PDF Viewer is not expanding

After the upgrade to 1.4 my PDF Viewer will not develop.  When I do the "two finger swipe" I get the small circle, which confirms that it is reading the gesgter, but it will not grow.  Her do this with the same PDF files that I have been able to open before the upgrade.  Also does not work with a MS Word document.

I have the Palm Pre (sprint)

Windows 7 (but the files were sent from someone else)

If you mean the pinch to zoom? You can now double tap on the screen to zoom in on different levels.

  • There are many versions I [changed an option] so that PDF files does not open in Firefox. v 42.0, now I have no pdf viewer by default/built-in at all.

I don't know how long it was, but I decided that I didn't want to use the pdf viewer by default in Firefox at the time, and because things have been very slow in the browser, I disabled the default viewer and set options to ensure that all PDF files that are open outside of the browser and directly in Adobe. I have no memory of what I've done to get there in time.

Now for c. 42.0 (and 41.0.2, front) when I go to Options > Applications and select one of the "Adobe Acrobat Document" s, my only options are always "ask," "Save the file", or «Use other...» "and there is certainly no option of Firefox Viewer in 'another use. »

With Adobe Reader latest terms and the fact that they can now push updates when they want, I just * never * use again.

How to bring back the integrated pdf viewer? I realize there are other pdf viewers and I'm picking through those, but I would still have a browser too.

Oh, hang on, I missed something. When you go into Options > Application, the content type that you want to change is Portable Document Format (PDF) , which is the standard type application/pdf. (The others being obscure guys like Marlon who are not your problem). Does it work?

  • The "Send form" button does not work in Chrome or Safari PDF viewer

I have created a PDF file and have included a button 'Submit' at the bottom of the page. When all required fields are completed, hit Submit attached the document in an e-mail message to us. The only problem is that this 'submit' function only works when you view the document in Adobe Reader.

Given that the form located on our Web site, when the link is clicked it opens upwards by default in Safari or Chrome PDF Viewer for the browser (etc.). Unfortunately, the 'Submit' function does not work in the browser view. The fields are to be filled, but the Send button does not work.

    Suggestions?

These browsers display PDF files using their own internal PDF plugin. You should report bugs with these plugins to their creators.

It has nothing to do with Adobe.

  • BlackBerry Playbook + Android = Adobe Content Viewer plays not latest generation (PDF chimneys)

    Hello

My client wants to create a digital publication on the iPad, Tablet Android and Blackberry Playbook.

I have install the last FOLIO producer (FolioProducerTools-CS55-1-9 - 1.zip) and the FOLIO Panel (FolioPanel-CS55 - 12_1_3.zip) in Adobe CS 5.5 (PC) and I created a folio tests (with piles of PDF including multimedia elements (video + HTML 5)

When I opened the folio via Adobe Content Viewer on iPad (with my Acrobat account), everything is OK.

But do the same on the blackberry Playbook (last updated 2 OS) with Adobe Content Viewer 2.1.1 I can't download the FOLIO. I get an error message telling me to update the application.

On Android version (2.4.1.0.43718) I can download the Folio, but impossible to start. I get an error message telling me batteries PDF are not supported.

If I go through the process of creating an application, I'll be able to use the last producer + Panel to create AN application that I can publish on the Appstore, Android Market and store Playbook? If not, should what version I expect?

What will be the content viewer Adobe happen on Android and Adobe Playbook to support the latest versions of folio?

If I have to RETURN my Indesign with the previous version of the producer + Panle, what are the real producer + Panel to install to support each platform? And I must have more than one PC to create environments of development for each platform?

    Thank you

The BlackBerry PlayBook is no longer supported. Publishers did not show enough interest in creating applications for the platform to justify development and testing resources.

If you want that your app in Android Market, you probably want it to appear in the Amazon Appstore as well.

On Android, with articles PDF folios are not supported. Use a different image format. The viewer of the Android Market is up to date. We are still waiting on Apple and Amazon to approve.

I don't know if you wonder if you can create a single application for each platform, or a unique folio for each platform. Apple uses the .ipa and Android/Amazon use .apk format. You need to create and submit separate viewer applications. Use the viewer generator to create applications.

  • BlackBerry smartphones require a PDF Viewer - how to get the premium version of the ToGo apps when I did not have a TELUS data plan

    Hey all the...

Is it possible to download and install a premium version of the ToGo apps (or just the PDF viewer component - I searched this term and found a relevant thread in which sdgardne had referred to the award-winning apps ToGo) on my device from an executable installation in the Windows environment?

Or at least get the file required on the device via Windows?

    Thank you, FFF

    Hello

Well, one way of course would be to pay for the level of bonus ToGo apps... you ask for 'premium' service, and it is rarely free. You can read about the methods here:

If your BB is sufficient to accept a 7 OS version, then that includes the complete Premium ToGo apps. You have to do a few tricks to install it, because you don't have a data plan, but it can be done. I suspect, however, that your BB is too old for OS 7, so that leaves the method "you pay for it."

It can be many other paid apps to do what you want... you should, of course, the search options and make the choice that best fits your needs.

    Good luck!

  • Why firefox built-in PDF Viewer makes windows 10 crashes

I have a computer with Windows 10. For about two to three months from now, from time to time, my computer/windows crashes when I open or save a PDF in Firefox, which is extremely upsetting.
I just found out a few days ago that Firefox no longer uses the adobe reader plugin, but uses rather its own PDF Viewer built-in. When I changed the setting to use the external adobe reader software to open / download the pdf files, it seems that my computer no longer crashes.
So my questions are: why the bult - in the PDF Viewer gives windows crash 10? Will be corrected this problem and when? and finally, why Firefox forces to use its own built-in PDF Viewer when it cannot work properly with windows 10?
This was the most overwhelming problem that I had with my computer for a long time!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • Unable to set the paper size at all when using Firefox built-in PDF Viewer

I use the built-in Firefox pdf viewer and it's fab.

But if I try to print, I go to the preview before print and go through the layout and it is useless, because it assumes that my book is almost SQUARE, and the only options I have are portrait and landscape. I use A4 paper, like most of the British and European.

Of course, I can't work around the preview before printing or that it ends up in the wrong settings by default.

Adjust (default), it is only based on the width (if I set the margins to zero - it's okay), but lacks the lower half of the page because Firefox think my paper is the PLACE for a reason any.

The only thing that works is to set the zoom to print at 60% and have tiny everthing, which is ridiculous.

Any ideas? Is it possible to manually set the width and height of the paper?

Thanks if anyone can help with this - my alternative is to use the Toshiba reader of PDF files, and it prints terribly to be unreadable. The print quality on Firefox is fine, if I could get to fit on paper...

Hmm, in your screenshots, why mention the title bar of the window Yahoo mail? Is it an attachment that is somehow embedded in the message? If so, can you find a way to see it in its own tab? Sometimes with the right button > setting > Open Frame in a new tab will do, but I did not open Yahoo Mail to experiment.

  • PDF renders do not correctly in 38 FF

Because I installed 37 FF, PDFs of my website make wrong (picture jerky), using the native PDF Viewer.

There is no such a problem in IE or Chrome. Version 37.0.2 does not solve the problem.

As my viewers are really public (can do not know how to install the different plugin), I might just suggest using NOT FF on my site, if it is not fixed soon!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • built in Viewer does not

I was looking at a PDF in the viewer built for months... Since yesterday, it asks me to download the pdf
I tried everything I can find online, I have all of the options display in the built in acrobat alone Viewer or firefox
have you stopped to support this?

By default, Firefox uses its own pdf viewer. Support for that is not finished.

I'm not a Mac user myself.
I don't know if the plugin like

    • ""Documents of PDF to view within your web browser. ".

Is in fact an additional plugin can be installed.

I hope that these two articles will help you resolve the issue.

  • 29 Firefox is no longer prints correctly of the construction in the PDF Viewer

I print multiple labels of EBAY one day. Just updated to firefox 29 (not realizing really what has changed - now regretting) and the built in PDF viewer is no longer prints correctly. It shows well the label on the screen, but when you send to the printer (I tried two more different) it prints just the pages of two thugs. I tried a number of different print settings, and as I mentioned two different printers. Unable to get anything to print now except two blank pages. If I change the app settings in firefox to use an outside party 3rd PDF Viewer (e.g. Adobe reader 11, PDF Viewer, etc.) who work very well. However, the default built in PDF Viewer broke clear in this new version. A very disappointing start for me since it is an essential feature for my use. Yes, I have a work around, but the point (and a new bug) are still valid.

Firefox 29.0.1 has been published, which contains a fix for this issue - an update is recommended for all those affected: Firefox update to the latest version

  • How can I get PDF listed in 'Options' > 'applications '? I want to stop the FF pdf reader and use the Tracker pdf viewer.

I use FF 21.0 Desktop ruinning Windows 7-64.

I want to stop FF pdf viewer and use my Tracker pdf viewer, as I did before the addition of FF look a pdf.
I tried to go into options > applications, but it is not listed for pdf display line other than a single line for Tracker.
I think I need a line that mentions PDFs in the left column, then a list in the right column, allowing me to use the Tracker (if all goes well as a plugin).

I am lost at this point and would like to have the older FF with no look at pdf, built in.

    Help please.

Files should always be downloaded if you want to open.

Some are saved in the cache disk (Flash for example) and others in the temp folder (those passed to other external programs and plugins).
