Performance of finger scanner; Unlock vs Apple pay

Does anyone know why the iPhone finger scanner 6 works perfectly every time when it is used to make a payment to pay Apple, but when the iPhone unlocking, four attempts are necessary?

I often have to just enter my code.

It was a very minor issue that became break after a update to iOS and has never been corrected.

Y at - it a configuration somewhere option that can be set so the finger scanner will work as well as it was?

Thank you!

Sorry, did not have this problem on my iPhone 6. Have you tried to remove your fingerprints and re-add them?

With the iPhone 6 s, you have the option to set up a fingerprint to unlock your device and also for the use of Apple pay. This support document explains Setup Touch ID with your fingerprint. You can configure several fingerprints. Use touch on iPhone and iPad - Apple Support ID  I can't find any information on the use of your password to pay Apple. With respect to the boarding, you get information in an e-mail message from Delta, and it will contain information about the addition of the collar to your wallet. You can also get the application of Delta in the App Store and get information from who. I've used this with Delta several times, and it works fine. You just the display on the screen pass and put on the drive. Very nice.

I'm happy to use ApplePay through Safari with Sierra and iOS 10.  However, I don't know how this will work without pairing my phone to my computer first, assuming that a bluetooth connection is necessary.  I cannot not and have never been able to associate the two.  Thus, any clarification would be welcome.

  • Apple pays lock screen

When I double tap the home button to lock the screen to bring up the portfolio to pay Apple, all my cards appear with the exception of Starbucks. Someone knows why?

I have the Starbucks app on my iPhone 6 s; Starbucks card is already in my portfolio.  I wish I could use from the lock screen, but it is not included with the rest of my cards.

    Someone knows why?

Apple pay is for the credit cards or debit; the Starbucks card is technically a 'pass' and will not appear in the Apple menu pay. You need to unlock your phone and open the application portfolio to access.

  • Apple pay B & H App

I tried to make a purchase with the app B & H and pay using Apple pay (I'm in canada). I got the check with apple pay and the transaction appears on my Amex card (thanks to the apple cover), but the purchase never happened. Everytime I open Apple Wallet and put your finger on the Touch ID button I get "pay with touch ID - hold close reader of payment. Can I get rid of the registration of the payment on apple pay?

    Hello

It is not possible to manually edit the transaction history for any card of payment given in the portfolio.

The transaction history information within the portfolio are provided by your card issuer, but do not form a permanent record of your payment history effective (it may, for example, include the amount of the original authorization).

The final transaction details will be confirmed in due course on your payment card statement.

  • Auto unlock with Apple Watch

    Dear support team Apple,

I have problem with MacOS Sierra feature "Auto Unlock with Apple Watch". I upgraded my MacBook Pro 2015 until the latest Version of the OS and Apple Watch until the OS 3.

I followed the instructions automatically unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch - Apple Support

    As a result:

    1. two factor authentication enabled on iCloud account;

    2. pass code activated on Apple Watch;

    3. I use iCloud even on Mac and on the watch.

But the option is not in the system preferences. Attached printscreen.

I have exactly the same problem. I checked that I have two factor, not two steps of authentication. I have a the same devices, 6 2015 s of MacBook Pro, Apple Watch and iPhone more. The option does not appear for me either.

  • Turn on auto cannot unlock with Apple Watch

    Hi guys,.

I need help here.  I'm on macOS Sierra on a MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end of 2013).  I actually had auto unlock with my Apple Watch two days ago.  But then I did a stupid thing yesterday and had to restore the MacBook OSX Maverick and re-upgrade to Sierra.  I can't activate longer auto unlock with Apple Watch now and it's really frustrating.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Don't feel alone, there are a lot of problems. Very inconsistent behavior.

  • I still have to type my password after I enabled unlocking with Apple Watch.

Well, I did everything correctly. Or at least I think. But for some reason, my mac still asks me a password to unlock. As I opened the cover, I get the message "Unlock with Apple Watch". But he invites me just after my password.

Did someone else faced with something similar or is that what I'm doing wrong?

    Thank you

    Sahit Anand

    I have the same question.

I filled all the criteria and even turned off the FileVault nothing helps. The MacBook Pro (with OS Sierra end 2013) seems to want to "" be unlocked, but the watch (1st generation with OS 3) shows absolutely no sign of communication with the Mac. All devices are on the same wifi and Bluetooth is turned on.

    I give up!

  • 2SV v. 2FA for Auto unlock with Apple Watch

Try to set up the auto unlock with Apple Watch on my MacBook Air (fall 2013) after the installation of Sierra. Get this message:

    Off the 2SV using applied.apple.com

... and still get the same message "2FA is required" box "Security & Privacy".

    What I am doing wrong?

P.S., rescue email Apple ID has not yet been verified, because it belongs to my sister who lives in a very different time zone, but I don't see how this should matter for the automatic implementation of release.

The message is mainly to tell you that you must enable two-factor authentication, is not that you should disable 2SV. You will need to disable 2SV before you can activate 2FA.

You should always activate 2FA it to AppleID.apple.com

I don't know why you don't see the option to activate 2FA here on the Security section. You have a device running El Capitan or later, or a device running iOS 9 or a later version in your list of devices?

  • There is no feature to unlock by Apple Watch with the Mavericks

    Hello

I've updated my Mac Mini (2013) to the Mavericks but found no line under 'Security' in 'System Preferences' which gives me the option to unlock by Apple Watch? I have re-installed the software but still nothing appears. I've updated my iCloud with the "two factor authentication" settings and still nothing...

    Can someone help me please?

You say in your post that you have a Mac Mini in 2013, but your lower signature, color gray, says you have a Mac Mini from 2012.

    Who is this?

In any case, the unlock feature requires any model 2013 and later Mac running the new macOS Sierra (NOT OS X 10.9 Mavericks) using a Apple Watch, running watch OS 3 with an iPhone 5 or later.

Time for either to update hardware and software!
