  In our database, we have the following settings for caching the result:

  result_cache_max_result integer 5

  result_cache_max_size great whole 256256 K

  result_cache_mode chain MANUAL

  result_cache_remote_expiration integer 0

  But we use indicators no results hidden in questions, or tables that are enabled for result caching.

  So from my understanding, caching the result should not happen.

  But we met a performance problem, and when I checked the AWR report I found this:

  However, just set result_cache_max_size = 0 fixed to all our questions. Wait no more. Performance as expected.

  But how is that possible? I thought with result_cache_mode = manual and not using indicators of result cache or table modes,.

  There should be no result at all caching? Any max_size choose?

  As shown in table 15-3 there are ONLY two settings: MANUAL and FORCE. No adjustment said ANYTHING on toggle or if the cache is ENABLED or DISABLED.

When caching SELECT statements that call functions, result cache dependencies of data for PL/SQL functions and titles of database objects. However, if the function uses the data that are not followed (such as sequences, SYSDATE , SYS_CONTEXT and package variables), uses the cache of result on queries that call this function can produce stale results. In this regard, the behavior of the cache of result is identical to the caching of PL/SQL functions. So always consider the accuracy of the data, as well as performance, if you choose to activate the result cache.

  But if all associated sections are interpreted in their context, it should clear up the misunderstanding.

  If you have a support contract, you can submit a request to have the documentation changed to update mode setting (table 15-3) article to explicitly declare the parameter mode does NOT determine if the cache is enabled or not.

  This is probably caused by the shoppingcartsummary module.

  Whenever you have it, this page will not be cached for obvious reasons, and working up the browser wants to redo the JOB and warns you

  Turn it off in the... search results page and use the liquid instead.

  I have a problem with my table of waveform:

  The length of the history of the chart I updated 5 X 24 X 60 X 60 = 432 000 comments. I draw a new point in all the 1 minute, so that I can preview as the last 5 days. The problem is, when I'm just trying to export to Excel, the data for the chart, the data are not in the order time (if I export the data to the Clipboard, it is all the same). The data starts with the second day. And Yes, before I export data, the x-axis are configured to be autoscaled, so I don't see 5 days together data curves. But after export, in the table opening Excel (2010 office, LabView 2011, silver chart) the data are really mixed upward...

  Anyway, the workaround is simple: 2 clicks in Excel and it puts the data in order, but I'm curious to know why it happens... I guess I'm doing something wrong with the berries of waveform of construction?

  as far as I know, it was a change in the interface ActiveX of Office 2007 to Office 2010.

  You wouldn't have this bug in Exel 2007.

  Try to use the the VI 'Export waveforms to spreadsheet' or if you use a PDM file.

• Drawn transparencies & style graph problem (related map)

  Summer hit my head against a wal with this all morning. I hope one of you can help.

  I need to replace parts of a map - it ' slot machines and a lot of forms representative of the buildings. The original file has forms of transparent traces (see illustration below). It's fine, because the Center must be eliminated (there are some elements which sometimes reflected below).  I thought I would try to create a graphic style to replicate the look as closelty as possible, but I can't get a fill to act as a knockout - so I got the basic shape and the effect I want, but with a center of color instead of a hit-out. It is a problem because I can change dozens of forms and I don't want to have to manually recreate the look on each form.

  Here is a picture to help clarify. The original is on the left, my attempt at recreation is on the right. Help!

  Bring your item to 100% opacity; then, with the selected object in the appearance Panel select the white fill. Set its opacity to 0% in the transparency Panel.

  The third screen shot in your last post shows opacity: other Options, showing this piercing group selected summer, i.e. what Mike was talking about everything. It is a change, not a new element of opacity in the list. Setting the opacity of the white fill to 0% indicates a new item of opacity under this fill.

  Here is an example I did. There are currently three countries with three years by country, but you don't need to change anything for the addition of countries or years. I asumed that the number of years would be constant for all countries. You may need to tweak it a bit to match your XML structure. I hope this helps and best wishes with your new baby.

• On Google, Ffox 3.6.12 shows only 10 results even when I specify 100; Mac G4 10.4.11. other browsers show 100 without problem.

  On my Mac G4 two-way to 1.25 GHz Power PC with OS X 10.4.11 and Firefox 3.6.12, when I opened Google and specify 100 results like this...

  .. .it always shows just 10 results. While Opera and Safari (I don't use Internet Extorter) show 100 results no problem to use this URL.

  Problem was occurring at least since Firefox 3.6.9 if I remember correctly. Not sure if it was going on before that.

  Google has recently made a few changes on the site to Google search with the addition of instant search and who made the adjustment of the number of results in the settings of Google to stop working.

  If Instant Search is enabled in the settings of Google search page (link at the top right) then you get only 10 results.
  
  You must disable Instant Search and reload the result page, and then set the number of results to your preferred choice.
  
  It may not work if you change both at the same time.

  There is a link directly to the right of the Google search box on the Google results page.

  It's a button with a drop-down list: moment is On / Off.

  There is also a radio check box in the page settings of Google, which has replaced the previously used Suggestions.
