you have 5 copies of Helvetica Bold delete f our copies.)
  6. Then choose the Images tab
  7. Now reduce the quality of the graphics at no 250 DPI except black and white not higher than 100 dpi

  Now click OK and then save the file under a new name.

  If what that will be used to make the quality of the business meeting so do not this, using a Cloud service and send a link to the people.

  If your planning to use online or send in email this will be enough.

  If you have the Acrobat software, please follow the steps below to reduce the size of pdf file:

  -Launch Adobe Acrobat.

  -Click the menu "file > open" to browse your computer and open a PDF file.

  -Choose "Reduce file size" under the "File" menu Select a compatibility option (for example, "Acrobat 5.0 or later"), then click on 'OK '. The window "save under" opens.

  -Type a name for the new file, and then click "Save". Note If you select the same filename as the original, you must confirm the replacement of the existing file by clicking 'Yes'.

  If you want to view what elements in your file pdf is causing the increase in file size and adjust accordingly, you can go to "file > save as > optimized PDF.

  A new 'Optimize PDF' window will appear. Here on the upper right corner, you will see a button that says 'space use of verification '.

  When you click it, you will notice a window showing the memeory used by various elements of the PDF viz Images, stream content, graphic Extendded etc alongwith size and the percentage of occupation in the pdf file.

  You can then adjust the pdf accordingly in the PDF Optimizer window.

  There is no such limit on the size of the PDF file. This mainly depends on the file system used on the machine and the operating system.

  Maximum FAT32 file size is 4 GB. The cluster size is 4 KB up to an 8 GB partition. Beyond 8 GB, the cluster size up to 32 KB. NTFS, that's what almost everyone should use on their hard drives today. Its maximum volume size is 2 ^ ^ 64-1 and its maximum file size is 16 × 1024 ^ ^ 6 bytes (much more than the largest hard drive available today). Cluster size is 4 KB, regardless of the size of the volume.

  Hello world. After all an hour and a half to carefully search the web, see other suggestions that do not work for me, or try going online, I am now officially angry, especially since I consider myself a somewhat computer savvy person.

  Ok... So I try to download the transcript of my friends on a job application site. The transcript file size is 242 KB. For some reason, the file upload on the website max size is 200 KB, which is ridiculous, I think, but that's what I have to work with. There are 4 pages in the .pdf file. I can do without one or two of the pages, but I've tried everything. There is no option under Document... extract pages or whatever it is. I tried 'print' using a writer document and save only a couple of pages, but then the quality comes out horrible. I tried 'Print screen' and then save it in paint and all that but that does not well either. Now, I say this because of the help I think I'm about to break something!

  How can I get the size of this file to the bottom? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I use windows 7 64-bit and Adobe reader X.

  I'm trying to create a PDF from InDesign, and what are the options that I select, the file remains the same size. I tried to export to interactive PDF to each preset resolution and all levels of compression. I also release the same PDF Print file. No matter what I do, the size is the same. 4.4 mb.   One thing that would prevent much compression would be if you had a lot of intensive vector or CAD (usually of the Illustrator files) drawings placed.
