  In general, I would recommend sRGB, if images must be consulted on the screens of TV or PC monitors. sRGB is usually the universal profile for sharing photos on the web. If you want to share your images on a single disc, most of the people will see their best, without changes in color, with an sRGB profile.

  So it really depends on your goal. You use a player for sharing and viewing on backup and storage devices.

  My wife spent several hours / days keep our iPhoto library, then pictures updated with the titles and descriptions of the image.  Today, she went to work on some photos and noticed that all "titles" for a picture of October 2015 and more had only numbers of images where the title is supposed to be.  Nothing has changed the way she goes about adding titles, etc..  That's happened?  Is there a way to retrieve this information?  I have a significant other very angry.

  You can't and can never change how to drag and drop work - if you hold down the option key by dragging and dropping a picture, you will get the unmodified original or are you export the unmodified original, you will get it

When I have the cursor on the picture, it reads the file of Type: THM. I'm sure that if I was able to change it by mistake, I should be able to restore somehow. Please help me.

  I am brand new with Windows 7.  I need to know how to sort a folder of photos by date taken, is not updated.  I took a series of photos that I need to see in chronological order, as taken and renaming.  I have watch preview by clicking on file, properties, general and rebaptized.  As soon as I rename them, they are sorted in the order of name.  I need the file to be in date-order.  These photos are of cemetery stones, so I need to visualize large enough to read the stones and rename photos with the name on the stone.  Sometimes, there is a rock or illegible stone and I would like to know which stone was on each side of it.  Thank you.

  In the last two months, I've faced a weird problem with my photo files. Each file made / saved will be named with the extension. jpg.rem

  Since then, I can't front/send my photos through any media IE. BBMessenger, group e-mail chats, etc.

  I tried changing the extension manually but rejected by the system.

  What actually happens? And how it can be fixed pls?

  Don't worry, you already enabled file encryption and you cannot view the file on any other device other than your own. Go to options > security options > encryption, and then select Disable from the menu drop-down

• While working in the Live moving photos to a new folder Photo Gallery, I changed accidentally something that caused the list of folders to the left of the screen to disappear

  Move the cursor of the mouse on the left side of the window. You will see a line from the top to the bottom of the screen. There is a blue arrow in the center of the line. You can click on the blue arrow or drag the line to the right to view the Navigation pane with files.

  For the Ribbon toolbar, look on the left side of the title bar where it shows the Windows Photo Gallery. Click on the arrow down on the Quick Access toolbar and remove the check mark to reduce to a minimum the Ribbon option.
