• AppleTV is sharing all of my iPhone photos and not my album shared?

  My model A1625 AppleTV running 9.2.1 and I am logged into my iCloud account and you want to simply display the photos uploaded to an album shared with iCloud photo library, which is turned on. This shared album works really because I'm interested in it through the Photos app on my iPhone and also to access the shared album on an old AppleTV running an older operating system (not even sure what version).   In Media Center, I like the way you create slideshows by simply adding images in the folder.  Why can't I add a small video file to play as well?  With cameras of today in a position to take pictures and videos, it would be nice to be able to combine the two types of files in a folder and make them play together in the show. For example, on vacation I take 200 photos and 50 short videos with my camera.  I then download all these files (photos and videos) in a folder called 'Vacation2013 '.  Then, I want to be able to select this folder in Media Center, they are the piece of photos and videos.

  You can do it in Google's Picasa.

  I know that I can use Movie Maker or some other video editing/creating software to combine photos and videos in a video and then have Media Center play video.  But I don't want to do that.

  I tried to import and organize all my old photos and videos by date with LR5. They have been backed up and copied several times over the years, most recently on an external drive last week. Thus, each file has a 'creation date' last week. But 'change' is the date recorded.

  It's not bad for pictures with a good EXIF "date taken" - but LR5 resembles the "creation date" for videos, making it completely useless to organize them into folders based on date. He puts videos I recorded in 2010 (in accordance with the "modification date") in a case 2014-12. Why.

  I'm trying to free up storage on my iPhone 6 more running iOS 9.3.1. Photos is empty. Recently deleted photos is empty. Photos is disabled in settings > icloud > photos. The rockers are disabled in the settings > photos and camera. But its still appearing as using 440 MB of storage in the photo library and 30.6 MB in shared photo streams.

I spent several hours on the plane with photo editing about 700 photos on my iPad (2nd gen, 8.2), organizing into folders, thinking that they would be synchronised as magically to iCloud, from there to my iMac 5K (10.10.5) and other devices (macbook pro, 10.10.3). I tried setting up shared folders, but Photos seems to want to transfer only one both to a shared folder (selfs in the phase 'preparation photos' and I gave all night). I know that I'm not using the last iOS, but given the slowness, the iPad has become after 7 to 8 v. v. irreversibly moved, I'm unwilling to try an another upgrade.

  I've seen other post of similar questions, but did not see satisfactory answers. Any who would care share ideas?

  You have IOS 8.3- system requirements for iCloud - Apple Support and if you use iCloud library then it's entirely automatic - it can be slow but is automatic and will come - keep the iPad on the internet and plugged

  I understand you want to keep everything in order when it comes to your photos on your iPhone and iPad. I have two suggestions that will be of assistance in the form of use iCloud for help.

  The first suggestion would be to use iCloud photo library. This will keep your entire collection of photos and put them in iCloud. Any changes on a single device, will appear on all devices. This will count for your iCloud storage space but I recommend you look at the FAQ page in the first link for more details.

  The next option would be to use iCloud, photo sharing. You can create an album that will be synced across all devices and it does not count towards your storage to iCloud.   Did you run your antivirus as well as any spyware removal?  As davidhk requested, then you are able to turn sharing off the coast, but it just doesn't work?   I suggest creating a new folder and move the data, and then see if other users are still able to view these.

  In general, I would recommend sRGB, if images must be consulted on the screens of TV or PC monitors. sRGB is usually the universal profile for sharing photos on the web. If you want to share your images on a single disc, most of the people will see their best, without changes in color, with an sRGB profile.

  So it really depends on your goal. You use a player for sharing and viewing on backup and storage devices.
