  So far I made a straight line with the pen tool and then went to effect and created a sine - like using the Zig Zag effect

  But, as you know, given that the path is still a straight line and no doubt for reasons that I still have to learn and therefore don't understand--it does not work for me.

  I tried to draw what I want with the pen tool, but I simply can't have the same perfectly smooth curves because the effects tool provides.

  I was too slow in publishing, with this addition:

  You can start by removing any other anchor point in the curve with the tool remove a provided anchor point with the pen tool, then deselect and ClickDrag with the direct Selection tool; or redraw with the tool feather on top of what you have.

  The guides and cancel are your friends.

  I'm not sure on the various appearances in two points of view: they look very different, even in size.

  Perhaps there is a clue in the appearance palette, and/or in the layers palette.

• Curve fitting non-linear with string formula

  Dear members,

  I'm working on a curve nonlinear vi using the formula string. Installation is fairly simple (Y0 + A *(X-X0) ^ 1.5). I can provide Y0 and X 0 values for the initial settings very good (from graph), but an initial value of A, is indicative. Adjustment turns out well, but it is not iterate the initial 'A' setting at all. Rather, he travels the parameters X 0 and Y0 and returns the same value of A, as shown in the initial settings.

  The vi and a data set is attached. The best parameters of adjustment of the original software, I found are A = 11310, X 0 = 0 and Y0 = - grades 4-6. With this as the initial settings, you can get the perfect fit. But if you change the value of 'A' of the initial parameter to 14000, he returned always good fit, but returns the same value for a better fit parameters.

  I watched your VI. If you set the tolerance of the cluster of termination of a lover (1e-14 for example) value, the 'A' results will be different, closer to your optimal value.

• Need help fiutting curve nonlinear

  So I have to develop a non-linear editing program to adapt to our experimental data. At frist I was not sure of the instances I have to use: either vi or the string one. I decided the vi version after looking through the previous posts on this forum. Because I didn't know how to select the settings, I had a look at the vi that has been discussed in this thread and used as a model of what I might need to do.

  However I encountered a problem. I get the following error:

  Error-20041 occurred at NI_Gmath.lvlib:Nonlinear Curve Fit LM.vi:5

  Possible reasons:

  Analysis: The system of equations can be solved because the input matrix is singular.

  I can't work out why I get this error in the vi trendline. Also if I may continue execution of vi, the values in the best now fair adjustment settings match those in the initial adjustment settings. The settings I used are close enough well-known figures (ie those I used to calculate my "data"), and they were chosen as default values.

  Any help on this would be appreciated. I enclose 3 vi. One is the vi, another fitting fitting function and the third is a vi for the weight. The I'm trying to adapt is given in the fitting function vi. The equation to calculate the weight is given in weight vi. I should also mention that the data that I have attached are not my actual experience (where my calling fake data), but it's typical of the kind of data I get. I've included some header information in this data file as the style data will come, is the location of the data columns (have only filled the appropriate columns of data for the purpose of the development of the Installer).

  I think that your units are all stripped!

  You would get a perfect fit if you make the following two changes:

  • do not wire the weight! (you must first adjust units!)
  • Change the model function to divide the result by ~ 4th-21 (see image) there is probably a specific factor that can be determined from first principles. I don't mind, because I don't know what the model is all about. .

  I am currently working on a VI control which is supposed to create a specific model of pressure inside a hollow tube to provide a test environment for pressure sensors. The details are many and complicated, so let's say I am sure that my formula to calculate this profile according to the pressures inside the hollow rings around this tube will work.

  To find the correct pressure for each ring values, I've linked to a model VI containing this form to Lev. - Mar algorithm (the non-linear curve adjustment) and let it run.

  Technically, there is no problem and Lev - Mar find values to adjust the function for the values (not perfectly sure, but close enough).

  The problem is, however, that, since the device, once suitable values for the positioning and size of the rings are found, must be built, the simulated pressure rings perhaps intersect not between them. To apply this rule, I added a check to my VI of model and if the values passed to Lev - Mar breaking the rules, the VI model gives a matrix of zeros to follow him (I tried an empty array, but that only leads to error messages).

  This solution did not work. Lev - Mar seems to ignore these cases always looks for values that break my rules (and if I put these values through my model VI, I get a matrix of zeros, as expected, so the audit seems to work).

  Perhaps I misunderstood the algorithm of Lev - Mar and it does not actually check each possible defined coefficients of finds.

  Is it possible to adapt to any function of a set of values while keeping the predefined boundary conditions?

  I understand your request you expect the algorithm to ignore a case to all zeros in the table. However, it is not implemented like this.

  Good news is, its source code can be edited and you could save your own personalized version of the algorithm of screws it is to you that you just add a check for a matrix of zeros or simply pass another parameter which indicates only a case of "broken rules". Then you would not have to continue the calculation.

  If I misunderstood your question, please clarify this. You can also post a code for further explanation, if you wish.

  Working on an application using socket connections.

  To all those who might find this thread after encountering the same problem:

  The issue was with the DataInputStream... available() was ALWAYS return zero, even if there are more bytes to read. This is our 8530 s curve 4 tests phones. Tried on another curve and "BOLD" and they did not have this problem.

  Use available() stopped and tried reading for much bigger than one of our packages will be (5000 bytes).

  Have some phones to test with 5.0.0.337 that they would not work with that.

  After the 5.0.0.1000 they all work perfectly.

  I read somewhere that the available() issue has to do with J2SE-> J2ME problems, something on a wrapper. This problem exists (or existed) with TSL/SSL apparently (sorry I can't find the thread I get this info, if someone really wants to see him answer and I'll get the link in the history of my browser of laptops).

  Looks like you may have a problem with the database of service book. Try to clear your service book database, and then return Service directories and test again.
