• ReadyCloud App Destop - device is in offline mode after the update for today

  Hello

  Today (2016-10-19) the app told me to update. After updating the application, it is always connect to my NAS at home (NAS ID is shown), but tells me that the SIN is in offline mode.

  When it is remote to connect to my PC at home I can confirm ist NAS, running and shown in the local network. But even the local installed desktop app told me, that the SIN is on, but offline!

  NAS is already rebbotet; App has been transformed into market. No change.

  Did I already mention Netgears updates are made to the nightmare? :-/

  Sorry for the inconvenience.

  But it is not necessary to re - establish additional folders to synchronize on your box and the PC. Please follow the steps below:

  1. uninstall the incorrect version of the ReadyCloud desktop application;

  2 download the right version on readycloud.netgear.com;

  3. install the version that is appropriate;

  4 remove this file from your computer:
  On MAC: Deleting the file / users / [logged in user] / Library/Application Support/ReadyCLOUD/ReadyCLOUD.pkg.version
  On windows: delete this file C:\Users\[logged in]\AppData\Local\Temp\ReadyCloudSetup.exe

  All folders that you have previously synchronized would still be there after you install the correct version. No need to configure the synchronization again.

• Cannot access the Media folder via App IOS Readycloud

  I have a RN204 4.6.2 running in an OSX system which will not allow access to the Media folder via the IOS app on iPhone or iPad. I can access the media folder via the ReadyCloud portal or the finder on MAC without problem, but the IOS App shows "Access Denied" and requests user & password, which, when entered, does not. I can access all other folders via the application, just not the media folder. Permissions are set the same as the other issues so I'm not sure what the question is that if she's Readycloud app for IOS. I guess the user & password requested is for NAS, although I tried the credientals of Readycloud just for fun but no help. As a note, I don't get "Connection failed" but "Access Denied", so the network access is OK but access to the file is doesn't understand why all other folders are accessible but not the media folder. And that's on both VPN connections & local. Any ideas?

  OK, get it fixed. I have changed the name of the folder, allowed full access, then he changed the name of moose. Now I can access the folder via the ios app. I'll have to rescan the actions in my media streamer, but to the East, I now access app.

  -Also on the password settings screen, select Unlock with iPhone.

  After putting on your wrist, your watch don't unlock then after whatever you do first: unlock your watch manually (by entering the access code) or unlock your iPhone.

  Then, it will remain unlocked (including when the screen is idle) until you remove it from your wrist. When you remove your watch, it locks automatically.

• Is it possible to synchronize a directory between two computers using ReadyCloud Desktop Client?

  Is it possible to use the ReadyCloud Desktop Client to synchronize a directory between two computers, i.e. of office and computer laptop?

  I use OS 6.4.2 and the latest version of the Desktop Client at ReadyCloud.

  In addition, both computers are running Windows 10 Pro.

  Sorry, but ReadyCloud app is designed to allow you to synchronize folders computer device ReadyNAS and not from computer to computer. There is no option on the client where you select as the source computer and another computer as the destination.

  Hi, if someone has some news or knowledge about the new readycloud, I'm on RN314, OS 6.5.0 Beta RC3 on the readycloud Web site and said the new readycloud would be available April, today, it is May 10 and I just had a new windows laptop I installed readycloud app I need VPN connection as I will be away from home , but I can't sign in with my password, not my my.netgear or my password usual readynas. I missed something, or the new readycloud does not work yet. I can connect to the website of readycloud with my password, my readynas comes and my actions are visible, but no luck on the app on my phone.

• ReadyNAS shown on the network, but not accessible after upgrade to OS 6.5.0

  I upgraded the operating system today and got the passage of ReadyCLOUD completed up-to-date, however when I try to access the NAS by the 'network' (intranet), it says that the device is inaccessible.

  This is also the case when you use the IP address for the NAS server. Access to the device can be done through http protocols. Local IP works with http and account access through the works of ReadyCLOUD as well.

  I also restarted all devices since the update twice to see if it was all right, but it seems that the SIN is the only one to refuse connections. It worked fine before the upgrade.

• Configuration of San - data store have more than 1 LUN

  We look at our San configuration for improvements. Our San has about 10 TB total.

  We currently have 6 LUN 1.5 TB all which are enclosed in 1 store 10 TB data

  It was suggested that we should NOT combine multiple LUNS in a data store for the reason if 1 LUN goes wrong then the entire data store is non-refundable.

  Although our SAN LUNS are created on top of raid 6 and are therefore a bit 'protected' by councils LUN 1 data store is interesting

  Does anyone have ideas to share?

  I would say that having a single data store, regardless of the underlying storage architecture is probably not a good idea.  Although this configuration is authorized you can paint yourself in a corner fairly quickly.

  1. one wonders about the maximum number of VMDK you should have by the data store.  http://communities.VMware.com/message/944120  Basically the more s VMDK on the SCSI data store more blocking of activity taking place on the disk, causing performance problems.  Each VMware engineer, I've talked about seems to stay around the VMDK 20 a range of data store, but that could change with vSphere.

  2 - How this data store backup and how long does it take?  What happens during a restore scenario?  10 TB is plenty of space and could take some time for the backup.  If you push it on tape and you must always restore the together 10 to it could take weeks or months.  This space by breaking into warehouses of smaller data gives you smaller segments of data that you can restore in case of disaster.

  3 - the number of data warehouses you have is very important if you are always looking to implement the Site Recovery Manager.  SRM relies on your storage device to replicate data between the sites.  There could be serious consequences on the rate of change of the data for a single LUN 10TB.  If you are moving in several data stores that it will make it easier to handle your recovery plan.

  Apart from the considerations above of VMware. I guess 7 performance LUNS in RAID-6 is not so great.  You have a lot of protection, but you pay for it with capacity and performance.  If you went to 10 stores of data and the LUN 10 you can change RAID settings at each data store to optimize performance, protection, and capacity.  For example 4 LUN RAID-10 high performance DB apps and 6 LUNS to RAID-5 for the ability.  With smaller LUN and data warehouses a disk or LUN failure will affect only a smaller set of services rather than your entire data center.

  In short, unless there is a really compelling reason to go with a single store of 10 TB database, I recommend you to change your architecture.

  I'm sandrine from the India. I'm with knowledge of Java software engineer, Flash ACE and OOP are understandable for me. I'm working on a project of augmented reality. I am completely new to Flash, Adobe community and I have a few questions about the augmented reality and Flash Builder:

  1 flash Builder 4.6 comes with a default Flex SDK of 4.6. However, Flex SDK of 4.6 was not allowing me to compile and run sample files. So I downloaded the version of Flex 4. 0a on Adobe.com. Now, the examples are works well, but is there a problem if I try to deploy these projects in a website or a desktop application? Once the code is compiled into a swf file, the used flex framework doesn't make much difference, it?

  2. the project of the ATR would actually on a Web site, given the different speeds of internet/processor in the world? The effectiveness of the AR project, deployed on a Web site, will depend on the number of triangles in 3D models i.e. files dae? Because according to my understanding of the heavy models means more time to download the flash app in the local browser of the internet and more time to make them by the right papervision 3D engine?

  3. can we develop a stand-alone application of the AR Office using Flash Builder? Using Adobe AIR, we can, I guess. Please see a tutorial, if possible.

  #1, if it compiles then you don't have a question. There is no reason at this stage do not use 4.6. It should group a runtime in captivity to ensure that computer users won't need to have AIR installed at all.

  #2, Papervision is old. Use Stage3D or a wrapper framework. With regard to the generic "if I download a lot of data will take the user more time to load ', so, of course.   Open the Console (Cmd + J), remove its contents, paste the following code there:

  app.getPath ("user", "javascript")

  Select it and press the Enter key at the bottom right of the keyboard. It will show you the path to the folder javascripts for your user.

  I had FF 3.0.10 for two years. My preferences are set to automatically check updates, my for a reason, it apparently never worked. I am the administrator for my Mac and have read/write permissions. The manual "check for update" under the menu help is disabled and will not work. " I tried to reset the permissions, quit and restart several times. At a given time, the window ' check for updates ' seems to be enabled, but froze when he started the download and came back to grey again.   About a month after moving to OS X 10.11.3 calendar application does not load. I thought that ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iCal deletion would empty it. I no longer get the error earlier, even if it also started with the ApplicationSpecificInformation:

  Please, back up all data. If you have iCloud calendars, archive them by following the instructions on this page under the heading "download a calendar of iCloud.com." all you need is a web browser, not the calendar application. Do the same with the other calendars of network you have, if possible.

  Before taking each of these steps, quit (leave by force if necessary) application. After taking stage, recovery and test. When the problem is solved (or when you have completed step 3 without resolving), stop and close the library folder.

  Step 1

  Hold down the option key and select

  Go ▹ library

  in the Finder menu bar. In the folder that opens, move these items (some may not exist) to the trash, leaving the open library folder:

  Calendars/calendar Cache

  Calendars/calendar Cache-shm

  Calendars/calendar Cache-wal

  Step 2

  Move these files to the library folder on the desktop (even once, some cannot exist):

  Containers/com.apple.CalendarAgent (and all others with a start of name in 'com.apple.Calendar')

  Containers/com.apple.iCal (and all others with a name in 'com.apple.iCal' beginning)

  Preferences/com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist

  Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist

  If the problem is resolved, you may be able to put some of the items you have moved in this stage, recovery and testing after each of them. Finally, you can find the one that caused the problem; Delete it. Re-create your settings if necessary.

  If the problem is not yet solved, put back to each of the points you have moved in this step, crushing the that may have been created in its place. Do not put the files that you moved in step 1.

  Step 3

  Move this folder on the desktop:

  Calendars

  Note: you do not move the application to calendars; you move a folder named "calendars". If there is no change, put the folder back where he was.

  If the problem is resolved after you move the calendars folder, the event database is corrupted. You have these choices:

  Restore the snapshot folder Time Machine or another backup prior to corruption.

  Use a third party application like "Calendar cleaner" (not tested by me) to try to repair the database.

  For the calendar network accounts, such as iCloud, all you need to do is re-enter the preferences. For subscribed calendars, simply re - subscribe.
