PeopleTools 8.50 Peoplebooks and FSCM 9.0 peoplebooks fusion

I installed Peopletools 8.50 with FSCM 9.0.I installation Peoplebooks for peopletools 8.50 also. Now Iam planning to merge this peoplebook with FSCM9.0.If everyone had done it before. Please give detailed steps to do.

Thanks in advance...

First install PeopleBooks FSCM9.0 and install the PT8.50 PeopleBooks above it. During the installation of the FSCM PeopleBooks Setup you will be asked to generate a collection of research; answer No. The same question is asked during the PeopleBooks PT8.50 and then you must answer Yes. This is done, you should be able to access the PeopleBooks on the URL of the PSOL where two PeopleBooks are visible.

    People,

Hello. I'm using PeopleTools 8.49 and MS SQL Server 2005. My PIA runs correctly. I just installed FSCM 9.0 system database successfully. In application designer, I have login name to FSCM 9.0 database using user VP1 and password VP1. This message appears:

"The database is free 8.48. The PeopleTools running require a database during the liberation 8.49. »

AFAIK, FSCM 9.1 requires PeopleTools 8.50.02 or higher. FSCM 9.0 requires PeopleTools 8.48 or higher. So, for my PeopleTools 8.49, I can't installed FSCM 9.0 only. But PeopleTools 8.49 and FSCM 9.0 got this problem aa (above). People can help solve this problem?

    Thank you.

Old FSCM9.0 was built on Peopletools 8.48 (previous the recut of revision 1).
Since you are using Peopletools 8.49, you must upgrade the database to the new version. Please, follow the chapter "Upgrading your database to the latest version of Peopletools" from the Guide to install Peopletools.

My MacBook Pro retina end 2013 with Nvidia GT750M is with MacOS 10.11.4 and installed with VMWare Fusion Pro 8.1.0. Like the other user complains about VMware 8.0.1. There are only of ""Supports DirectX 9.0EX with Aero and OpenGL 2.1"in Display Configuration-> 'Accelerate 3D Graphics' dialog box, not the support of Direct10.» I also installed the DirectX SDK from MSFT site / user guide.

Attached to the journal. Please help me to fix it.

  • Why only 9.0EX of DirectX and OpenGL 2.1 in Fusion 8.0.1?

I went through the user's guide (http://pubs.vmware.com/fusion-8/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/fusion-8-user-guide.pdf p13) and as far as I can say that I meet all the requirements for OpenGL 3.3 & Direct X 10 but the display settings dialog box, where to check 3D graphics on "to speed up" says only "supports DirectX 9.0EX with Aero and OpenGL 2.1" ".

    Details of the system below:

    OS: Mac OS 10.10.4

Host hardware: MacBook Air 11 inches early 2015, 8 GB of RAM

Home graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 Mb

Merge Version: 8.0.1 (Standard version, evaluation)

Guest operating system: 10 64-bit Windows

    Hardware version: 12

The guide of the user, p13, says:

3D, video acceleration DirectX 10 with OpenGL 3.3 for Windows Vista and later versions [YES: 10 64-bit Windows] as the guest OS. DirectX 10 requires OS x 10.10 or later [YES: 10.10.4] on the host version and material 12 [YES] and later. DirectX 10 also requires a version of Intel HD4000 GPU or later [YES: Intel HD6000], 650 M Nvidia GeForce or later, or AMD Radeon HD 5750 or later.

I'm evaluating merger to see if I can run CAD software occasionally in need of OpenGL 3 +. I need the pro version, I'm missing a few settings or my system configuration is not it?

    Hey there,

Yes, I got a glance.  Here's the situation... Looks like you have a Mac with the Broadwell chipset and the Intel GPU.

On this specific material, we allow to the explicitly not the path of the DX10 code.

The reason for this is there is a bug of crashing to the host that Apple has not set for OS X 10.10 on this material.

The good news is that it is fixed in 10.11, so if you upgrade the host operating system, DX10 should work without having to do anything else.

Unfortunately, it looks like we missed this in the release notes, totally our fault and apologize for this!

  • FSCM 9.1 on VirtualBox pasted on the Pages search

I installed VirtualBox 4.2 on my laptop. Host is running Windows 7 SP1 64 bit, 16 GB RAM, quad i7 processor. Created a Virtual Machine with 8 GB of RAM, running Oracle Linux Server 5.8, RDBMS Oracle 11.2.0 and assembled PeopleTools 8.52.10 and FSCM 9.1 home.

I can start everything and don't see any errors in the logs and I can connect to PeopleSoft with VP1 userid and access a component search page. But, once I click on the button of the browser search just clocks. It never updates the application pages.

If I navigate to a component that does not have a search page, for example PeopleTools - public services - Administration - Options PeopleTools, the page is displayed. But if I make a change and click on the button Save the browser clocks again and never save it.

I ran a SQL and PeopleCode trace, but you see not errors. Other than not sure error messages what else I could search the trace for me to clue the problem.

Any ideas he might trample on?

And don't forget to apply the upcoming project with patch 10. I already noticed such behavior while he was away.

  • PeopleTools PeopleBooks and app PeopleBooks

Do we need to install PeopleTools PeopleBooks and Apps PeopleBooks in different folders?

because I installed Apps PeopleBooks HRMS in the standard path % PS_HOME%/webserv/peoplesoft/applications/peoplesoft/PSOL. and when I go to the Peoplebooks in the browser using the URL http://localhost:8100/PSOL/eng/index.html, it is to show the peoplebooks HRMS Apps that I just installed.

Now, I want to install PeopleTools (8.49) Peoplebooks. I have installed on the same folder I just mentioned above. But when I go to the Peoplebooks in the browser it does not show my peoplebooks Peopletools. I think she must show the peopletools and apps peoplebooks mixed but mine is show only apps peoplebooks.

Please help me solve this problem.

    Thank you.

Yes, you must install each unique Peoplebooks in the other folder.
What I usually do is a facility in different folders (i.e. PS_HOME/webserv/PSOL/application name/language...) in a simple Web server and write an index.html page in the directory main this Web server to point to the different folder for each different Peoplebooks.

  • Can HRMS and Campus Solution 9.0 install with PeopleTools 8.49?

    People,

Hello. I installed FSCM 9.0 with PeopleTools 8.49 and applications work properly.

I want to install 'HRMS and Solution Campus 9.0' in the operating system Windows Server 2003 where the FSCM 9.0 are installed and PeopleTools 8.49.

I checked the installation guide for 'HRMS and Solution Campus 9.0'. But some Guide says that it can be installed with PeopleTools 8.48.05 or higher. A few other indications said 'in order to launch HRMS 9.0, you must use PeopleTools 8.50.03 or later version.

Can people you tell me the correct version of PeopleTools to install 'HRMS and Campus 9.0 Solution'?

    Thank you.

Can people you tell me the correct version of PeopleTools to install 'HRMS and Campus 9.0 Solution'?

Initially, the HRMS9.0 was built on PT8.48. but it was recuted. Right now, Peopletools 8.50.03 are required, as explained in the doc pulled http://edelivery.oracle.com readme.

  • Problem installing PeopleTools 8.53

    Hello world

I try to install PeopleTools 8.53 and FSCM 9.2 on system Wndows Server 2008 R2 with SQL Server 2008 R2 database.

When I try to install PeopleTools 8.53, I get the number in Task 4-2-2, step 17 in 'PeopleTools_8.53_Installation_for_Microsoft_SQL_Server.pdf '. I do not get the screen to choose the product features to install and not able to install tools. At stage 16, is go directly not 18 and not to install the tools features. I am not getting any error also.

Main question is that it gives me the option to select which features to choose to install and do not install the tools.

Please let me know, what may be the issue.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kiran

I would say that there are two things to check.

    1. do you use the license code just to what you install?

    2. you install the right part first?

First install PeopleTools and use the license code PeopleTools MS SQL.  Then install FSCM 9.2 then using the FSCM MS SQL license code.

I saw something similar to what you describe if you need to enter the FSCM installing PeopleTools or vice verse.

  • Problem of PeopleTools home

I installed PeopleTools 8.51 and created a demo database. I did many attempts because I met all sorts of errors.
    My PS_HOME is:

    / opt/PSoft/fs91dmo

Now I cam creating an appserver by going to/opt/psoft/fs91dmo/appserv and running psadmin. I have set up, and he tries to start it. It fails, but I see the tux journal he creates is in a different location / default:

    /Home/psfs9dev/PSFT/PT/8.51/AppServ/FS91DMO/logs/TUXLOG.030612

Why - what is referencing this place? I checked my profile and don't see any reference to this.

    Thanks for any help.
    -Roger

Probably, you have not set the PS_CFG_HOME.
This variable sets the dir for Appserver and processcheduler.
If you do not have this specified the default location in Unix is $HOME/TFTP/pt.

See PeopleBooks > Enterprise PeopleTools 8.51 PeopleBook: System and Administration Server > working with Domain Server Configurations > working with the default PS_CFG_HOME

If I understand you correctly, you have a variable in PeopleCode of type Date and you want to assign a value to this variable.

If the State save the the_AET field. Z_LEFT_DEPT_ON is a type of date, you can assign
    & resultvalue3 = the_AET. Z_LEFT_DEPT_ON

If the State save the the_AET field. Z_LEFT_DEPT_ON is of type number and value is in the format YYYYMMDD, you can assign
    & resultvalue3 = date (the_AET. Z_LEFT_DEPT_ON)

If the State save the the_AET field. Z_LEFT_DEPT_ON is a string and the value is in the format YYYYMMDD, you can assign
    & resultvalue3 = date (value (the_AET. Z_LEFT_DEPT_ON))

If the State save the the_AET field. Z_LEFT_DEPT_ON is of type string and value is not in YYYYMMDD format, you can use the following instructions
    Date3 (year, month, day)

Do not use % DateIn in PeopleCode to assign values to variables, only in SQL
PeopleBooks > Enterprise PeopleTools 8.51 PeopleBook: PeopleCode language reference > Meta-SQL elements
    % DateIn
    Syntax

    %DateIn(DT)
    Description

The variable % of meta-SQL DateIn develops in SQL syntax specific to the platform for the date. % Use DateIn every time that a literal date or the link Date variable is used in a comparison in the Where clause of a statement Select or Update, or when a Date value is passed in an Insert statement.

    you wrote

so, how I decide when I should help SQLExec or CreateSQL? With CreateSQL is the only building an SQL statement and assign values to the command prompt.
You can no longer use the SQL built in & SQL. Search for loops or & SQL. Run the toe run SQL
PeopleBooks > Enterprise PeopleTools 8.51 PeopleBook: PeopleCode QAnywhere > class SQL

PeopleBooks > Enterprise PeopleTools 8.51 PeopleBook: PeopleCode language reference > built-in functions PeopleCode
Use the SQLExec function to execute a SQL command from within a PeopleCode program by passing a SQL command string. The SQL command bypasses the processor component and interacts directly with the database server. If you want to delete, insert, or update a single record, use the corresponding PeopleCode record object method.

If you want to delete, insert, or update a series of records, all of the same type, use the CreateSQL or GetSQL functions, then the method of the class to execute SQL.

As you can see that all the information in PeopleBooks, you needn't wait for answers on the forums when the information is available.

  • Links Hypertext and push buttons unresponsive in the center of the Faculty of Campus Solutions 9.0

During our ranking for the last two terms, we had a faculty complain that he couldn't save more than once when entering notes.

After a closer analysis, we found that not only the "Save" button becomes unresponsive, but all the links and buttons on the page do not respond as well. The class change button, the list button Choose degree on my schedule page, etc. We have tried many browsers and tested as instructors using several different environments and one of the things we are seeing is that allows to empty the cache after that number will appear in the majority of cases, but we know not how to draw this question or troubleshoot it.

I have two questions; (1) what is an indication of a system problem (not enough memory) or a browser problem? and (2) is there a way to trace this issue and/or solve?

We are on PeopleTools 8.52.10 and Campus Solutions 9.0

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I just wanted to write an update to this announcement. The problem has been identified as a bug in PeopleTools 8.52.10 and it was fixed in 8.52.11 and 8.53.

    The document:

E - PIA: what page redirects or transfers take longer, users can click on the items Page again, out of Page target (Doc ID 1469809.1) addresses the issue in detail.

  • 8.50.07 tools:-favorite, went recently and the story is not available

    Hello
I have successfully completed the upgrade of the tools 8.48 to 8.50.07. (Application HRMS 8.9) According to the docs of the Oracle, after a single tools upgrade, in the upper left corner of the home page, the menu has changed must be visible with legs as 'Favorites', 'story' etc. But everything I can seeis logo (Oracle in RED) that I had for tools 8.48. Is there some other settings required to get these tabs on the home page?

All other tool changes are visible (zoom for grids, search as you type, etc.).

    Thank you
    Vikas

Yes, there are a couple of settings that you need to change. Go to PeopleTools > utilities > Administration > PeopleTools options and change the name of the stylesheet in PSSTYLEDEF_SWAN. Then go to PeopleTools > Portal > General settings and edit the Navigation Type to 'Drop down'. Make sure the favorite display and display recently used are checked.
