PDF with portrait and Landscape Orientation act differently between pages

Hello

I have problem when I try to have an orientation landscape in a PDF document with another page in portrait.

All I want to do is have a small page that shows the instructions on the form because it is a generator of form, once the form is created by the user, the landscape page becomes hidden.

My problem here is that when I put a masterpage in landscape mode it makes it different to switch between pages.

I see more than 1 page at a time, just as it cannot show a landscape and portrait together on the screen.

I have another form of landscape and portrait together and it works fine, but this form is not normal... There must be something that I am missing...

It's annoying that I can't have more than one page on the screen, once I hit the bottom or top of the page it will automatically switch to the other page.

Please help me on this, I'm trying to figure out what is the cause of this bug...

Hello

I didn't use the form builder, but you still have a view state, try adding the following line in the form docReady event

event.target.viewState = {pageViewLayoutMode:2};

This has the same effect as setting to activate the scrollbars on the view... Menu page display.

A value of 1 would give you unique page view.

  • Pages portrait and landscape in the same document ID?

I use InDesign CS4 and am certainly not an expert user.  This may sound strange, but I have a need to produce a document that contains both portrait and landscape oriented pages but I'd rather turn the page 90 ° to the right rather than rotate the content of 90 ° to the left so that I'm not craning my neck while working on the content. Is this possible?  If so, how?  Thank you in advance for assistance.

In the pages Panel, choose the rotation of the spread of the display in the Panel menu.

    Hello.

I'm working on the version of the tablet of a Web site and I would like to create different layouts; a version for landscape view; Another view of the portrait. • Portrait and landscape mode in Epub

    Hey!

When I export from Indesign to .epub with a fixed layout - is it possible to use it in portrait and landscape mode on an Ipad or Iphone? Stays of mine in the landscape.

Yes, you can change the orientation on FL EPUB. Of course you will find yourself with empty space if you change from landscape to portrait, because your formatting will change, not just the orientation.

  • How to convert a file FrameMaker containing pages Portrait and landscape in PDF?

I recently converted to 9 FrameMaker and Acrobat 9. In the FrameMaker manual created by me, most of the pages have portrait orientation, but some have landscape orientation. However, when I convert the manual as a PDF using Acrobat Distiller, pages in landscape becomes Portrait. It wasn't a problem when I converted the PDF manual in earlier versions of Acrobat Distiller, he showed up after I installed Acrobat 9. In other words, the FrameMaker file has worked before. I also tried this on three different computers to make sure that the computer is not the problem. Does anyone have ideas that I could try to do this job?

Jorunn, never solved this problem? If this isn't the case, I have a solution for you.

In FrameMaker, select the book you want to create a PDF file, click file > print and select Adobe PDF as the printer.

Click Properties and make sure you have the selections you want.

Back on the Print Setup dialog box, leave the paper and Orientation as a letter and Portrait respectively.

The print dialogue box book, select print to file and navigate to the correct location. Be sure to save as a PostScript (name.ps) file and the safe field book both, you want only selected file.

Once again on the print dialogue box book, click on the checkbox to generate data Adobe and click Configuration of PDF. On the PDF configuration for the selected files dialog box, PDF job options, select print quality or make the choice for your situation for settings, Favorites, Tags, and links.

With Adobe Distiller open, file > open and find the .ps file you previously reported. Also check that your default settings for the PDF file are correct. When the Distiller is finished, you can double-click the PDF to open it and check your landscape and portrait pages display correctly.

  • Combine the orientation portrait and landscape

Hi, my requirement is to build a rapport with the first 3 pages in portrait orientation, the fourth page in landscape orientation and the fifth page with orientation portrait again.
    Is this possible?
    Thank you.

Use 3 different sections: header - hand - end.
You can set the orientation section.

  • Urgent: Is it possible to have portrait and landscape page in PDF format

    Hello

I have a requirement to indicate the first page of output pdf in Portrait format and the rest of the pages in format landscape. Is it possible to do in microsoft word.

    Yes you can.
Insert a section at the end of the first page break.
On the second page of landscape, choose layout, then select "apply to" like "this section".

  • Horizontal definition in the page from Portrait to landscape orientation.

    "Adobe Acrobat XI.

I have a PDF file with pages 11 x 17-inch in the middle of several standards of 8.5 x 11 pages portrait in landscape mode. When copy paste form fields, the 8.5 x 11 pages in the same PDF file, it auto turn fields on 11 x 17 pages assuming that they are on the side of resources, when in fact they are not.  Even things like organize fields horizontally/vertically are reversed on the 11 x 17 pages.

I tried turning & retrieval and their don't change separately or no effect.

I have more than 100 items and fields on each page.  Resizing, repositioning, and adjust the settings for each field are too tedious.  There must be there to adjust settings so that pages in landscape as horizontal 6 & 7 of my PDF read.

How to adjust the setting while she reads the pages 11 x 17 landscape as horizontal?  If horizontal cannot be resolved then how prevents fields to turn when I have in front of them?

What I propose is not usually recommended. I would on the copies. If you have bookmarks and others on 11 X 17 pages, they will be lost. Try first on only one of the 11 X 17 pages.

    1. print this page for a new PDF (don't forget he has the correct orientation in the printing process and do not turn after the fact).

    2. use replace pages to insert the new page in the original location.

Who can solve the problem. For some reason, Acrobat retains the original orientation info and seems to link the form fields to this orientation. This extra step can redefine the orientation for you, but I'm not sure. The worth a try anyway, and it might give you a solution to your problem.

  • Need a script for resizing images of Portrait and landscape without having to first sort

OK I downloaded this great script: Image Processor Pro to create multiple batches in a single shot.

    http://blogs.Adobe.com/jkost/2015/06/image-processor-Pro-for-Photoshop-CC-2015.html

It's great, but I still have to run a tiny drop to resize the files exactly 374 x 498 and 276 x 385, after I cut them it will be "worthy", but this was not accurate.

    Here is my method:

I have original TIFF that I have edited, original images is usually square. (sometimes they are not, and I wish I had a solution for that as well, but one thing at a time)

Since these TIFF I execute the script to save to 4 different folders:

Resize to 2000 x 2000 and rename to add sizing file name

Resize to 500 x 500 and rename to add sizing file name

Trim & resize to 374 x 498 and rename to add sizing file name

Trim & resize to 276 x 385 and rename to add sizing file name

    Here's what it looks like:

    Screenshot2000x2000Script.JPG

    ScreenshotTrimScript.JPG

Here's what it looks like once I launch my image processor:

    FinalResult.JPG

and here is an example of the files in the folder XS with dimensions:

    XS.JPG

Which is great! But now I have to go to sort my pictures SM and XS of landscape & Portrait and THEN run another drop on them to get them to fit exactly 374 x 498 and 276 x 385.

SO please tell me there is a better way! I'm almost there!

If the version of Photoshop supports done condition and the condition is a conditional action as you can get without learing scripting. The problem, actions must be in the same action game and the game cannot be renamed.  Here action must be used after Image processor makes pro then the image resizing made tho conditional actions can add the canvas so that the document of the exact size.
