  I tried both ways. Insofar as one being more "accurate" as the other is concerned, I don't think that there is no measurable difference. I created a panorama of (12) 24 MP Raw files. My computer has only 8 GB of RAM. In my view, that the panorama is created more quickly using Lightroom, because it there was only one program in question that left more RAM available to perform the treatment. An advantage of using Lightroom or camera raw to create the panorama, it's that the panorama file that results is recorded as a DNG file. If you use a camera that has several profiles such as camera vivid, standard camera, landscape, describe, etc. on the panorama switching profiles will affect the image. Photoshop will create a TIF or PSD, so you won't have the ability to switch profiles.

  Having said all that, I think that the best thing for you to do is to experiment and decide for yourself.

  Certainly a noob here, but I try to understand what I can do differently to mix successfully 8-10 JPEG files using the photomerge feature. The photos are aerial stills of a mall on the roof, shooting with a quadcopter to 125' above that surface. My altimeter varies only about a foot that I place the helicopter overlapping stills of the roof surface, but Photoshop produces a composite image that has geometric distortion and layers incongruous way.

  Interesting.  I flew the helicopter again and took a new series of photos of the same altitude, but this time in vertical mosaic, with probably 30 to 40% overlap, and Photoshop seemed to love working with these images better. In fact, I thought that I would get the poor image quality, there are winds of 15 to 20 kt when I flew; Maybe I'm just lucky stumbling. This merger is 6 images and Ps not create geometric distortion / misplaced layers that happened when I made a merger of the two horizontal and vertical images.

• Why Photomerge is not saving edited photo?

  Hi Please help if you can. I use Photoshop elements 13 on Windows 10 and after that I have change a photo in Photomerge Groupshot and press DONE, the photo is not saved anywhere. I tried this 6 times. Help, please.

  Please reset your preferences to photoshop elements. To do this:

  1. in Photoshop Elements, go to Edition-> Preferences-> General

  2. click on the button "reset preferences on the next launch. See the screen capture attached below.

  3. click on the Ok"" button.

  4 restart the application.

  5. now, try Photomerge Groupshop

  Please reset your preferences to photoshop elements. To do this:

  (1) press on and hold down cmd + option + shift on MAC (Alt + Ctrl + Shift on win).

  (2) open the Photoshop elements Editor.

• Layers in Illustrator CC2015

  Hello!

  I have a question that I can't, for the life of me, find the answer to!  I hope someone here can help you.

  With the help of Illustrator CC2015 to perform a work of master in layers... the layers capture all forms of each layer instead of each form on its own layer.  The layers are then producing many sublayers.

  I usually use CS6, so if this is something new in the CC2015, can someone please help?

  I would like to download the file, but don't see any widget to do.

  Judging by your screenshot it is assumed that you did drag (hand) layer 2 layer 1, so it became a sublayer of layer 1.

  This is normal behavior because the subshells have been introduced in Illustrator 9.

  If you just want to go square pink rounded on 1 layer without making a new sublayer, you would either increase first layer 2, select its contents (subject) and drag it on layer 1. Or do you simply drag the selection box on the right of the target on layer 1 circle.

  I have 200 photos that I am trying to merge.  The content is a scene of fire with difficult to link elements.  Most of the photos have merged automatically, but there are a few sections that did not.  How can I manually help PS to see the commonalities in the images.  There is no help for manual photomerge.

  Honestly... everything works fine for me in your wisdom brainless you decide to provide an update that erases all my 3rd party software PAID for, why and older versions of 2014 and 2015!

  I'm on a new iMac, El Capitan, using CC2015.5.1 and I can not do Select and hide the work at all.

  I make my selection as usual and click on Select and mask. The good screen comes up and I can change the sliders, but the new tools of additional selection on the left don't do anything.  And when I choose an outing, I went back to my image, but else nothing happens at all.  Output selection reminds me of my image, no selection.  Out again layer with mask gives me another copy of my image with a white layer mask - like I had done no selection at all. I have seen that a minor update - 2015.5.1 - had been released that fixes a few bugs, but it did nothing at all for me. I looked in preferences to see if there is something that must be enabled (or disabled) and the reset tool.
