  The image, functionality, like many others, sharing only is not supported on Skype for Linux. What is supposed to happen, it is that you should be able to click the link, log on the Skype Website and see the picture there. At present, there seems to be problems even with this system. This post and this one could help.

  If it's easier, you can also use Skype to the Web to share your photos. Sharing of images works properly in that (i.e., without having to click on a link to go to it and the picture you end up with is the original size).

  For the last two weeks, I can't understand where the photos, I get on Skype, click on my computer. When I Skype my mother, she always sends me pictures she takes. Photos downloaded, but I can't find them. They used to go in a certain folder, but they are no more.

  With the latest versions of Skype, (.jpg, .png) image files are saved in the folder media_cache of Skype.

  Go to start Windows and in the search/Run box type %appdata%\skype and then press enter or click the OK button. Appears in Windows Explorer. Here, look for a folder named as your Skype name. Open this folder. Here you will see a folder named media_messaging and in this case the media_cache folder where the images are auto-sauvé.

  After the images are saved in this folder, you can do a right click on the preview of the image, select Save as and save the file in a folder of your choice.

• MacBook Pro retina FaceTime Camera out of alignment / biased?

  I recently had the screen of my retina Pro Macbook (13 inches, end 2013) replaced a program of quality of Apple due to the wear anti-reflective coating.  However, because the repair was completed, I've noticed that the FaceTime camera is out of alignment and/or biased.  In other words, I have to move the computer a lot so that my face is centered on the screen.  This problem exists no matter how soft, I use (photo booth, Skype, FaceTime, etc.).

  Does anyone have experience with this problem and how to fix?  Thanks in advance.

  To not seem 'smart' here, but I guess that's an issue for outlook.com support team, as this happens when you use their service, Skype s.à.r.l (Skype company) as far as I know no influence on its operation.

  1. Download latest Skype (or reinstall)

  2. Download latest IE (Edge)

  3 reset all settings / remove all your cache

  4. make sure that you use Skype even on both sides

  So now, I have the latest IE Windows, latest Skype, (Edge) and last nerve ventilation!

  As it becomes really VERY annoying problem. I hv summer use Skype for many years in my company, but we are seriously looking for alternatives now, as Skype is more and more problems, more it becomes bloated.

I recently upgraded to Skype and never sicnce I updated, I'll have the persistent problem of which is when im in a group with several people call, when people join the appeal it does display all contact with the images that are currently in the appeal / joined the call. This a problem that I see that people have joined in the call and who do not have.
