You use two-factor authentication to your iCloud account? If so, the only solution I could find that worked was to generate a password App specific through AppleID (https://appleid.apple.com) site and use it as a password for my Windows Mail/calendar to iCloud account.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS Text Message Forwarding

Can I configure my Tour 9630 to automatic transfer of text messages SMS to my email account. or, except that set up where my email is notified that I got a SMS text message on my BB?

I don't know why you want to duplicate SMS in your email... and I hope that you have an unlimited SMS plan...

But yes, there is: txtForward, can be found here:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones sms texts are not 'threaded' more

My text messages are not threaded more - every single incoming text appears even if it responds to a previous text.  I do not know exactly when this happened, but it's probably in the last week or so.  I have not installed any new apps and tried a hard reboot.  The only thing that I can remember recently is to remove my account gmail and adding a different Gmail (via BIS).

I have not found any setting in my BB "BOLD" for this and I had no luck looking for an online solution.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Look at the Options > SMS text > number of previous items.

What is your set number to? Set it to '7' and then observe what does what you want.

  • SMS text messaging works only on El Capitan

Recently, I spent my iPhone to a basic cell phone.

not Verizon data use my iPhone as an iPod Touch - with wi - fi.

I tried to send SMS from my MacBook Pro in El Capitan via iMessage for my cell phone and all simply not possible.  I get message is not available.  I even go CONTACTS and changed my iPhone for mobile phone number.  Just won't work.

All support implies that the use of SMS Texting of El Capitan, you must have an iPhone to send it through--and that the iPhone is not connect to a telephone network - can not do.  Excellent idea of a point of view marketing, but it does mean Apple says that I have a working iPhone with cellular service to send text messages SMS of my MacBook?

    Bad idea.

Yes SMS on Mac is supported only if you have a full functional iPhone.

SMS grafted on a line of phone your provider in order to work.

It's not marketing, it's how SMS works.

  • New owner to a Z10 Z10 BlackBerry cannot send an SMS text message

My wife and I have acquired recently Z10, with release 10.2.1.2976.  We are totally unable to send SMS texts using addresses out of our address books.

Hapopen of two things: 1. in the lower right, the screen says not 'SEND', it says 'SUBMIT '.

    2. we bot getting the error meg "this address is invalid.

    What is going on?

I have a clear impression of this forum that there are lot of problems of text with the 10, but I've not seen this exact

-Enter in the party that you send text [of your contact directory]

-Press on "Next" at the bottom right of the screen [THE PART I DID!]

    -Enter text

(The word 'NEXT' has now changed to 'SEND')

    -Press on "SEND".

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Curve has NO electronic mail, SMS text or Internet access! Am desperate!

    All this happened today:

Unable to send/receive any personal or business email on my Blackberry Curve. (messages are sent or not with a "protocol error".)

    Can't send SMS text message

Can not access my Internet browser.

Psychic network status now reads GSM instead of EDGE (which she always) - and even, at one point, read SOS

Check my status on my phone services and my mobile network is fine; the voice is fine.  It's the stuff of Blackberry is all messed up.

    BlackBerry Internet Service not connected.

    BlackBerry Enterprise Service not connected.

Having read all the stuff to take the batteries and all what - is that this will remedy?

I also had the same questions. I had to go online, log my blackberry account and return service directories to my phone. That took care of everything for me. I hope this helps.

  • Automatically deleting blackBerry Smartphones my SMS text!

I bought my Blackberry at a friend's House and there seems to be a few things wrong with it!

I don't touch even my phone and my SMS will remove themselves...

I receive an SMS and it will automatically delete until I read it...

There is therefore the possibility of composing and MMS message on my device...

    HELP PLEASE!

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

For the MMS, which carrier do you have? Some carriers, such as Sprint are not MMS.

    For auto-delete SMS text messages:

First thing? Check the file without Options > status, what is the number to the free file? Now, remove the battery from your device, hold a minute, replace, and restart. What is now the free file?

  • The phones call log blackBerry smart and SMS text messages disappear from newspaper. Memory is sufficient.

Hello.  New to the forum and not super good filled in with what this phone can do.  It seems that maybe once a month that my log of phone calls and SMS text messages disappear.  I'm not all messages if... some messages stay in the newspaper, but all my calls, present and many of receipt simply disappear.  That happened last night and the memory on my legacy 3 690 821 bytes.  Any ideas?  And are lost forever, or is it possible to recover.  I have now understood how to save them, but would like to return the others if possible.

    Hello

You have not only the options on your device.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I have a Curve 8330 (Sprint). I can send/REC/WAV SMS / texting or emails send/REC/WAV during a call?

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Sprint).  Can I send and receive the SMS/Text Messages or send/receive e-mails from Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail accounts during a call?  To get an audio notification (beep), it seems to me when I get new SMS or Email during a call but I can't seem to send/receive when I'm on a call.  I can't browse the internet either.  He told me to end the voice call first.  Is there a way can I fix?

Please let me know as soon as possible.  Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

    Please, try the following

Remove the battery while the device is activated, replace after one minute,

Let the device reboot 1-3 min, retry the function that was the problem

    Please let me know!

    Thank you

  • SMS text new blackBerry Smartphones go directly into the address book

In my messages folder, when I select 'Compose SMS text' options are limited to the phone or Email and not my address book. I change all the settings, this just appeared out of the blue. Could someone here help?

I'm a bit confused by your statement, you can try and rephrase it please

In the meantime, try a battery Pull:
    1. remove the battery while the phone is turned on
    2. wait a few seconds before inserting it again
    3. wait for the long end of the boot process (takes a few minutes usually)

This clears most of the software problems that occur on the BlackBerry from time to time. You can also use Quickpull, a free application that simulates a battery pull without removing the battery: http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=27660
A battery pull gets lost when using the applications memory and clears minor software errors that creep over time. The blackberry is running an operating system just like your PC is running windows and battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot / restart your computer.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Bold 9650 SMS text limit

I was wondering if the BB Bold 9650 has a SMS text length limit? And if so is anyway to fix it if it isn't. I ve had two messages not send and do not know why, except perhaps for the length.

No text message limit would be imposed by your operator, not your phone.

You can check with your carrier to see what their limit is generally (160 characters per message), but with a longer message that one should not cause it to be sent.

  • BlackBerry smartphones? Free SMS text at the front desk?

I scanned my user guide and forums, but couldn't find an answer to...

Can I configure my 8300 so that when I get a SMS text message, the message automatically?

Basically, I try to have my curve as an alphanumeric pager function.  Once the Miller vibrates, I just want out of my pocket, the message, press a button Delete and move on.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions... JB

OK... too simple and too cool.

I guess that after the bumps, I fell on the configuration of this thing, I tried to make it more difficult that there is some!

It's the kind of practical, intuitive functionality, so that I got this phone.

    Thank you... JB
