Oracle Enterprise Data Manager
Hello world.
I am trying to find the name of the database and the column of database in which enterprise manager uses to store its data. For example, when I go to the tab "Instances" of a composite to the EM I can find one instance in various ways. I guess that search queries a database for results.
Is anyone know the table name and database to retrieve composite instant ID, name, start time, etc. ?
I found it in the table COMPOSITE_INSTANCE of the SOAINFRA schema.

Oracle meter Data Management (MDM V2.0.1)
I try to simply send data to a component of measurement I place in MDM. the XML file are retrieved by the application of MDM in a queue JMS (Q) However, I see no indication that data has been correctly formatted or were given went. It appears in the user interface for the measuring element or in the d1_init_msrmt_data table. There is no TODOs is created. It of as if MDM retrieves the message from the JMS Q then put it in a black hole somewhere. However, if I remove items or change the ID of the unit of measure for a non-existent ID (which means ID a measure of the component that does not exist in the table D1_MEASR_COMP) then I get an error.
What I am doing wrong?

Installed firefox 31 and now I can't seem to our oracle enterprise manager URL 12 c
Hello
Monday, I've upgraded to Firefox 31 and now I can not connect to our site Web of Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control. I get the following error message:
The secure connection failed
An error occurred during a connection to lmoemxs101q.atl2.dc.sita.aero:7799. The issuer certificate is not valid. (Error code: sec_error_ca_cert_invalid)
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.
I don't know what to do to get rid of this message. I need to use OEM to monitor our Oracle databases, and I am no longer able to do this.
Help, please.
Thank you
RoyaMaybe you can remove or distrust 'problematic' certificates are part of the authorities and add it again. Please refer to this post.

Oracle Enterprise Manager 12 c + Postgresql plugin
Hello guys,.
We would like to install OEM on several servers with the plugin for monitoring Postgres.
Our question is, is - legal - do we need pay any type of OEM license, or it is a free software that we can install anywhere.Just for the record, we don't have any DBs Oracle on our servers.
Thanks for the info!
See you soon,.
David
OEM itself is free. It contains a license restricted for DB Oracle store its data (unless you need a database with RAC for highly available environment, which must be licensed).
What is granted are adapters. In particular, one for PostgreSQL seems to be provided by a third party company - see Oracle Enterprise Manager Plugin for PostgreSQL | Medora blue
Whatever it is, check with these guys here impact license to be on the right side.

management of the PDBs with Oracle Enterprise Manager Express
Hello
is 12 c, possible to manage the PDBs with Oracle Enterprise Manager Express?
How to find the URL?
When I run select dbms_xdb_config.gethttpsport (double); on a PDB file, it returns no rows.

I have not seen.
Thank you.
is 12 c, possible to manage the PDBs with Oracle Enterprise Manager Express?
Yes - but you will not have the COMPLETE management functionality. See the FAQ doc:
http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/manageability/emx-CDB-1965987.html
Can I Plug and unplug the PDBs with EM Express?
No, EM Express does not all CBD management capabilities in DB 12.1.0.1.0.
Review ALL sections of doc
How to find the URL?
When I run select dbms_xdb_config.gethttpsport (double); on a PDB file, it returns no rows.
Have you set up EM and set the port to the PDB? Again - see the FAQ doc
http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/manageability/emx-intro-1965965.html#A5
How can I configure EM Express on CBD and APB?
Users can configure EM Express at the root and container of the PDB, with each container using another HTTP/HTTPS port. When it is connected to the root container, the information displayed are the entire database, including all PDB files. When it is connected to a PDB file, displayed information is limited to the PDB data. For more information, see the section on EM Express on the CBD.

Oracle Enterprise Manager 12 c SGD Server does not start every time that I reboot
Hello
appreciate your help and your advice on this matter.
I have a box of Oracle VM configured with windows 2008 R2 Server OS.
Installed Oracle Database 11g, created a database instance and set the requirements to install more Oracle Enterprise Manager 12 c.
Every time when I reboot my Windows Server 2008, I have a very hard time from the SGD server
do a few permutations and combinations for the start of services and get the login page of EM 12 c
Below error is more frequently encountered:-
E:\EnterpriseMgr\middleware\oms\BIN > emctl start SGD

Service Windows what oraclemanagementserver_emgc_oms1_1 could not be started
Management Server Oracle is down
Please see E:/EnterpriseMgr/gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS1\sysman\log\emctl.log for the details of the error
E:\EnterpriseMgr\middleware\oms\BIN >
In the services I checked for all the permutations, (start the service automatically / manually / automatic with time delay, etc.) but no permit far.
Can someone Guide please on a solution to this challenge.
Before shooting the emctl above of the admin command. Prompt BACK, I always make sure to check the database and Stanley are running - connect to it and query.
Oracleagent12c1Agent - is also started.
Oraclee_enterp ~ 1_middle ~ 1_omse_enterprisemgr_gc_inst_em_emgc_oms1ConfigurationManager - started
Oraclee_enterp ~ 1_middle ~ 1_oracle ~ 2e_enterprisemgr_gc_inst_webtierih1ConfigurationManager - started
OracleManagementServer_EMGC_OMS1_1-> fails to start after several attempts.
Also, I tried to stop webtier and restart who.
emctl stop who and then run emctl start SGD
This model was used to work earlier, somehow its not working as on this day.
Technically, I'm not a database / Enterprise Manager Administration background - but an Automation tester.
Try to explore the Real Application Testing and Test data management n hide the Packs of Enterprise Manager 12 c.
Kindly help

Oracle Enterprise Manager on Linux level 3?
Hello
I'm running 6 servers in tier 3 of RHEL 6.4 with Oracle 11.2.0.4 Standard Edition is installed.
Because I'm on a level 3 of Linux installation, all maintenance are carried out using sqlplus command line in an SSH session.
Is it possible to install Oracle Enterprise Manager on say a Windows machine in the same network to manage the Oracle linux instances?
Is it possible to use Oracle Enterprise Manager 11 g Standard Edition? If this is not the case, a license will make this possible?
Thank you for your response.
Kind regards

11g OEM (dbcontrol or grid control if) is a web-based application. It doesn't matter what level your Linux race is on. All my linux servers are three runlevel. I have dbcontrol on each of them. I have access via Firefox on my desktop.

Oracle Enterprise Manager control cloud 12 c - price
Hello
More than 50,000 databases Oracle (70% Enterprise Edition and 30% Standard and Enterprise edition), if I want to master all the 50 000 + databases Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud 12 c for the tasks of monitoring and administrator, how the license part works? I know that the OEM is free with EE. Is that this applies to the control of the OEM Cloud 12 c?
Thank you

All responded in the well-appointed 'Enterprise Manager licensing information' document.
For example, on this page: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/doc.121/e24474/ch10_base_functionality.htm#OEMLI333
"Installation of the Enterprise Manager control 12 c cloud base includes several free features with the purchase of any Oracle software license or support contract."

Oracle Enterprise Manager 12 c
Hello
Could you please say for a solution using Oracle Enterprise Manager 12 c?
Scenario: We have 2 DBA providers to exploit our databases and 1 Oracle Enterprise Manager 12 C to manage all databases.
Once we cannot have an OEM 12 C to each group of databases, is it possible to have a segregation off the coast of access by group of databases?
Another question is: is it possible to lock the rule 'Edit' the administrator of OEM to a group of databases managed on the basis of this OEM?
Thank you.
Greetings Antonio
Scenario: OEM - Admin = Z
S/n of databases X = X
S/n of Y = Y databases
X has only s/n X (OEM use) databases management
Y has only s/n databases management Y (using the OEM)
and Z has only read-only access to the databases X and databases Y.
X and Y cannot have the administration o OEM.
Thank you.

most long time value of service for all registered databases in Oracle enterprise manager
Hello
We use the grid control Oracle enterprise manager 11g in our environment.
I want to capture the long service time values for all the databases that are stored in the grid control.
Is there any query to get the values of the database of the grid control.
Please help me.
Thank you
Is not a 11g to test, but try mark for the target_name + target_type = "oracle_database' of mgmt$ metric_daily or mgmt$ metric_details, and do a like on metric_column looking for this particular measure... Once you have found the metric_name + metric_column, you can shoot for all the DB.

Dear all,
We have a 10.2.0.5.0 Server Enterprise edition db Oracle Solaris spark 64bits.
We want to install Oracle enterprise manager on that server by using the server db as the repository FRO the EM server.
We are download release of the EM below. So my question is that this version of the MA that we download is valid for this version of the OS, or we need to download another version.
And you can share a best tutorial to install the EM 12.1.0.4 in 10.2.0.5 db repository on Solaris spark 64bits.
