• When you use one of the themes Aero Windows 7 (x 32), PDF files appear semi-transparent.

  This symptom occur because a 64-bit process that is running on a computer that is running an x 64 version of Windows cannot load the 32 bit files .dll required by some features of the program.

  Try the following work around:

  You must use the 32-bit version of Windows Explorer. The 32-bit version of Windows Explorer is located in the folder %windir%\Syswow64 on the computer that is running an x 64 version of Windows.

  To use the 32-bit version of Windows Explorer, follow these steps:

  Click Start, click run, type the following in the Open box, and then click OK:

  DriveLetter : \windows\syswow64\explorer.exe/separate

  Note The drive letter placeholder represents the drive where the x 64 version of Windows is installed.

  You can try the following steps:
  Thumbnail view of PDF via Acrobat reader:
  1. run Acrobat Reader. In the player, click file > Open and navigate to one or several folders containing your PDF files. If necessary, move the cursor to display all your PDF files.
  2. leave Open and exit the player.
  3. open Windows Explorer and navigate to your PDF files (s) records.
  4. click on displays and move the slider until you see miniature.

• My Adobe PDF form appears blank

  My Adobe PDF form is sent as an attachment to e-mail. With the earlier version in IOS IPhone when I opened the PDF via Adobe Acrobat form would show all of the populated fields.

  With the new update, the form displayed in white... the fields appear not Populated unless I have the highlighted cell.  Once the cell is closed, the cell it turns off again.

  FYI on a Windows PC or Mac laptop to the PDF is filled.   It seems to be a problem of IOS. How can I change or difficulty to form be completely visible on the IPhone?

  First of all, I opened your PDF form in the version of Acrobat Reader DC Office on a Mac computer.  The populated fields seemed empty as well.

  The Document Properties dialog box (file > properties...) shows that the PDF form was generated by Mac OS X 10.11.1. Quartz PDFContext.

  

  PDF forms generated by the Apple products or filled in Apple Preview (desktop application) contain invalid entries that cause fields populated to appear empty.

  To repair the existing defective PDF form

  • Open the PDF form in Acrobat Reader (mobile app or desktop), click on / tap each field populated, add space and remove the space.  (This fixes an individual field).
  • Open the PDF form in Acrobat Professional or Standard (desktop app paid), delete all the text fields, then fill out the form again.

  In the future, it is recommended

  • Avoid using Apple Preview (desktop application) on a Mac computer to fill in PDF Forms.
  • Use Acrobat Reader app for iOS or Android to fill PDF Forms.
  • Use the desktop version of Acrobat Reader DC on a Mac or Windows computer to fill PDF Forms.

  I have created a form in InDesign CC (latest version on a Mac under El Capitan). I export the form in PDF format. There are some interactive tooltips (with suggestions on how to fill in each particular field) implemented as buttons. The control keys are static. When I click on the trigger, the bubble appears, when I click on the bubble, it disappears. The problem is that even if the bubbles are set up on the top layer in InDesign, in many cases they appear behind the text layer.

  Is there a script that I can add to each individual bubble that says "when this bubble is active, move it to the top layer?

  This project took over 3 weeks of troubleshooting. In the end I came up with my own results. The answer was "no, it isn't a script."

  With the help of the Adobe customer service, we found that because in the InDesign file, I had the pop-ups on a different layer than the triggers, it was causing a problem of overlap. I found myself by combining the layers into a single, moving pop ups to the elements high on the page in the layers palette.

  Then I exported (interactive) PDF from InDesign and in the PDF file, in edit mode, in the fields Panel, I've selected all the pop-ups and offers them to at the bottom of each page [z-index property]. A lot of manual labor, but in the end, I got most of the results I wanted.

  Recently Adobe Reader started showing some .pdf files as just a shaded page without error message. Finally, I learned that all the .pdf files that were created with a scanner are completed.   Pages in a PDF document have a physical size such as 8.5 "x 11". When you add pages that are a different size, they keep this size when adding. There is not a feature in Acrobat that dimensionnera pages upwards or downwards for a specific size.

I have my preferences on the Illustrator as a CMYK plate and the appearance of Black's 'Rich Black' and it looks like on illustrator but the minute I save it to PDF and open it, the black appears gray.   -The text does appear quite in FoxIt Reader, Nitro Pro 9, Nitro Reader 9

  -In addition, if the user tries to open, to modify fields, record, none of the changes stick

  It seems that any reader/PDF Editor that supports editing of form field does not display text, but who does not display the text just fine (Mozilla, SumatraPDF).   The reason is that the form is reset when the document is opened. I could be to blame for this, I promoted this technique long ago before the player was able to save a completed form. It was useful for online forms so that historical data would not fill in the fields if the form had been reopened. For a number of reasons, is no longer a good reason to do so.

  To work around the problem, you can temporarily disable JavaScript and form don't get reset when it is open. You can also remove the script in the opening event of the Page the first page if you wish.

  The reason why you see different behavior with different viewers is because some of them support the JavaScript that is used and others do not.

  Right-click on the file and select 'Open with' > the program choose by default.
