  I just install EP 15. I want to extract a person from a photo and place them in another. Video, I seem to want access to access the installation of Photomerge.   Please reset your preferences to photoshop elements. To do this:

  (1) press on and hold down cmd + option + shift on MAC (Alt + Ctrl + Shift on win).

  When I try to use the photomerge tool in Photoshop CS6, an incredibly long error message that I have to force quit photoshop to get rid of. The only help that I could find online suggests that I have uninstall and reinstall photoshop, but I don't have serial number or proof of purchase for the soft, so I don't want to / can not do this. Can someone help me solve this problem?

  You can insert the installation disk, run the installer and see if there is a repair option once the original installation is detected.

  Check if you have customized the menu shortcuts then you will see: display all menu items

  This could be a graphic driver problem. Check to make sure that they are up-to-date.

  Back to the Photomerge problem, do you have Camera Raw installed 9.1.1? This is the latest version. Also, you might try file > Scripts > load files into stack. Once loaded, run Auto Align and Auto Blend manually.

  ICH besitze PES 10: Die program function bis auf das Photometge Panoramen. Wenn ich dieses Öffnen möchte kommt eine Fehlermeldung. «Adobe Photoshop element10 works nicht mehr» ICH habe das Programm x - mal neu installed, habe ich das Programm downloaded, ohne Erfolg alles neu auch!

  the solution is I think, remove the bridge and CC, re install them again

• Photomerge/Panorama is grayed out in Photoshop elements 12

  The only selection that is grayed out in Photomerge is Panorama.  I'll try to put together two images of a page of the book of Records.

  Make sure that your Expert mode, then Panorama shouldn't be greyed out.

  

• Problems with Photomerge - HELP Please!

  Hi everyone - I really hope you can help me here. I am trying to create a composite image along several other images. Sounds like a panorama, no? Well well, close, but not exactly. My photos (I'm a marine biologist) are of the ocean floor and all images have a chain or transect tape measure in them. The photos are taken separate images along the string or Ribbon, and now I'm trying to merge them into a single image of long who has the length of the Strip or the string through it. When the pictures were taken there is a lot of overlap (we usually look for a feature like a big sponge or something to include and use as a reference point).

  The problems I run into when I use photomerge are:

  (1) it is not merge all of them into a series, but gives me up to four "fixed" on a background

  (2) I don't know how to move the images around me for the best alignment (in some cases, its perfect, in many others, not so much)

  So, I can add them a facility in time? Can I move the images for the best alignment? Can I use the photomerge automated at all?

  Suggestions please! This chapter of my doctoral thesis little depends on it! Thank you!

  Looks like the algorithm has enough to work with. The general rule is that you need 40% between individual frames.

  And you need distinct features. Sand or mud will probably not work.

  I try to manually align in a first time - just stack them, reduce the opacity as needed and use the move tool or move with the arrow keys. The trick is to move, then go to Image > reveal all to extend the canvas as you go. Double-click the base layer to turn it into a floating layer, so that you do not get the solid background color on the extended canvas. Return all the opacities to 100%.

  This could help first "horizontalize" (Yes, it's a neologism) the rule in each image.

  Once you have essentially set up, make a copy and try editing > automatic alignment. This is the first step in the Photomerge script. If it works, run automatic merging - this is the second and last step.

  If automatic alignment does not work, you will need to finish manually. But you can still run the auto-merge to merge.

  I tried both ways. Insofar as one being more "accurate" as the other is concerned, I don't think that there is no measurable difference. I created a panorama of (12) 24 MP Raw files. My computer has only 8 GB of RAM. In my view, that the panorama is created more quickly using Lightroom, because it there was only one program in question that left more RAM available to perform the treatment. An advantage of using Lightroom or camera raw to create the panorama, it's that the panorama file that results is recorded as a DNG file. If you use a camera that has several profiles such as camera vivid, standard camera, landscape, describe, etc. on the panorama switching profiles will affect the image. Photoshop will create a TIF or PSD, so you won't have the ability to switch profiles.

  Having said all that, I think that the best thing for you to do is to experiment and decide for yourself.

• Photomerge freezes

  I use photoshop CC 2015, version 2015.1.2, 20160113.r.355 x 64 on windows 10. The last few days, I get an update to Camera Raw. Now, I tried to create a panorama with photomerge function. I select the images and start the process. But then, photoshop crashes. I get the message "Selected Ebenen ausrichten Inhalt nach" (in English: align selected layers or more), but nothing else happens. Photoshop uses 50 to 100% of CPU power, but nothing happens for hours.

  

  Before the update to Camera Raw, everything works fine.

  I tried the same process on photoshop cs 5.1 to check, if I have a problem within windows. But the panorama is calculated in minutes.

  What can I do?

  Disabling gpu doesn't change anything.

  I think I found the solution.

  The reinstallation of photoshop photomerge function works as usual. After changing the cache level to big photomerge (2) doesn't work anymore. New setting of the cache to normal (4) level and it works.

  So I think that a level 2 cache is the problem. In the previous version this parameter was no problem, but now it doesn't work anymore.
