PDF tables appear badly

My PDF version gives me problems. In the stylesheet, I've defined a border of 1px around all cells. It prints and fine views, but in the PDF version that does not appear the top border of the table. Also, I have 3 columns away from vertical lines from the top on a 1/6 ", but the last one (outside the border) goes all the way to the top. All my 300 tables do so. Anyone see happen it before? Any suggestions? Text

The fix was to add the code:

border-collapse: separate;

at each table.

  • When you use one of the themes Aero Windows 7 (x 32), PDF files appear semi-transparent.

I can't read PDF files in my Firefox browser more. It seems that if they are semi-transparent: the fonts are blurry, and they have the same color as my theme Aero frame. I can see my photo office by police. When I save the PDF, and then open them offline, they are displayed as they should. The prints also appear normal. BTW, when I change to a classic theme, PDFs appear normal.

  • Thumbnails PDF not appearing is not in the records

I just loaded Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Records only show thumbnails for jpg files and no PDF files. In the past, when I had Vista 32-bit, vignettes appeared for PDF files. Show all settings are correct. Hidden files, boxes of file extensions, etc. Box to always display thumbnails and icons.
I disabled users and the security of all accounts, but is what I get for a PDF icon Adobe Reader 9.2. It will not display a thumbnail. In the same folder, all jpg files appear. I really miss this feature working in XP and Vista 32 bit. What is going on??

    Hi Ben9000,

Welcome to the Microsoft answers site!

This symptom occur because a 64-bit process that is running on a computer that is running an x 64 version of Windows cannot load the 32 bit files .dll required by some features of the program.

    Try the following work around:

You must use the 32-bit version of Windows Explorer. The 32-bit version of Windows Explorer is located in the folder %windir%\Syswow64 on the computer that is running an x 64 version of Windows.

To use the 32-bit version of Windows Explorer, follow these steps:

Click Start, click run, type the following in the Open box, and then click OK:

    DriveLetter : \windows\syswow64\explorer.exe/separate

Note The drive letter placeholder represents the drive where the x 64 version of Windows is installed.

    For more information:

Some Windows Explorer extensions and some control panel items are not displayed on computers that are running an x 64 version of Windows

Now, check if the problem is resolved.

You can try the following steps:
Thumbnail view of PDF via Acrobat reader:
    1. run Acrobat Reader. In the player, click file > Open and navigate to one or several folders containing your PDF files. If necessary, move the cursor to display all your PDF files.
    2. leave Open and exit the player.
    3. open Windows Explorer and navigate to your PDF files (s) records.
    4. click on displays and move the slider until you see miniature.

Thank you, and in what concerns:

  • My Adobe PDF form appears blank

My Adobe PDF form is sent as an attachment to e-mail. With the earlier version in IOS IPhone when I opened the PDF via Adobe Acrobat form would show all of the populated fields.

With the new update, the form displayed in white... the fields appear not Populated unless I have the highlighted cell.  Once the cell is closed, the cell it turns off again.

FYI on a Windows PC or Mac laptop to the PDF is filled.   It seems to be a problem of IOS. How can I change or difficulty to form be completely visible on the IPhone?

    Hello

We have received your PDF form by e-mail.  Thank you!

First of all, I opened your PDF form in the version of Acrobat Reader DC Office on a Mac computer.  The populated fields seemed empty as well.

The Document Properties dialog box (file > properties...) shows that the PDF form was generated by Mac OS X 10.11.1. Quartz PDFContext.

PDF forms generated by the Apple products or filled in Apple Preview (desktop application) contain invalid entries that cause fields populated to appear empty.

To repair the existing defective PDF form

    • Open the PDF form in Acrobat Reader (mobile app or desktop), click on / tap each field populated, add space and remove the space.  (This fixes an individual field).
    • Open the PDF form in Acrobat Professional or Standard (desktop app paid), delete all the text fields, then fill out the form again.

In the future, it is recommended

    • Avoid using Apple Preview (desktop application) on a Mac computer to fill in PDF Forms.
    • Use Acrobat Reader app for iOS or Android to fill PDF Forms.
    • Use the desktop version of Acrobat Reader DC on a Mac or Windows computer to fill PDF Forms.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

  • Interactive PDF layers appear behind the text. A script can move them to the top layer?

I have created a form in InDesign CC (latest version on a Mac under El Capitan). I export the form in PDF format. There are some interactive tooltips (with suggestions on how to fill in each particular field) implemented as buttons. The control keys are static. When I click on the trigger, the bubble appears, when I click on the bubble, it disappears. The problem is that even if the bubbles are set up on the top layer in InDesign, in many cases they appear behind the text layer.

Is there a script that I can add to each individual bubble that says "when this bubble is active, move it to the top layer?

This project took over 3 weeks of troubleshooting. In the end I came up with my own results. The answer was "no, it isn't a script."

With the help of the Adobe customer service, we found that because in the InDesign file, I had the pop-ups on a different layer than the triggers, it was causing a problem of overlap. I found myself by combining the layers into a single, moving pop ups to the elements high on the page in the layers palette.

Then I exported (interactive) PDF from InDesign and in the PDF file, in edit mode, in the fields Panel, I've selected all the pop-ups and offers them to at the bottom of each page [z-index property]. A lot of manual labor, but in the end, I got most of the results I wanted.

  • scanned pdf files appear highlighted

Recently Adobe Reader started showing some .pdf files as just a shaded page without error message. Finally, I learned that all the .pdf files that were created with a scanner are completed. I have the latest version (2015.010.20060). I suspect that the problem started when I upgraded to this version. The used scanner does not appear to matter.

I have a pdf file that is a lot of pages. I'm attaching to add pages in the file, but no matter how many more files are that I add, they appear much narrower and shorter than the pages that exist already. I want the new files I add to match the rest of the files in the document.

Pages in a PDF document have a physical size such as 8.5 "x 11". When you add pages that are a different size, they keep this size when adding. There is not a feature in Acrobat that dimensionnera pages upwards or downwards for a specific size.

  • Saving adobe illustrator to PDF changes appearance of black.

I tried to save a poster that I do for centuries in Illustrator to PDF on my PC. I have my preferences on the Illustrator as a CMYK plate and the appearance of Black's 'Rich Black' and it looks like on illustrator but the minute I save it to PDF and open it, the black appears gray. At this point, I'm desperate because my deadline is tomorrow. I don't know why this does not work, because I have not had this problem before with Adobe. It is a particular problem because my border black (appearing gray) is in conflict with the rich black of a jpeg image that I want to merge with the border. I do not understand the question, after trying several different parameters.

Appearance of Black has no effect on the creation of PDF files.

Use a black CMYK mix that corresponds to your JPEG

But do not too 'rich', to avoid problems in the press.

  • Text PDF format appears not, cannot save changes

I tried to understand how being saved text format appears when you open a PDF form.

I did a lot of troubleshooting and here is what I have so far.

PDF - form has been created in Adobe InDesign CS6 (Mac)

-The text appears in SumatraPDF, Mozilla's PDF reader

-The text is visible for half a second then disappears when opening in Adobe Reader 11 and cannot be seen (even when the cell is clicked, as others have pointed out)

-Same thing happens in Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Standard except that it is rather the second 1/8

-The text does appear quite in FoxIt Reader, Nitro Pro 9, Nitro Reader 9

-In addition, if the user tries to open, to modify fields, record, none of the changes stick

It seems that any reader/PDF Editor that supports editing of form field does not display text, but who does not display the text just fine (Mozilla, SumatraPDF). I tried to add the ".js file" for fixing forms Adobe Acrobat and Reader, but it makes no changes. I am troubleshooting for an end-user who must be able to open, edit and save these PDF files. No indication as to what is happening here would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

The reason is that the form is reset when the document is opened. I could be to blame for this, I promoted this technique long ago before the player was able to save a completed form. It was useful for online forms so that historical data would not fill in the fields if the form had been reopened. For a number of reasons, is no longer a good reason to do so.

To work around the problem, you can temporarily disable JavaScript and form don't get reset when it is open. You can also remove the script in the opening event of the Page the first page if you wish.

The reason why you see different behavior with different viewers is because some of them support the JavaScript that is used and others do not.

  • When I convert a word document to PDF, it appears like a firefox html document

Recently, I rebooted my acrobat pro and since then when I convert a word to PDF file, it shows itself as a firefox html file.  Why?

    Hi Chief grunt.

It seems that the ownership of pdf is picked up by Firefox.
Right-click on the file and select 'Open with' > the program choose by default.

"In the list of programs that appear, select Adobe Acrobat and click on ' apply > Ok"

You can also check the setting in Acrobat > edit > Preferences > General > Defalult Manager pdf

    Kind regards

  • copy of PDF tables in excel

I am trying to copy a table from a pdf file into excel.  My first problem seems to be that the selection tools does not consistently work.  Sometimes he selects text from the PDF at other times, he actually select the table I pointed out.  If it does not select the table, it will allow me to copy, but when I go to paste into excel, it will only allow me to stick with formatting, then I have to go into excel and reformat where I pasted.  In my previous version of Acrobat, you can select the selection tool you want, text, or a table.  Her you could paste in excel without any problem.  I tried to look in the preferences box, but can't find anything to help me here.  On a wire for Acrobat 7 or 8 they referenced definition of clipboard preferences, which I can't find in Acrobat 10.  Really, I do not have the icon of unlableled and wanted to there was an easy way to use this software.

I assume that AAX has always the same option for tables. You can select a column, or with the alt key is that you make the selection (or perhaps the SHIFT key). Allowing a selection window. As far as being able to get the data in a column compatible format depends much on the structure of the PDF file. If the tags are present which provide information on the structure of EXCEL, then he must copy in EXCEL very well. If the tags were not created with the PDF file, you could get just a block that fits into a single cell or something similar. In general, it is usually easier to ask the sender to the PDF just send you the EXCEL file.
