Phishing scam or no scam Phishing
Original title: TYPE PHISHING OR ANY TYPE of PHISHING scam scam?
I'm just an e-mail informing me that Hotmail is the upgrade of their database and to continue with my account that I have to fill in my name, password and the countries at the bottom and then press on answer. Is this valid? It is the first time I noticed it, and he only appeared on one of three email accounts I have with hotmail. In addition, there the hotmail logo and brand. Of course, they would know that I have been active. I use my emails ALL THE TIME! He also told me that it is a FINAL OPINION.
PS for several months, I received a LOT of emails indicating that he has money waiting for me of the FBI, of priests, officials, and the list goes. I have notified the FBI and I scored on several occasions messages as phishing scams, but I still get them. Help!

Constantly flooded with pop up / phishing scam messages!
Hi, I was wondering if someone could help. For the past 2 weeks I've been flooded with boring jump - rises from the constant / phishing scams "congratulations you have won..." "on my iPhone and an iPad 2! It has gotten to the point now where I can't use any of these devices! as soon as I use safari, google chrome, most apps for example BBC News, BBC sport, etc... It automatically goes to the prize / competition messages and can't click on them. I was not on all questionable websites, just news and sports that I used for years, starting by it seemed to be only BBC sport app but then quickly spread to all! It seems also occur just after I did the last software update, do not know if this is related to the problem?
So far, I have:
- Removed from web history (several times)
- Completely erased and reset all devices and set up as a new iPad / iPhone.
- Created a new Apple ID, incase it was related to my original account.
- Make sure blocker made in the settings.
- Been in the apple store for help twice, they just did what I had already done. He seemed to disappear when in the Apple store, but as soon as I got home n used them once again, he was back!
- I tried installing apps blocker, but they did not work, and most are not comparable with iPads.
- Messaged Apple on the Live Chat, but they did not help, just what I had already done before.
I'm completely lost what to do next.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to get rid of these horrible annoying messages / pop - ups, I would be very grateful.
Thank you
Hello
Maybe isn't your iPad is the problem but your router.

I block junk emails every day, always bring, I mark the email phishing scam day after day, always find them in the same places day after day after day, is it possible to stop really and how?
original title: tired of itYou have posted in a forum for MSE, antivirus, antimalware application. You must investigate e-mail options... providers (hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc) screen several e-mail for spam. You don't have not yet described here your email client... so there is little that anyone can tell you that generic advice.

I am a victim of what I believe to be a phishing scam
I am a victim of what I believe to be a phishing scam, I want to stop as soon as POSSIBLE, but the forum to find answers is closed, any help?
Help and Support for Windows Live Hotmail can be found at http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=1
If Hotmail is not your e-mail provider, contact your ISP. If you provided the connection information by clicking a link in an email and you believe that you have been a victim of phishing, change your password * immediately * by going to the site that you thought that you connect to.

Emergency technical - SCAM or phishing?
I have signed in error of the UTH help last night. I became suspicious after the signing and found research that it is essentially a scam online. What I've seen do, is use CClear to remove my logs of error messages, search for the tree of my HDD and fast scanner MSE and charge me a bunch of money. I pray that this is just a scam delivering not much for a lot of money rather than the phishing scam which extracted valuable information from my computer. As far as I can tell that I deleted the software they installed last night, changed my internet and financial passwords, requested my money back guarantee (they actually recalled this mornng to see how my system was for their 'work'). Big surprise, their work does not seem to have done much to my system performance. Let's see if they actually cancel the payment. Now I'm corresponding in the world of user MS to add my two cents to this type of scam. I would appreciate any other suggestions (knowing that the horse may already be out of the barn).
Thank you
Jim

I use Internet Explorer and when I get an email which is obviously a phishing scam, I click on "mark as" and then I click on "phishing." My question is: when what happens? and another question I have is: when I click on 'Block sender' and I still continue to receive emails from an unwanted source, what can I do about it? My security settings are already defined very high.

I just got a phone call from AMMYY claiming they are microsoft. I got suspicious. They are actually affiliated?
These scam calls are usually of a person representing Windows rather than Microsoft, but in any case, the call was nothing else than a phishing attempt! Do not give any information.
It is a scam! Not to follow their instructions or advice and not to provide ANY information to them.
Because they use the internet lines and/or phone to complete their fraud, there may be federal agencies in your country who are interested in discovering their calls. Their report directly to the appropriate agency if you feel you can contribute to their arrest and the charges.
Microsoft do NOT pick up the phone and start dialing customers and never phones/e-mails asking for personal information or asking them to visit a web site! Please do not take into account these calls and hang up immediately.
Avoid scams that use the Microsoft name fraudulently
On another note, if you have problems with your computer, please do not hesitate to post a description of the situation and the error messages you received in those forums. We would be happy to help you. (information staff unnecessary or requested !)

Hello
Its a SCAM!
In the United States, you can contact the FBI, Attorney general, the police authorities and consumer
Watch groups. Arm yourself with knowledge. The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), funded in part by the Bureau of Justice Assistance
(BJA).

on your computer. So those are the frauds or scams to get your money or worse to steal your

Hi, I expect email directly on Adobe but, it took a while to find a way, and it looks like my best shot.
I just wanted you to know the e-mail I received last night:
[edited by the host of the forum - content email removed for security reasons]

I'm sure that it is safe to say that it is a phishing scam, so I wanted to just anyone out there to be aware of the existence of this site and this email is probably spreading around.

See above
It sounds like phishing. This happens every time, or he could have one pop - under page to a random site that does not necessarily indicate something lingering on your computer?
One of your extensions was said to be often bundled with other software, so you can check the Control Panel, add/remove programs to see if something unexpected is. Click on the column heading "installed on" group by date, which is useful to identify the bundle items.
If you find other strange symptoms, see our article on support for suggested scanning/cleaning tools: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware.

Phishing scam? E-mail offering free global calling 1 month
I received an email that offers 1 month free global calling that appeared to be from Skype. I started to open a new window and log in Skype like this, but then clicked on the link in the email that he pay back. The next screen asks my billing information and it dawned on me that I had done something stupid and connected to, then changed my password. I couldn't find the coordinates for Skype on the site (email support a link some autour loops) so I Googled it and found a bulletin board listing these: [email protected], [email protected] I am assuming that they are false? This is my first question. My second would be is it really a scam? I received responses from these emails telling me that this is not a scam and encourage me to click on the links to connect. Thanks for your comments!
Well, I logged in discussion again today (you must click on identity theft for the cat, I think). He said that all email addresses I listed are legitimate and therefore the offer. I kept a transcript of the first session of cat and I realize that I misunderstood him (there was a language barrier or dialect) and it does not support emails were not for Skype. I would say that Skype after the offer on your account and you will be asked to connect by using a new window to take advantage of the offer. Either that or give you a code and let you open a session in a new window. The first type of cat is adamant that I had to click on the link embedded in the email and enter payment information or I could not benefit from the offer. Well, it's a good offer so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I should have checked before I clicked on the link - launch so hours of worry.

Why is it so difficult to find an email to report a phishing scam?
I can't believe that the iTunes store is not an easy find lnk to report scam emails. Most large companies have this to protect customers, I have not found one to report an email sent to my mother in law. I hope this is something apple can fix in a relatively short time, cause it will not get better I can see.
Use [email protected].
