Percentage of battery always 100%

Hello

I currently have a HP Pavilion dv6-7007TX Entertainment Notebook PC running Windows 7 64 bit. My problem is that the battery percentage shown on the right side of the taskbar always shows 100%. It will not decrease much matter how long I am on the laptop. A few days before, while I switch on the laptop before Windows 7 starts to load, there was a message that had something to do with the battery, but I don't remember what was the message (only that it has something to do with the battery).

This causes a real problem for me because I don't know when I charge the laptop.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You are welcome AlanWTL.  I hope I've been helpful!

This error message appears every time that you start the laptop? Had you noticed other problems of life battery leading up to this point?

I felt initially that it was a problem of calibration. This means that the battery has forgotten where exactly were his points 0% and 100%. It is the usual cause for proper display of the remaining time/battery issues. Even if the battery test passed I would still exclude the possibility that the cause. I will propose to perform two steps in one: a hard reset and manual battery calibration. Follow these steps and let me know the result.

Hard Reset and manual Calibration

  1. Shut down your laptop.
  2. Remove the battery and AC power.
  3. Hold the power button for 10-15 seconds, remove residual power.
  4. Replace the battery/AC Power and re - turn on the laptop.
  5. After the hard reset connect the laptop to the top and let it charge for several hours.
  6. After load disconnect AC power and run check hard drive HP in HP Support Assistant until the powers of the laptop itself off the coast. Make sure to prevent sleep during this period.
  7. After the battery is fully emptied free of charge the laptop again.
  8. Run the test of the battery once more to make sure that there is no change and determine if Windows now reports the correct amount of the battery life.

  • 10 IOS on iPhone 6 battery always shows 100%

Hi everyone, I have updated my Iphone 6 (sprint) in iOS10 and since then my percentage of dough is always 100%. The phone dies, I'll do it, he will return to 100% and then shows never any number below in addition to 100 until he died. This happened exactly when I updated to iOS10 and the battery life / percentage was fine before. Any ideas or advice? Others have this problem?

Force a reboot of your device in now the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears.

  • On the iPhone battery indicator 6 always 100%

I have an iPhone 6 who bought on the release date last year. Recently, he posted only the battery to 100% charge. Once or twice I saw a type of load/buffer circle beside him, but low, it goes to 98% but still lasts the usual number of hours. It has never opened upward, without spare parts always and never stumbled on what anyone other that a pillow or bed. Tried to restart and re parameter ram. In addition, I don't live in a country where more than one Apple store is more than 8 hours now.

The battery has a gas online that provides data to the logic board on the percentage of charge of the battery.  This line is independent of the positive and negative real lines to charge to the battery charging/supply.   You could spend a lot of time trying to troubleshoot or re - calibrate the indicator of gas, or you could exchange the battery for a new one and your phone would be probably solved.  Unlike a permutation of the screen, a battery on an iPhone Exchange 6 is a simple repair.  There are different levels of quality in batteries of alternatives out there, so make sure you that you will find a source with an excellent warranty.

Apple offer mail in service repair, so you have that option as well.

  • Yet WT8 battery always shows 100%

Battery in the bottom right of the screen icon always displays the battery to 100%, until the battery is discharged and the Tablet turns off. How can I fix it?

Have you tried to calibrate the battery in the past?
To calibrate the battery, you must first unload the battery until it s would be entirely empty. Then recharge it again until its full charge.
This procedure should be repeated two, three times in the line

But beware: the Tablet cannot be turned on by pressing the power button, if the battery is completely discharged. It s recommended to recharge the battery pack by connecting the power adapter for 30 min before switching on.

  • Percentage of battery is not when the IPhone works on a charge

    Hello world

I am new to Apple as a client so still getting used to the phone and it's features.

I recently bought the Iphone 6 s more and I noticed that when I charge it and it is turned off or turned off it does not show the battery charge or how much the battery has charged as in an Android phone or when you turn off your phone and charge the battery sign appears showing the percentage that the battery is charged.

P.S I know the battery percentage look something available that only works when the phone is turned on as in when the phone is turned on.

Would appreciate an insight as to if IPhones as a thumbrule will not display the percentage of battery charge when it is turned off and charged or should I worry?

    Thanks in advance

  • Cannot charge the battery to 100% on X 1 carbon (A 20, 7) after the upgrade to Windows 10

I apologize if it's buried somewhere on the forum. I searched for hours, really, but did not find anything about exactly that.

After months of 'Upgrading to Windows 10' pop ups I finally did. On Windows 7, I was able to change my battery to 100% capacity before leaving for a business trip, then change it to the time where I went home. Now I can't find where to do and it won't load no more than 46%. I tried to download the Lenovo power manager that offered a job, but it doesn't have the menu item separate ' Power' as the instructions on the screen. I tried to uninstall the control method battery compatible ACPI Microsoft suggests another position, but that did not help either.

I have that option after having upgraded my Yoga 2 to 10 Windows Ultrabook. Enegery Manager is still responsible. I just want the same control on my battery on my X 1 as I have on my Yoga. Can someone help me?

    Thanking you in advance,

    Clare

I'll just throw this out there, no guarantee that your system has the exact configuration than mine or that I completely understand your problem: I have an application of parameters of Lenovo in my Windows menu. in this application of settings, there is a section of the battery, at the end of this section is a battery meter reset. I would start there get your battery threshold.

    I hope this helps.

  • CPU usage always 100% after installing Vista SP2

    Hello

I am currently running A Dell Dimension B110 with 1 GB RAM 256 mb nvidia geforce 6200 (pci), 2.6 ghz celron D and Windows Vista Home Basic SP1.  It works nice and fast.

That is until I have install SP2.  Then the CPU usage is always 100% when running anything (with the exception of the Windows Explorer), and the pc is running very slowly.  To solve the problem, I went back down to SP1 and everything goes quickly again.

A few weeks later, I tried again and the same result.  So I returned again back to SP1.

For future software versions, I need SP2.  Does anyone have advice and/or corrections to this problem?

    Thanks in advance

  • Percentage of battery PC stopping at values lower than 100%

I have a Samsung laptop for almost 5 years, running Windows 7, and last year, I had some problems with my battery that couldn't charge more. I decided to replace the battery and so I bought a new 3/4 months ago. However, this battery is already getting a few problems I've ever seen. It is possible to recharge, which is good, but the battery percentage never reaches the value of 100%. In addition, the values that it prevents become lower and lower: last week it stopped at 80%, but this week can't go more than 50%. I presume that in several 1/2 weeks I won't be able to use it.

I think it is my laptop that is, somehow, to "destroy" the batteries, but I already searched on the internet and not a clue. How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

    Hello!

the power on the power cable converter box may sometimes have problems. Unplug the device from the laptop, inspect the cable, see how hot the box is. Check the PIN that goes into the laptop. All the lights indicating the load or the power cable. the small icon in the taskbar wiggle cable see if the icon changes.

  • Percentage of battery for iPod touch users

I was wondering when iPod touch users will get the battery percentage if I'm not wrong iPads have, iPhones do it but why do we not have it iPod family

No doubt when H freezes or perhaps a little before.

Users have been suggesting it for the iPod touch came out and it has not yet been added.

There are (or were at least for the earlier version of iOS) method to add % battery but the result was % battery was large fluctuation with changes of load (like turn the iPod off nd then turn it on again)

  • Portege M400 - always 100% fan running

I was pleased to receive my new toshiba portege m400 today, but the noise of the fan is quite bad.
The problem is that he always runs 100% - I tried the Toshiba power save the properties of
set the speed of the fan, but nothing is made, it has no effect at all. Also, I tried to put
all three bios power options (low, full power, user), but that has no effect either.
Worse still, the cpu temperature is very cool, just 29 degrees, and there is no need
at all to run the fan at full speed. I guess that the power save utilities are bugged, and I wonder
If Toshiba will come out with a new version of their tools? Is there something I can do?

    Thank you

PS. the version of the bios 1.30, toshiba power save tools 7.08.00. The processor speed is dynamic, generally at 1 ghz and
    the temprature is very low.

    Hello

Try to clean the cooling modules. You can use the vacuum.
In addition, you must use the laptop in the places where fans can suck the air out without any problem.
