I had just a small question

so its time for a new blackberry and I love the curve series, and I was wondering if he had plans for a new curve (for AT & T) at any time in the near future. I don't want to buy one and get a new one out shortly after!

It would be great if they could add the record video and wifi at the 8310... but I guess this would make just TOO perfect, huh? =]

    So far the only thing you can try is to reset the unit (remove the battery for a minute), or can try to reload the operating system on your phone.

    If it's one new feature that I would try to take it back to exchange against a new one to ensure that it is not a faulty phone.

  • My screen blackBerry Smartphones has been frozen all day? Help, please!

    Okay so I recently bought a blackberry 9800 torch of my friend, its not in poor condition but it has a few scratches on it. the phone also worked well for her.

    This morning, installed an app to rename my files of music, called MTagz or something like that

    directly after the installation, a grey box with a blue loading circle sign and the word loading it appeared. I thought he'd go after a while, but long story short, he didn't.

    Ive tried to restart and turn my phone off, then on, but it won't work. If I could, I would like to uninstall the app, but my phone is completely insensitive.

    I can enter my PIN and password, but as soon as the shoes at the same time the touch screen home screen and keyboard do not work. I can also press the menu button to switch between windows, but when these windows open again I can't do anything.

    Hi all. Have a little problem. I had to go back to an old 9700 When my current iPhone broke. I needed a new card SIM from the iPhone using a different card. When I called Rogers to activate the SIM everything was fine for about a minute. I received texts that were pending since Sunday when my iPhone broke. I had full bars etc. Once a minute, he went to SOS only. While I was on the phone with Rogers Tech Support I have reset and removed the battery and SIM and all the things they wanted me to.     Is there anything else it could be? Will reinstall the OS relock the phone? Any other suggestions?

    First this... avoid this tech Rogers like the plague. He has no idea what he's talking about. All what he told you is simply not possible. Once MEP unlocked, a BB device can blocked at the factory. Nothing of what you have done or the facilities of any OS can relock a BB.

    I'd rather a complete security on the Device Wipe:

    Otherwise, a ResetToFactory WIPE:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

    After each one, put it in the SIM card and switch on the device, and then make sure that the voice is through Rogers. Only then start to worry about getting all the data to work (if you subscribe BIS, in other words).

    If you want to get off the OS Reload path, then the easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do this on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below. (not applicable in your situation)

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    Hi all, my original BB curve 9300 was stolen - son he has liked it so much I bought another one from an Internet auction site. All was well until my son has noticed there was no browser button. I rang vodafone who said that everything was fine with his contract. They helped me through the access remote and backed up, then tried to restore and update all nothing done. The only thing they think is that it is a business phone where a company buys a quantity of phones to give to employees, but they do not surf the net, so it is disabled.     If the seller has not completed ALL their steps, you have purchased a device that can never be able to function fully. But, if all is what the seller failed to detach the COMPUTER of the BB policy, then you can do indeed:

    My Torch 9800 is three months old now, and last week, the browser started to act weird. In any website I'll twitter, yahoo homepage or tumblr, there's always the whitespace or cuts that doesn't let me see the whole page. Is not that a Cup, I scroll down there will be white discounts every now and then.  It is not something bad internet connection either, I tried to test it located next to our router with full signal and always the page load like that.

    It is not a centre for Blackberry here in the Philippines and the closest is Hong Kong or Singapore. The telecom brand I got the phone to advised me to try to reset my phone back to the factory settings, while perhaps this glitch could clarify. I asked them if it was something that could be solved by putting up-to-date or is the result of accidentally change some options of the phone. In the end they told me back toward the top of my phone, it brings them so they could restore it to factory settings, bad comes to worse that he is still not back to normal, since it is still under warranty, they'll gladly give me a new.

    ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? It has something to do with the update? lack of storage space? accidentally change browser options/settings?

    the e-mail on my 9320 function does not work correctly. I have correctly configured my gmail on mydevice account and I get emails and receive notifications when they arrive, HOWEVER...

    When I opened the email all I see is heading for the topic and who it is from, there is no message body. Looking back through my old emails, the only ones I have read completely are those that I received BlackBerry when I first set up my email confirming the installation. If I select answer or forward, it opens the E-mail project but then the email app is closed completely and I'm suddenly brought to my home screen.

    1) register HRT

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Hi all

    I am a newbie to BB but recently received for the work.  My problem is trying to transfer the contacts from my old cell phone (Sanyo SCP-7050) on my new Curve 8330.  I took it to my local Sprint store, and they said that contacts can be transferred because the BB was registered on a BES.  The Bluetooth connection no longer works, I guess for the same reason.

    I don't have a chance, or there at - it another way, I can enter my BB contacts?  I have contacts stored as individual card (.vcf) and was hoping there is a way to use the micro SD card to load them on somehow.

    Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Since you're on BES, why don't you just DL your vcf to your PC and import them into Outlook? Then BES will be responsible to your BB.
