Hi, I have the phonegap installed in my pc and I want to use, for example, the command-line build android phonegap.

It should not return me an apk file?

I would like to know whatelse correctly I need installed on my machine to make it work correctly?

    Thank you!

Check the version of the level of the Android API that you have installed. The documentation (Guide of the platform Android - Apache Cordova ) 5.x.x Cordova-android supports up to level 23. If you have only 24 level, I would suggest using level 23 and see if that helps. Level 24 API requires Java 8, and you only have version 7.

You can also install Java 8. Cordova works very well with it. However, if you have only level API 24, install 23 and use that until Cordova-android officially supports the API level 24.

See if that helps your question.

Side note: remove references in the config.xml file for plugins that you do not use. Including the plugins that you do not increase the size of the app, the startup time and potential problems.

  • How to install Phonegap by CLI without Internet connection

    Hello guys.

I just want to know in regard to this question because in the docs phonegap it was did not there if you install phonegap by CLI, you need an internet connection.

    Here's the command:

    NPM install g phonegap

If with should this, I really an internet connection when installing phonegap by CLI?

If SO, is there anyway where I can install phonegap without an internet connection using the CLI? I don't want to use the desktop version, because I want to have all the benefits of using CLI on the desktop version.

Please help me guys hurt, I need your help. Thank you!

You need an Internet connection at a given time. Why?

-NPM install phonegap g: download the PhoneGap CLI and dependencies associated with NPM, which requires Internet access. You can download them to your local machine and install them like that, but anyway, you must Access the Internet at any given time.

-create a phonegap: by default, the Hello World template downloads. You can change it in a local directory.

phonegap-plate-forme add: download the NGP platform. Again, you can install from a local directory, but you will need to download the platform at some point.

-Add some phonegap plugin: download the plugin from the Museum. You can install from a local directory, but you have to download the plugin at some point.

-The first time you build for Android, Gradle will be configured and download dependencies.

Now, if you don't mind not to transport files back from an environment that has Internet access, you can download the first four on a USB and copy on the environment that doesn't and then install from local directories. I'm not entirely sure of what to do about the Gradle part. You can probably do something similar, but I have never tried.

It is easier to have an Internet connection through the first generation. After that (assuming that you do not change the platform or plugins), I don't think that you need an Internet connection until you need to deploy it to the app store.

  • iTunes fails to install the created PhoneGap Build .ipa file

I used PhoneGap Build to create a .ipa file signed.   However, iTunes is not able to install it on my iPod Touch which is running iOS 9.3.4.   When I start to synchronize the device it goes through the process of installation of the application, but then the application icon disappears and no error message is displayed.   Any suggestions on how to figure out what might be wrong.   I use the latest version of PhoneGap - cli - 6.3.0 (4.2.0 / 5.2.1 / 4.4.1)   My application ID is 2214031.

    Yes.

The distribution certificate allows you to download from the AppStore. Apps can only be downloaded and installed from there, then.

If you want to install on your device to directly test a .ipa, there a development certificate, the devices registered (in your account of Apple developers) and a mobileprovision with these included devices.

Hello. You are not able to build for BBOS with WebWorks 2.0 product. BBOS is a separate architecture even to WebWorks.

To build to BBOS, you will need to use the tools BBOS here:

  • The BackBerry not used 10 signing keys? With the help of PhoneGap

Hi BlackBerry and the community, assistance

I got the following when asking tests regarding an earlier version released on the app store:

'Correct. You can download the file on the supplier portal and keep in draft mode and then add BBID peoples to the sandbox and then they can download via BB world. »

So I tried it and when you transfer the .bar at the store he sas what follows:

"Bar is not signed RDK bar isn't signed AUTHOR this bar contains unsigned entries that did not check integrity."

I'm sure I know what the question - I have not idea where set them (when built with PhoneGap desktop) what keys to sign with...

    Thus, for example, this is the command I use to generate the output;

    ./Cordova/Build qnx release k

Then, to give some info, I followed the guide of BlackBerry and produced three files: author.p12, barsigner.csk and barsigner.db.

That have been implemented: "~/Library/Research\ In\ Motion /" on my Mac.

I asked about PhoneGap but no response, but do you know where I define the keys that PhoneGap should use? I'm 100% sure that I use the password correct and everything.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

2.9 +, node js and the blackberry tools must be installed on your system.

You can find the node js here:

    http://NodeJS.org/

Blackberry tools can come from the native SDK or WebWorks. Since you already have installed WebWorks, just make sure that BlackBerry\ 10 WebWorks\ SDK\ 1.0.4.11/dependencies/tools/bin/ is on your way.

    There are instructions here:

    http://Cordova.Apache.org/docs/en/3.1.0/guide_platforms_blackberry10_index.MD.html#BlackBerry%2010%2...

It does not specifically call on the dependence of node because it already is a sine qua non to CLI. The community is currently studying how to improve the development of docs for based CLI "legacy" vs.

  • Test a PhoneGap App on Simulator

I created an application in DreamWeaver and bundled in one. JAD file optionally Phonegap using the.

I tried to put the .jad on the web and navigating to the url with the Simulator, with no luck.

How can I simulate the .jad on my computer file?

    EDIT

I found a posting on the web on the issue at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/766870/blackberry-run-a-jad-file-on-the-simulator

According to the website Internet accessing the jad location in the browser of the Simulator should do the trick. When I go to the location the .jad downloads file and I get a message saying 'cannot find the application default'.

    Hello

Please note that the JAD file is just a text / file descriptor that indicates where to get the COD files. The JAD and COD must both be hosted on your web server / system files to install the application.

However, there are two essential points:

    1. When an application exceeds a certain file size, it is actually broken into several, brother COD files. These COD files are then packed in a ZIP and finally the renamed ZIP a COD. When you distribute an application using JAD, you must unpack archive in its files of COD sibilng and host those instead of archive full of COD. The best way to check is to try to open the COD file with an archiving program (for example WinRAR). If you get an error, the cod is a COD and can be hosted as is. If you can see the content inside the cod (i.e. brother COD files), then you must extract these files brother and accommodate those with your JAD file.
    2. The JAD will point the COD (compared to the JAD) file. You can open the JAD file with a text editor and check the RIM-COD-URL attributes to see where the cod files must be placed (regarding the JAD file.) Most of the time (except if you have made any specific changes), the COD and JAD files should be placed in the same folder.
  • An error not handled during construction or the app runnning a Cordova/PhoneGap BB10

    I'm trying to implement a project of 10 BlackBerry with Cordova/PhoneGap 3.0.0.

It took me a long time to understand the Platform for BlackBerry 10 guide actually refers to the version available on http://cordova.apache.org/ and must be installed noted differently on the first page of the site Web PhoneGap.

I have successfully created a project and added my Z10 camera as target.

However, when you try to run 'build debug z10' or "run z10" I always get the following error message:

events.js:72 throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event

    Error: spawn ENOENT
    at errnoException (child_process.js:980:11)
    at Process.ChildProcess._handle.onexit (child_process.js:771:34)

    Any solution to this?

We've tracked down the cause of this error to the tools BlackBerry NDK is missing from the system path.

After you have installed the BlackBerry native SDK, tools must be added to your system path. Manually add the bin directory to your path, or run the following scripts in the directory where you installed the NDK:

    Windows

    bbndk - env.bat

    Linux/Mac

    source bbndk - env.sh

Note: the script execution will only add tools to your path for the current shell. If they persist, you must add the path to the bin directory using the Windows or Linux/Mac bash profile environment settings.

  • Integration of the java code BlackBerry with Phonegap.

    Hi all

I don't know if I have a good question, as I'm new to development Phonegap, not knowing anything about it.

I want to know how integrate us the BlackBerry with Phonegap code java code, in particular, how a screen be pushed using the code Phonegap? Give me a solution, thanq.

    Hello

Getting started guides for cordova (on which is based the PhoneGap project) can be found here:

    http://docs.PhoneGap.com/en/2.4.0/guide_getting-started_blackberry_index.MD.html#getting%20Started%2...

Here are the docs for the creation of plugins based on Java for BBOS (versions 5-7).

    http://docs.PhoneGap.com/en/2.4.0/guide_plugin-development_blackberry_index.MD.html#developing%20A%2...

For most applications, there is no need to develop plugins with Java. Your screens should be based on HTML and JavaScript.

Keep in mind the benefit of using cordova is to target multiple platforms (BBOS, 10 BlackBerry, iOS, android and others). You always need to install SDK BlackBerry WebWorks.

    I hope this helps.

Am I missing some configuration so that it can look for one of these 3 files, instead of just "CordovaExample"?

I tried to get PhoneGap works on my mac. When I build a debug version, it gives me this error:

Where can I configure the location of my debugging token? The BBNDK is installed and I executed the script of bbndk-env. Don't know what I did wrong here.

    Hello

    Thanks for reporting this.

You will need to run ' source bbndk - env.sh "and you can confirm it worked by running" that blackberry - deploy. "

The warning about the debugging token can be ignored. It is not generated until you use the run script.

We will clean up to make it more explicit error messages.

  • How to explicitly sign .cod file and jad file available in the blackberry phonegap application OTAInstall folder.

    Hi all
I developed a blackberry software, phonegap will OTAInstall folder that contains unsigned .cod and jad files, I want to give to this folder to the client so that it can make the .cod signature of the OTAInstall folder and install it in their device.

Note- Customer don't want .cod signature on my side and I can't share my code for the client, I can only share files .cod unsigned file OTAInstall to them.

    Thank you all

Hi there, when you build with the SDK WebWorks, if you omit the parameter g then the application must be created without his signature.

Once you share the unsigned cod, the customer must have their own WebWorks SDK installed, as well as of the signature code may operate the SignatureTool.jar in the folder bin to sign actually unsigned cod files and keys.
