Perfect Firefox - IE7 own page
Vista, CS3, Firefox 2 and IE7.0
Several modest sites created without serious problems. New site presents in preview pages work perfectly in Firefox, but doesn't show anything at all in IE7 other than the object ActiveX security warning. All pages created from own template.
All created previous sites will continue to see no problem in both browsers.
Thank you Gary,.
You got the right answer!

In Options/Advanced/general Options, that I 'Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page' selected.
However there are some cases - for example, when a page has me 'pending' temporarily when the site is too busy ("we're going to keep you in the queue and will warn you if the website is available"), with the "Firefox prevented this page automatically reloading" bar appears in the upper part.
If I left the bar remain without any intervention on my part, can the page REALLY let me know when the site is available? Or how about if I click Close (X) on the bar, which in fact disappear. Is Firefox and then allowing the page reload, or is it always block but just to remove the notification that it is done? (A third choice, by clicking the "Authorize" button is essentially useless in this case because it just instantly reappears.)
Bottom line, I strive to make sure the page that's too busy REALLY can let know me when it is available, without having to change all of the global settings.

If you do not click allow, Firefox will ignore a metatag to refresh as follows in order to reload the page every 30 seconds:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="30">
But as you point out, by clicking on allow made that immediately reload the page and the same triggers InfoBar again. One of the many reasons that this feature is more trouble that it's worth.
If you leave the display bar or if you 'x' of the bar, the scripts can always reload the page. In other words, this function does NOT stop something similar to the following to reload the page every 60 seconds:
<script type="text/javascript">
window.setTimeout(function(){window.location.reload()}, 60000);
</script>So what is happening on the page in question depends on how it is designed.

V33.0 how can I disable "firefox prevented this page automatically reloading"?
Loading my home page I get the following message "firefox prevented this page automatically reload. Until I upgraded to V33.0 I was able to solve this problem. The response was to uncheck the "notify me when pages try to redirect", but I do not see this option in V33.0.
This should be in the same place:
"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > general mini-onglet > uncheck the box "warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page.

I clicked by mistake on the choice of "don't show this again option" in the "Firefox prevented this page open in a new window or tab", and now I can't understand how "uncheck" the box and back again once the window options.
My bad - it was the pop up Adblock Plus 0.7 Addon.
"I went just the Firefox button orange > Modules > Adblock Plus pop-up Addon 0.7 - > Options > my site rules > the site right click > edit > checked 'Block all pop-up windows' and unchecked" this rule applies to: 'New Windows' and 'new tab '.
Presto! Firefox works as before.
I didn't know I had controls within the addon that would affect the Firefox popup blocks the action.
Please call the attention on the "details of the system more.ยป

Question
Sometimes of firefox loads a page slowly with a single click, but if I double click it loads very well? Is there a reason or a fix for this? Overall, I really like Firefox. I always use the latest beta version.Hi Jlhillhouse,
It is difficult to solve the problems of the computer without knowing all the details. You should look at the link I sent you and especially to Firefox is slow - how to make it faster. I don't know any known issue as you describe, it's probably a very good bet for a response.

Whenever I start Firefox, my home page is displayed, and then another tab of a page I looked at in the past. I don't know how to do stop to load to the top of this additional page at startup and can't seem to find information on how to disable this junk page. Any suggestions? Thank you!!
Maybe you inadvertently set both pages to be your Homepage"(s)"?

I'm constantly projected this message: "Firefox prevented this page automatically redirecting to another page." The result is that I'm often looking to a white screen with an option to click on "allow". But sometimes the message arrives and I'm on the page I want to be on anyway. I do not understand this and do not know how to change this setting, if indeed I configure Firefox this way. Help?
There is a setting that can cause this message in the Options > Advanced Options > general
"Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page.

I can't open Firefox. Home page comes up, I get just the reporter Crash asking me to restart/quit but every time I do the same message always comes back. I was not able to use Firefox for days now.
In recent days, we have a lot of crashes with Trusteer report. If you have this program, try to disable it and see if that stops the noise.
You can stop the report by using the Start Menu > programs > Trusteer report > report stop
You can ask their helpdesk when a version update of their products will be available or, if you do not need this software, uninstall.
http://www.Trusteer.com/support/en/report-problemIf you do not report, so we have a crash report ID. When you send a report of the Mozilla crash puts it right in a gigantic database. We have no way to seek without the ID of the report. I don't know what the problem is without searching the crash report. Please get the ID of your last report of the accident report.

When loading a page using Firefox, at the top of the page, I get a message saying "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page - allow? This happens almost every time I start a new page, and Firefox will not allow to continue the download. I tell him to allow every time, even on the pages I have "authorized" by the past.
Clear the Cache and Cookies
Clear the Cache of the network
-> click on the Firefox button, then click on Options -> advanced-> general-> remove the check mark from the warn me when Web sites try to redirect or reload the page
-> Click OK-> restart Firefox Options window
Check and tell if its working.
