• Personalized workspace - monitor double pallet locations

  I use IDCS6 on a Mac with two monitors. I was previously using OS X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion). I used my main monitor to display the document and my second screen for all of my palettes and saved it as my default workspace. I recently installed OS X 10.11.3 (El Capitan). InDesign seems to work fine, but for some reason any my palettes always end up poster on my main screen, on top of my document. I moved my palettes to my 2nd monitor and workspace under a new name manually, but pallets move always to my primary monitor when I open ID or when I select my custom workspace. It moves even pallets when I switch between applications (CMD - Tab). It is very irritating. I'm constantly moving pallets of the road.

  How can I fix it?

  CS6 is unsupported on El Capitan. The forum is full of problems with it.

  Beyond doing back to your previous operating system, you're on your own here CS6 has reached the end of LIFE.

• Personalized workspace copy to other machines?

  Hi all

  I'm looking for advice on the copy of workspaces customized in first Pro CC - version June 2014.

  My client would like to create a series of custom workspaces (iMac) and then copy them into a series of identical machines - the same size of the screen.

  I believe that these provisions are in an XML file?

  A member of staff can correct paths (Mac and Windows would be useful) and advise if there are problems in doing this?

• Custom deployment of Livecycle WorkSpace problem

  Can someone help me in the EAR file deployment workspace personalized with name myCustomApplication.ear

  I am able to deploy the ear with the default name, as shown in customize_workspace_es2sp1.pdf myCustomApplication

  When creating a same generation in the same way with the other name works for me.

  Will be grateful for your responses.

  You must change the application.name in your found the space to work-ui project build.xml as Diana mentions. In addition, I guess you want to change the URL that your EAR is deployed to?

  If so, you must edit the web.xml file in the templates folder in the project work-ui. In addition, in LiveCycle Administration Console, you must save the new URL in the config.xml file. Instructions for both can be found here on pages 29 and 35 respectively. Hope that helps!

• Build the option export to another workspace - problem

  Hi all
  
  I have a page with the two regions. Logically, the two regions are mutually exclusive, only must never appear. I have created a compilation called "Simulated Login" option and set the option of compilation of region 1 to "{not simulated Login}" and the option of compilation of region 2 to «Simulated Login» When I run the page and the build option is excluded, I see only region 1. When the build option is included, I see only region 2.
  
  I have a problem when I export my application to a different workspace. Region 2 compilation option is still defined as the original application, but region 1 build option is not set after import - it should be "{not simulated Login}" but instead, it is empty. Now, when I run the page and the build option is excluded, I see only region 1 and when it is included, I see the two regions.
  
  In the meantime, I'll create another obvious option of compilation as a workaround - I'll have to make sure I have keep the two build options defined as opposed to eachother!

  Whenever I go to download the update of the software ' 7.1.0 Bundle 1149' it comes up with an error at the end by saying that I need to remove "21.4 MB of personal data", so I wonder about what exactly is 'personal data', so I can take advantage of the new update of the system...

  There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

  One:

  • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
  • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
  • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
  • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

  Second:

  • Start your BlackBerry in safe mode.  Article ID: KB17877 how to start a mode BlackBerry smartphone without failurehttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17877
  • Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow handheld to connect. If you are prompted to update, cancel the upgrade for later.
  • IF you can not connect or your desktop software does not recognize your device in Mode safe, please follow the instructions here to force detection: Article ID: KB10144 how to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader
  • Go to device > delete > SELECT DATA > select this option to remove the Social flow and smart card data bases and follow the rest invites you to complete.
  • Now, you can go back and click to update the device through the Desktop Manager, or restart the BlackBerry in normal mode and continue on the upgrade of the air.

• Missing personal workspaces after upgrading

  I installed the updated bridge on 19 July and when I started the bridge it's like again. None of my saved workspaces are here.  I've had several different according to the work I was doing so it's a bit frustrating.  Is any way to find them.  I'm on Windows and the output of the bridge is 6.3.0.177.

• Is a person having problems with playback with blocking sequences?

  Is anyone having problems with playback after creating a multicam sequence? This occurred after the recent upgrade.

  Basically, I merged my video files and audio files into one (fine and dandy), but when I tried to look into the window of the monitor or timeline, he would not play! What is the problem? I've done several times before...

  I talked to Tech Support yesterday and they told me to enter all your audio clips in the sequence Ctrl + (secondary click) click on them and press Render and replace. Then, you close app and load project again you. It has worked for me since I went deep into audio original for all sequences of blocking and rendered and all replaced. Apparently, there is a problem in this version on the audio clips in sequences making making them generate this error, but this type of tech support does not explain to me exactly what was going on. Apparently the Render and replace fuction restarts a little audio clip and allows to you to sequence work normally again. Make sure that you apply to the original audio clips of each cam, no to your chopped pieces place in the timeline you edit.

  The video presentation of the workspace is for Dreamweaver CS6. You use Dreamweaver CC, which has only two workspaces integrated: Compact and extended. However, the principle remains the same. You can rearrange the panels but you like and then save your own workspace.

  To convert the Insert panel into the insertion (as in the classic workspace) bar, you drag the tab of the Insert panel to detach it from the Panel group and back up towards the top of the screen. • Personalized workspace, an image file to fit the area?

  iMac 27' OS Lion CS4 - I built a new custom workspace where I have about 10 pallets on the desktop, and unlike my old Mac G5 Tiger running constantly, when I open an image file, it occupies the entire screen (based on the original size) and occupies space as under the pallets. I would like for the image to open or if not open then when I hit cmd + 0 for "screen adjustment" while it occupies only the area of the screen which is free. help please.

  I just tried it on my iBook. The script works in Mac Photoshop. Just open your Photoshop folder in the Application folder, drop the script into Presets > Scripts > Scripts events only and then open Photoshop, open the Script event handler. The Windows and Mac versions work the same. Follow the settings in the example of Windows. Close and restart Photoshop, and it will work.

  In LiveCycle 8.2 was the C:\Adobe\LiveCycle8.2\jboss\server\all\deploy

  On a turnkey installation, it's C:\Adobe\Adobe LiveCycle ES2\jboss\server\lc_turnkey\deploy.

• Personalized workspace

  I just to Illustrator, Coreldraw and so I'm used to working in a particular way.

  In Corel working space is virtually unlimited. It's like I have a huge white table without terminals where I can build and spread the pieces around here and there. Gathering all my various items that I will gather on my page or document.

  Being new to Illustrator it seems to me that my work space is limited to the artboard.

  Honestly, I'm OK with the concept of the artboard, but the area outside the artboard is dark. Do not invite as a place to set elements side for later use.

  So I guess my question now is; set the area outside the artboard to be white?

  Yes, in Preferences > User Interface > canvas color. Select 'white '.

• Is a person having problems with Morph Cut

  I have published an interview of 2 cameras multicam sequence and then created a new sequence to cut change the interview, dropping the Multicam sequence in this new sequence a video track, by cutting out the stuff I want not etc. Then I'm going to apply a Morph cut on a mount point of the sequence, and I get an error message stating: "error reading property node. "A low-level exception occurred in: Morph cut (AEVideoFilter).

  It then it's there... Analysis in the background and never does anything.

• Personalized workspace - Logout

  Hi all

  I have created and deployed a custom look and everything works fine except if a user press logout.

  

  Inside the log file, it always seems to try to hit mycustomapplication/main.html.  I don't see in the documentation that need to add something specific to the configuration file for the disconnection or the whitelist page.  Anyone run into this and found a solution?

  

  It's on LiveCycle ES3 SP1.

  If everyone runs to this I found the solution.  When the compilation of the ear again in flex or flash builder make sure set default values in the web.xml file.  The documentation says only consider replacing the values and it doesn't tell you why or why not too.

  The values in the Web.XML that require an update are the source_url and the login_url.
