  I think you need to be in Expert mode in the editor of 13 EPS, and then they are listed under the file menu.

  

• Backup of photos in PSE 8

  Whenever I have save photos using PSE 8, it backs up not only my photos, but also dozens and dozens of xmp files, as well as files of a dozen who have a music note on them, which I guess is a music to accompany a slideshow or something. I checked preferences and have looked everywhere I can think of to try to eliminate the unnecessary backup files (not image files). It's especially annoying when I do a backup on a non-rewritable DVD. Not much, but I was wondering if anyone knows what I can do to just save the picture files. Thank you very much.

  Hi Ron,

  These XMP and XML files are files that contains information of face recognition and details of smart tags.  These are saved to make sure that you don't loose this information in the restored catalog.

• Why can't I just copy it from the Finder Clipboard to editor of photo in PSE 15 for Mac

  I copied a photo (.jpg) image to the Clipboard. I check the contents of the Clipboard in the Finder, and the image is there. However when I go in the PSE 15 photo editor and try File/New/Image to the Clipboard, 'image of the paper' is gray as if he is not an image in the Clipboard. This is a bug or I'm missing something. Help.

  Hello

  -To copy the image to the Clipboard, first Open the image in preview.

  - Then using cmd + c to copy the content.

  -Now start PES.

  -Go to file-> new-> Image to the Clipboard.

  Image will get open to post-secondary studies.

• By default, 10 setting printer PSE tray back

  I have PES 10. My OS is Windows 7. My printer is a Canon MG6120. Selected for the computer and all programs default print tray is the Cassette. He was selected under devices and printers (path: Panel\Hardware and the Sound\Devices and printers control). All my programs accept the tape as paper by default or the Board, except for the PES 10source.

  In other programs, I manually change the Paper Source for the selection of the quarterdeck through the window of the printer properties dialog. However, the source document for my PES 10, after manually editing of tray: rear tray to tray: Cassette, resets back to tray: rear tray after printing and even after using the change settings and Advanced settings dialog windows.  See the image to insert.

  Usually, I print on paper. The quarterdeck is normally closed. If I want to print on photo paper, I open the rear tray and insert the photo paper. I check that I have the printer set up to use the quarterdeck. After printing on paper photo (from any program), I reset the paper cassette source.

  I had the same problem with PSE 13 on my Windows 7 computer, and I think I found the answer. It is in the printer properties > Page Setup (second tab) > Printing Options > check the box that says disable the setting of the application paper source.

  

• Photo PhotoSmart 7520 tray is blocked when I try to print photo 4 x 6 for the first time.

  I just bought this 7520 and installed the software; then when I tried to print a picture for the first time, I kept getting the error message that the photo tray is locked (will not travel to bottom to pick up the blank photo paper) even if no clogging. The call centre could not solve the problem, and they ship me a replacement printer; but I suspect that this may be a common problem.

  I searched the post, and someone else had the same problem.  The solution is that the tab on the slide of paper size was outside the slide area.  I fixed it, and the printer now prints pictures.

• When I look at a photo, PC keeps "searching for missing file.

  PC was overloaded with thousands of photos. I cut and pasted on a separate hard drive.

  Now, I tried to copy and paste on the drive C on the PC.
  I see the images of out-of-focus, with a dialog box saying "searching for missing file.

• Cannot print from PC to photo photosmart 7515 tray

  My printer is a HP Photosmart 7515. I'm running Windows 7 on a Dell Inspiron One all-in-one.

  The interface between the computer and the printer works fine, but I can't understand how to print photos from my PC to the photo paper tray. I configured print 5 x 7 paper options (that I have loaded in the photo tray), but the image came out on the tray paper 8.5 x 11.

  I googled this problem and found that others have the same problem. Is it possible to do so and if so, how?

  Sorry to hear that you are having problems with printing photos. Just to be sure, we are located using the photo tray try this:

  -Click on the round of departure-> click on devices/Printers

  -Find and right click on your printer-> preferences click on printer

  -Select the paper / quality-> in the 'paper source select' choose the photo tray

  -As a result the size of the paper (the next option down)

• How will I know if I deleted a photo or if it is missing?

  I recently got a new MacBook and just left my old one on an external hard drive. I keep my photos on the external hard drive now and everytime I open LR, he seems to forget where are my pictures. I found a few missing pictures before, but they seem to disappear again when I close and re-open later LR.

  I also deleted pictures in the recent past (before and after the transfer to external hard drive) from the inside, LR, and now I can not tell if the? refers to two photos and deleted missing photos or only missing photos (often there is no thumbnail for me to see what picture it is). Is there a way to tell if the photo has been deleted or not? I don't want to waste my time looking for mysterious images of (miniature less) that I wanted to delete anyway. I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance for any guidance on this.

  If you use the option delete picture or pictures in LR, and select Remove from the disk image files are both removed from the LR catalog and removed the disc they were on. There is no way to remove an image from your hard drive and not remove it from the LR catalog from inside Lightroom. You can delete the catalog and not delete hard drive in LR, but not vice versa.

  So if you see a question mark (?) next to a LR image is unclear to where is this image. For as far as LR knows that the image is missing.

  There is a problem with Mac computers and external drives.

  (1) start up your Mac, it can take a few seconds to a minute or more for OS X to see the external hard drive is connected. If you start LR at the moment sees no OS X, recognize the external hard drive you will get? marks on all the images that are stored on this drive and imported in the LR catalog.

  (2) OS X has a function to put hard drives to sleep, internal and external drives. If this happens, OS X puts your drive external to sleep and you open LR it may take some time for the reader to be seen and for LR to connect with the pictures that are on this drive.

  There is a setting in the OS X preferences to stop this (or at least there was at the time Mt Lion and Maverick in Mac OS X. I have not used the new versions of OS X).

  Picture Messaging is the same as ever in PSE 12. Have you moved to a mac? It has never been picture messaging in the mac version, but mail OS X includes models of stationery that you could use.

• Straighten a Photo in PSE 8

  I experienced some difficulties with the use of smoothing in PSE 8 tool while working to 'change guided '.  It works fine when I have a feature of good photo that should appear to be horizontal, but isn't very good, when I have only a good vertical device to work with.  This causes me to have to guestimate a relationship between the horizontal guide line and the good (central) vertical feature on the photo 90 degrees. My program of PSE 8 appears only to allow me to use a horizontal line for this purpose.  Is there a way to impose / use either horizontal & vertical overlay grid or otherwise convert the standard horizon line straightening to a vertical?

  You should really try FastStone or the other suggestion that has been made in your other thread.  Elements can not do exactly what you want.

  Friday, I did something really stupid, I was trying to tube allows you to download and what happened when I tried to delete my video files was that they would not remove when I had enough, anyway I got safely Dell and pressed a button and then my computer closed for awhile came to ask me if I wanted to save the old files or another option , what I hit, it stopped again for a few minutes came back to the top and told me to enter a new name and a password, now I can't get into my old files, videos, photos, but my computer still seems that it's all there, can someone help me?   Thank you Denise Nelson,.
