  VP1 or PS is a good thing to start.
  I assume that you have already run the wizard database using Data Mover in bootstrap mode.
  After you have created your database of ELM, examine the PSOPRDEFN table
  Select * from PSOPRDEFN;

  All PeopleSoft user account are defined in this table and the password is equal to the id of the operator when installing.
  Just see if VP1 or PS resides in this table.

  As we already mentioned, you can manage the 3.5 hosts with vCenter 4.0, but also you can same VMotion VMs between 3.5 and 4.0 hosts. So you can switch to 4.0 without service interruption.

  1. switch vCenter 4.0

  2 migrate all virtual machines on a host, put it in maintenance mode.

  3 upgrade host with Update manager

  4 goto 2 until all hosts are upgraded.

  Hello world.

  I am trying to find the name of the database and the column of database in which enterprise manager uses to store its data. For example, when I go to the tab "Instances" of a composite to the EM I can find one instance in various ways. I guess that search queries a database for results.

  Is anyone know the table name and database to retrieve composite instant ID, name, start time, etc. ?

  I found it in the table COMPOSITE_INSTANCE of the SOAINFRA schema.

  I think you mix a few things:

  1. as of the OEMGC 10 g, you use a browser to connect to the console. So, with the exception of a browser, you need additional software.
  Presentation of Enterprise Manager components:
  Oracle Enterprise Manager includes the Agent Management, Management Service (OMS) and repository management, as well as the console control Grid, which is a central console based on the browser through which administrators can perform all monitoring, administration and configuration tasks for the company.

  2. I think you mean that the client software. This can be found here:
  http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/Enterprise-Edition/downloads/index.html
  Open the link _ see allbehind the Oracle version and the operating system you want. For example: you can find for Windows 32 11 g
  Oracle Database 11 g Release 1 (11.1.0.7.0) Client for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (32-bit). The zip file is about 500 MB in size.
  But the client software is not required for the grid control.

  2A - if you need instant customer database (not OEMGC) you can find it on the right side of the link I mentioned in 2 - under more downloads (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/features/instant-client/index-097480.html) database.

  You probably mean the Java console? Not included in 11g, you will never find it. Even in 10g, it had not been improved since version 9i and it has been deprecated.

• Enterprise License Manager to 8.6?

  Is it possible to install a stand-alone copy of ELM for the sole purpose of monitoring the use of the licenses in a UC 8.6 environment?  Meaning, No 9.X anywhere (at least for a few months)?

  What would prevent this scenario work properly?

  As stated above, it is the equivalent of ELM in version earlier than 9.0. They can use users tool CPU to see how translation would be made when moving from DLU base licenses to SOAR, but that's all.

  ELM expires isn't a license, it is there for license CUCM and UCXN and by itself does nothing so not need to license it.

  You will need to add personalization to the class details page that is read-only and editable class details page.

  There are two items that you will need to show:

  • Column default: additional information
  • Flex: (EventsDescriptiveFlex)

  The specific names of Document are:

  • / Oracle/Apps/OTA/admin/Event/WebUI/ViewEventPG
  • / Oracle/Apps/OTA/admin/Event/WebUI/EventMaintainPG

  I have configured the database (No Grid Control) control to send the SNMP alert in our monitoring system.
  I've added notification rules by target (Instance, Cluster, database, host, ASM, listener). For each notification rule, I've added metrics and specified by the SNMP method.
  
  Now, tested the alert SNMP for Tablespace space used (%), have created a tablespace small data file and fill it with data, as you can see below.
  The problem is that the tablespace alert does not appear in the surveillance system where a previous test, I did stop the watch database the database to the bottom of the alert on the monitoring system. How can I solve the problem?

  Install the platform of database, and you then install the database of the system of PeopleTools. Then, install the PeopleTools local client to access the App Designer.

  As a starting point, you should just learn the toolset and worry for specific applications. All modules are built using the Toolbox. You will need to configure a PIA environment before learning App Engine yet this can happen without specific modules.
