Pe11 complains about the inconsistent display HD 3000 driver since the upgrade to Windows 10
Hello
I am running PE11 on a laptop Dell Inspiron N5110 with integrated graphic HD3000 and Nvidia GT525M graphics card. Pe11 is configured to use the integrated graphics (it doesn't seem to work at all with the GT525M).
Pe11 run fine under Windows 7, but since the upgrade to Windows 10 I get this message when I start PE11:
I can not find BadDrivers.txt anywhere on my system (despite the display of hidden files). So, how can I resolve this you problem?
Best regards
David
Where did you get the BadDriver.txt file?
You will certainly find it in the C/ProgramData/Adobe/Premiere elements/11.0
But make sure that you first install the latest Intel Graphics Driver of

Question about the upgrade of Windows 8 to 8.1
Hello, I have a laptop Asus G46VW supplied with Windows 8 is installed, he showed some software problems related lately I decided to format it, one of my problems was that I couldn't go to 8.1 of the store, so I think to initiate an ISO 8.1 in a flash and fresh installation 8.1 formatted hard disk drive , my question is: If the Activation Code for 8/8.1 is in the BIOS if I start a new 8.1 installation on my laptop it will read it and activate 8.1 correctly or I have to format the laptop on 8 and upgrade them to 8.1 via the shop, because it would be pretty boring.
Hello
Before you do anything, remember to create any media which is available from the manufacturer of the computer...
Just in case.
You shouldn't need to format anything... If you use recovery options of the manufacturer or discs, which will take care of everything... It will overwrite all the old stuff...
You have to do a lot of updates before moving on to Win 8.1...
Just KB2871389, or even KB2917499... All others will be included in the update...

Hello comrades,.
I have a few questions and concerns, and hope that you guys can share with me some lights here.
1. What is MS stop supports the Covenant of service about the update of windows Vista 2 / other online support?
2. my computer is vista based 32 bit, ultimate version. I heard that there are a lot of wonderful things about Windows 8. Should I move to Windows 8, or should I actually wait awhile then buy a new computer with Windows 8 64 bit attached?
Honestly, it's a question that has been bothering me for some time. But my laptop is 4 GB of RAM, 1920 x 1080 HD display, 300 GB HARD drive at 5400 RPM (cost me a lot - it's a SONY) and have been works very well even with vista, the operating system highly complainted by many others. I think it would be a waste to buy a new computer, including the so-called net-books and i - PAD, I know, they are beautiful and sexy, but looking at their record, I was speechless. Yet knowing 32bits was maximum and MS has already announced that they stopped support for Vista SP1, consider that SP2 is expected online.
3. how long do you 32-bit based can last? Should I increase the RAM of 4 GB to 6 GB and upgrade to Windows 8?
4. How about 64-bit based of the future? Or is it true that most of the computer manufacturing starts in the future these application device of the base (not the real computer-driven software)?
5. or should I forget it all, wait 3-4 years, until my laptop would be a museum piece, then buy a desktop computer which monitor and hard drive is all separated, knowing it is the best technique for the $s and phone for mobile computing laptop use there?
I understand that this is somewhat a personal decision, but I really appreciate you guys Preview on the path of the operating system! Thank you
Yes it will work to buy a copy upgrade of Windows 8. This is a custom installation rather than an upgrade in place once you switch between 32-bit and 64-bit. However you can still save money by buying the upgrade license.
More important is that all the drivers you need will be available. Your computer manufacturer will not write drivers for Windows 8 because the computer has been out of production far too long.
Windows 8 is a significant departure from previous versions and I suggest that you upgrade to Windows 7 If you are tired of Vista or wait until you buy a new computer before Windows 8. You read the discussions on the forums of Windows 8 CP. At this point, there are many critics of Windows 8 due to the removal of the Start button and Start Menu. Many people dislike having to rely on style Metro Screen start for many things. It is becoming a major concern.
To navigate to the Windows 8 CP forums use in the middle of the dropdown at the top of this forum page.
Note: Microsoft has not announced that there will be copies upgrade for Windows 8. Microsoft has already stopped providing copies of upgrade of Office is not yet clear what will be available for 8.

A few questions about the upgrade on Satellite A300-144
Sorry for the typos, English is not my mother tongue.
I want to ask some questions about the upgrade of a300-144.* Some info first.*
CPU: T2370 ([http://ark.intel.com/products/34445/Intel-Pentium-Processor-T2370-1M-Cache-1_73-GHz-533-MHz-FSB]).
Chipset: GM965 ([http://ark.intel.com/products/29821/Intel-82GM965-Graphics-and-Memory-Controller]).* Questions.*
1. my frequency of laptop memory at 533 MHz, supports 667 MHz memory controller, memory modules can work at 667 MHz. Is - this because CPU FSB 533 MHz frequency and new processor at 667/800 MHz FSB will fix it or it is hardcoded in the BIOS?
2 Intel said that the size of max memory for my chipset is 4 GB (2 x 2 GB), but Toshiba says that only 2 GB (2 x 1 GB), who is right?
3 I know, taken of my CPU is μFCPGA-478 aka socket P, max FSB 800 MHz, max 35 W TDP, so T9500 ([http://ark.intel.com/products/33918/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-T9500-6M-Cache-2_60-GHz-800-MHz-FSB]) is a compatible processor or there are some limitations in the BIOS?
The speed of the memory is related on the material. This means that the FSB is responsible for the limitation.
If the FSB would allow support 667 MHz then the memory would also at this speed.> 2. Intel says that the size of max memory for my chipset is 4 GB (2 x 2 GB), but Toshiba says that only 2 GB (2 x 1 GB), who is right?
The memory depends on the chipset. So if the chipset supports 4 GB of RAM, you should be capable of this move to 4 GB of RAM> 3. I know, my CPU is? FC-PGA-478 aka socket P, max FSB 800 MHz, max 35 W TDP, so T9500 (http://ark.intel.com/products/33918/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-T9500-6M-Cache-2_60-GHz-800-MHz-FSB) will be a compatible processor or there are some limitations in the BIOS?
It might be possible that the new processor would be fully supported by the BIOS, but in most cases it should not be a problem if the chipset would support the new processor.
But as far as I know the upgrade of the CPU is not supported by Toshiba or any other manufacturers of portable and its your own risk to run laptop with the new processor. -
original title: video editing
When im trying to add a family film about the Director of windows it is not not all there, he's going for about 20 seconds, then on the next image. How can I see the video in its entirety, but long, so I can change it to what I want?
What is the extension of the home movie file?
Windows Movie Maker doesn't accept the formats of files (extensions) following:
Video files: ".asf", ".avi", ".dvr-ms", ".m1v", ".mp2", ".mp2v", ".mpe", ".mpeg", ".mpg", ".mpv2", '.wm' and '.wmv '.
* Extennsion file or the file format is represented by the last 3 letters of the file.
If the file format of your home theater is not on the list above, google for a FREE video converter and a change in WMV format. Then re - import to Movie maker.
WMV is the most reliable and foolproof format for Windows.

Since the upgrade to Windows 10 and Creative Cloude 2015 (about the same day...), my pen (Intuos 5 Touch) is so much trolling and does more work with it. I downloaded the latest drivers. What should do? Thank you, Dany
Hi Dan,.
Please ensure that your Pen drivers are up-to-date. (check the manufacturer's Web site)
Also, what exact version of Photoshop and Lightroom are you using?
Search for graphics card drivers update as well.

Hello
After the upgrade to Windows 8.1 the OEM of Windows 8 my machine on the ground to stop. I looked at some common problems, but there are just to many to test when my machine is so slow. Right click takes about 10 minutes to display the menu to give you an idea.
To make things worse, I tried to do a reset of the HP recovery but it kept also, failing a lesson well learned to create additional recovery CD!
In any case, I have a copy of Windows 7 but HP does not support this OS on this system, I searched this forum but can't find anything particular about my model number and drivers Windows 7.
A point in the right direction for Windows 7 drivers for this system would be a great help or advice for me to use the machine on the 8.1
See you soon
Hello:
Your model is pretty easy to install W7 x 64 on.
If you let me know which model of laptop wireless card is came with, I'll post the link to this driver too.
I don't think the drivers wireless since the page g7z-2100 driver will work.
Here are links to most of the drivers you need:
First of all, download and install the AMD chipset driver and restart. To install the smbus and usb3 controllers.
http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/chipset?OS=Windows 7-64
You can then use all the other W7 x 64 drivers and software the g7z-2100 on the link below (except maybe the wireless).

HP Stream 13: Beware of the upgrade to Windows 10
I have just told me that in Hp Support the HP 13 Stream is not recommended for the upgrade to Windows 10 due to the lack of space and memory for this new operating system.
I thought it would be interesting as well as alarming to soemwhat.
This occurred after I contacted them for help and a solution to a failed update of the ' Intel dynamic and thermal Framework Client Driver SP 72416. As a result, I did a sfc and dism scan to check the status of the file system and the final result are reports of corrupted files and source files could not be found.
I should add that at the moment windows 10 works very well on my stream and a recent update of Windows loaded and installed ok. I currently 11.5 GB of free space on the C drive.
HP support recommend reinstalling windows 8.1 provided to ensure a workbook entirely for the present and the future, because they anticipate the future updates and developments with Windows 10 is likely to produce more problems with the stream.
Now this threw me after all the recommendations pushes and apparent and challenges for the upgrade of this small notebook with 10 Windows. I'll hold fire for now with other changes, while I go over what to do next.
Someone at - it something to add?

Process held during the upgrade to Windows 7 windows.old files
In the months I have updated Windows Vista to Windows 7. Unpon update I found the C: drive was almost filled to capacity and had established that about 155 GB of files are now in a folder called windows.old when I saw the C: drive with explore. I was able to recover some of the files in subfolders: Documents and Favorites and hoped to return to garner extra of the content I rmembered I could use if migrated on space available. Subsequently, the files: Windows and Windows.old were more visible. It would be nice to collect a little more elements of the 'old' files, but of equal importance would be the prospect of eliminating the overhead of the files ~ 155GB now unusable. (1) how I see these files? (2) how can I erase what I don't want when I see it? (3) is there a risk to just delete the program files that are stored in the Windows.old folder?

My laptop camera image on the upside after the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
I have a laptop Asus G50Vt - X 1, which is a 64-bit computer. It had Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit installed on it and the unit worked properly with him. I ran the update of Windows 7 Advisory on this matter and he said I could upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit. After the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit the images from the camera are all upside. I contacted Asus about the problem and they sent me the drivers updated, but the images are still upside down. Pourrait Windows 7 cause this problem as I know that it worked fine under Vista?
I also noticed that my dvd/cd player and external hard drives don't stop the execution after that I have quit an application. When this happens, I can't eject the cd or remove the drive from the computer.
Windows Update has nothing to do with the upgrade of Windows. Post future questions in one of these forums, please: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7install/threads

You want to buy a copy of the upgrade to windows 7.
You want to upgrade my windows XP computer to windows 7.
I found the link that I can buy.
Question: this outfit sells copy of the upgrade to windows 7? (Don't want to get cheated and lose my money.)
http://www.softdirectworld.com/Microsoft-Windows-7-Home-Premium-1-PC-license-32-64bit/
Thank you very much for your help.
I don't think not that it's likely that you will get a definitive answer, but here are a few things to think about.
Microsoft has stopped the sale at retail of Windows 7 on October 31, 2013. Which does not prevent a retailer to sell copies of Windows 7 that were acquired from Microsoft before that date. Microsoft is continuing to sell Windows 7 to run the OEM for pre-installation on their computers. See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/lifecycle
It is not at all what you will get for your $55. You can just get a license key (which, according to the FAQ on several occasions either real, authentic, etc..). "How to install" page on this site refers to downloading a file ISO "from the Microsoft store." She said, however, that you can 'use the ISO file downloaded from us'. Then maybe you'll get a link to download an ISO of softdirectworld... and perhaps that you won't. Microsoft Windows 7 ISO official files are available to Digital River... but they have in the past disappeared for a while. As of today, the links are active. See http://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/14-windows-7-direct-download-links
More troubling is the response of the FAQ that says:
Q: why are the keys so little expensive compared to buying in a retail or online store?
A: purchase us volume keys and pass the savings to our customers. In a retail store, you buy a copy of the software and packaging that you already own.
It is not at all clear what "volume keys" which talks about response. Microsoft has indeed a volume license program, but as far as I KNOW, it is not intended to be used for retail sales. Microsoft says (emphasis added):
In simple terms, software volume licensing makes it easier and more affordable to run the software on multiple computers in an organization.
My guess - and I stress that it is just a guess - is that you get access to download a ISO legitimate Windows 7 with a genuine authentic Microsoft volume license key. This would be valid and allow activation and updates... until Microsoft decides that selling VLK as this constitutes a violation of the volume license key and blacklists the or the key. Happens soon, later or never.
Trying to decide what to do, don't forget that there are essentially no more commercial versions of Windows 7 for sale. Versions that you see on websites like Amazon are mostly versions of "OEM System Builder", which Microsoft says can not be used for its own computer (a "system builder" has sell systems he built).
