In fact, it isn't. But I would like to know if changing this setting would affect other recognition apps (including mobile galleries) of the date that the photo was taken. I fear that some photos can be sorted incorrectly, especially in mobile applications.

I am running Windows 7. When I use Windows Explorer to look at the properties of the photo file, I can use the 'right click' and choose 'properties '. In the 'Détails' tab, look at the different dates, and you can see that the "date taken" is recorded in the Solution Explorer. This means that other software can share this information. What is misleading, it is that by default, i.e. "date taken" does not appear by default in Solution Explorer. Just like the keywords tags, you add this column to the screen. It is not clear in the Organizer, where you are shown the different dates in the catalog, but also the dates read from the image files...

  • Lack of photos, records, stories, flags...

I just opened LR to do some work and some of the photos that I had imported disappeared.  A few days ago everything was fine.

I have pictures stored in 3 places: 1) on the hard drive of my laptop 2) & 3) on portable hard drives.  All images on one of the Portable HD are very good.

I had this problem once before long ago when I put the cable to one of the HD in another USB plug, but now I have a sticker on my computer with the HD listed so I always put the caps in the same locations.

When I open LR today in the library on the left side, I see the hard drive, but there is none of the images or files under.  I tried to import the images once again, but for each image, all the stories, the flags and the chimneys have gone.

I have 2 recent backup catalogs, so I tried to open the back ups, but they are the same, the images do not appear under this hard drive and if I try to re - import the images, the RAW files look like they did when I imported all first, I know that images must be black and white are in color , images I have previously cropped to be square are now showing that they were when I took the picture.

These images are those of my "portfolio" and I have more than 2500 images in there that were in various stages of development.  I have idea of going back through them and developing them again is simply impossible.

If anyone can tell me how to recover everything that I'd be so grateful,

    Thank you

    Rebecca

Re-imported images are not a problem. Once the appropriate drive letters are assigned outside two readers of all the image files 'original' will be 'reconnect' inside LR. Assignment of drive letters will also help prevent it happening again. The re-imported images are duplicates of LR and not necessary.

  • Need to filter PCD or converter to open files of old photo record

Is there a converter file or filter to open the old photo CD files.

Some files are in PCD format and some files are PCT/Quickdraw

The PCD files can be converted with the best Image Converter XV of Apple Store but the resolutions seem low.

The QuickDraw (a type of Pict) image can be opened in preview but only exported in pdf format which, in turn, need another conversion jpg or tif.

Photoshop seems to have abandoned in favour of these two formats.

Unfortunately, I have a few hundred of these files.

  • Need help with photos

How can I find the appropriate folder for download on a Page I manage?  Photos current pictures but when I download it is records, I can't open, review or post.  Thanks for any help.  I searched some tutorials help with photos, records and others, and I'm struggling with something that used to be so easy?  Thanks again!

    Hi Brandi Jo,.

To access the photos you want to put on your page, you want to export from the Photos app. Select the photos, go to file > export > export x pictures. Enter the details of your export, and then click export. Choose a location and click the export again. Once exported, you can use all of the tools you want to use for downloading your page.

Some sites such as Vimeo or Flickr, allow you to export directly from Photos. Select the photos you want, go to the file menu > share > select the service you are exporting to and complete the export.

    Good luck.

    Note:

It is recommended that you back up your Lightroom catalog before you continue.

    • Select "Import iPhoto Library" or "Import library opening."

    • Your iPhoto or Aperture library will be detected automatically. You have the option to select another library, as appropriate.

  • Lightroom 5.5 - "Edit in Photoshop" now records to a new folder instead of same subfolder

    Hi guys!

After the upgrade to Lightroom 5.4 5.5, when I choose now to change a photo using "Edit in Photoshop", then make a few changes and saving, photos record is no longer in the same folder Lightroom. Instead, they record in a folder named the same way * outside * the main photo directory I.

For example, I currently have my photos in "2014", then a subfolder called 'landscapes '.

Before, I used to edit photos in Photoshop would be saved in the same subfolder 'Landscapes' minus '2014'.

Now, photos are saved in a * new * "landscapes folder that is located in the same main directory like '2014"! "

How do I go back to have saved in the subfolder?

    Thank you!

Please see screenshot below - Lightroom has created a new folder "Clara & Central James" in the main directory outside of the folder "2014".

    OK, FINALLY SOLVED THE PROBLEM.

What I did uninstall Lightroom and move the catalog file to another folder.

Reinstalled Lightroom and tested a file to make sure that the change has worked... (makes).

Then copied the catalog file to the Lightroom folder and deleting the newly created catalog.

I can't explain why it works, but he did it for me, after a month of agony.

I hope this helps someone else out there who has the same problem.

  • How much slowing down video of slow mo?

    Hey everybody,

I'm trying to understand the function of slow-mo of the iPad 2 a little better.

I see that he shoots at 120FPS from the apple site:

    http://www.Apple.com/UK/iPad-air-2/specs/

Anyone know what rate it plays back videos in? I'm figuring how much it slows the video so if you know that, it would also be useful.

    Thank you

    Joseph

The user guide. Normal is 30 images/s, slo - mo is 120 FPS so I would say it's the quarter speed.

    "Shoot video.

With camera, you can record videos, including videos of idle and accelerated.

Record a video. Select the video, and then press the save or press a volume button, to start and stop recording. You can choose to capture 720 p or 1080 p at 30 fps (frames will Flash). You can also capture 1080 p at 60 frames per second and 4K video at 30 frames per second video on iPad Pro (9.7 inches). To change the settings for video recording, go to settings > camera & photo > video recording.

Take it slow. (Pro, iPad 2 Air, mini iPad iPad 4) Choose the Slo - mo to capture video of idle at 120 frames per second. Later, when you change the video, you can simply set a part of it to read at idle, and the rest reads at normal speed. On iPad Pro (9.7 inches), you can choose between 120 fps and 240 frames per second. To change the settings of Slo - mo, go to settings > camera & photo > recording Slo - mo. »
