  Hello, I know how to do the Ken Burns effect in first, but don't know what to do with the images that are smaller then 1920 x 1080 sizes.

  They are photos of the 60' and 70's and if I blow up picture size or to do the Burns effect, they are falling apart.

  I see people using photos really very old that look always good.

  How can I put them when they are low resolution or more small size?

  If the images are old, then their existence as a real film prints.

  Rescan them at a higher resolution.

  Organize files the way you want and go to... Edition / select all.

  Right-click the photo 'first' the selected (highlighted)
  Group and from the menu choose... Name change.

  For the first name... Come in...

  Summer vacation (10001) .jpg

  (Yes... Use parentheses and start the number with a 1)
  (If you want to add a descriptive title to batch... Leave a
  space after the last letter and before the first parenthesis)

  Press on... Enter and Windows renames the remaining photos...

• Failure to burn Photos to cd/DVD to cd/dvd

  Work on MacMini (mid-2010) using OX 10.11.5 & trying to place hundreds of photos on cd/dvd. Created the album in the Photos App & placed pictures in the album and record folder on the desktop. Machine load to burn the album on the disk in the Finder menu.  Place the dvd + R (4.7 GB) in the optical drive. Message received 1: the disc can't be burned because an unexpected error occurred (error Ox8002006E). I tried with the cd - rw (700 MB) and the message received 2: communication error (error code Ox8002022). Suggestions?

  Which means no pictures - once you export photos (menu, file == > export) to a Photos folder is out of the loop: it's either a problem of system (ask in the forum for your operating system) or a hardware problem (ask your material in the forum)

• cannot burn cd in windows photo gallery

  I have a problem with the windows photo gallery. I can burn an audio cd or data cd in microsoft office etc but I can not burn photos to a cd by using windows photo gallery or kodak easy share.

  It is not an issue that will be fixed anytime soon.

  Use windows Explorer and drag and drop, or copy - paste the E-drive list or continue using office.

  Is there a mistake?

  Burning options are under the dark blue, point to burn file button, click on burn data, have you tried to use dvd - R discs?

  Or right click and select format on the cd, it will erase all information may be corrupt disk along with all files so if they are not empty do not, unless you want to recycle the discs.

• iCloud-photo library: only use it as backup?

  I finally got serious about my photo library to backup to the cloud. Because I have Apple products, it seems that iCloud photo library would make the most sense. And with the recent drop in prices, it is now affordable.

  But here's what I can't determine after reading articles: I don't really have interest in what my library that is available to me through devices. My interest in iCloud is simply as a back-up for my photos, in case my house burns down. Can I then turn on iCloud photo library for Photos on my Mac, but leave it for my iPhone and iPad? My concern is that even an optimized thumbnail for almost 15 years of images would take too much memory on my mobile. I'd rather keep manually import the photos that I take on my iPhone for pictures with sync and let the pics to save them from there.

  I have about 2400 photos taken several years to put on CD.  I know that all of the processes involved.  The problem is management of the distribution of the pictures on the CD.

  Each CD might hold 700 MB of data, which is a variable number of images.  I did a single folder on the desktop and pictures of 2400 exported in a.  Then, I created a number of cases of burn on the desktop.  Now, I need to select and drag the photos on CD.  Track of what photos have been selected and transferred is the problem.

  Most CD software will automatically request an extra disk to be inserted if the selection isn't in great shape. In other words, you don't need to split the file with all the pictures on them in subfolders first.

  I enjoy make slideshows of my photos and movies, to be burned on a DVD as a copy permanent display anywhere.  So far I have had good success.  It of some time I did a modified project and have since upgraded from iPhoto for pictures.  Now my browser of media in iDVD will not show Photos.  There is also no update to iDVD, make it compatible to the latest photo software.

  It is unlikely that iDVD will be updated.  It has not yet been updated for the release of iLife 11, several years ago.

  You can still use iPhoto, if you update to version 9.6.1.  You can then import the photos that you want to use with iDVD, iPhoto.  Or export the photos of Photos in a folder in the Finder.

  You can also create slideshows and export them in a video of pictures, then import this video in iDVD to burn the disc.

  If you export the slideshow as a video, using the button export, text slide should show in the video. Check the video rendering and play only once, before your burn it.  Sometimes, the background music will be missing.

  To burn CD/DVD images:

   

  Method 1:

   

  1. Insert a writable CD or DVD CD writer or DVD in your computer.
  2. In the dialog box that appears, click burn files to data disc.
  3. In the dialog box burn a disc , type a name for this disc, and then click Next.

  It can take several minutes for the drive to be formatted in the active file system format by default. When formatting is complete, an empty disc folder opens.

  1. Windows Photo Gallery by clicking on the button Start , allprograms, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.
  2. Select the pictures and videos you want to copy to the disc. To select multiple items, hold down the CTRL key while you click the files you want.
  3. Drag the selected photos and videos from Photo Gallery into the empty disc folder.

  When you drag files to the disc folder, they are copied to the disc

  Method 2:

  1. open Windows Photo Gallery

  2. Select the photos you want to transfer to CD.

  3. after clicking on the file, the photos will appear to the right of the list. Now press Ctrl, click the photos you want to transfer. Once you are sure to have all the photos selected, click on the "burn" "" option on the toolbar at the top of the window.

  4. When you click on the "burn" icon, there will be two choices that fall down below. One is "data disk" or "DVD-video" select "data disc.

  5. a window pop up and you ask to insert a disc. After loading the disc, click again on the "burn". The program will start to transfer the file to the disc.

  6. the session will be closed until the CD can be ejected from the car. Look and make sure that there is a command prompt or the window that appears explaining this process. If this is not the case, when the CD is ejected, the pictures will not be on that.

• Remove gray viewer Photo rotation. Off

  Just bought this computer with win 7 and photo viewer.

  My photos are on the cd that I have found my problem.

  I used the method where I go to properties, click general tab then uncheck Read-only. I just got back from photo and spin. Box comes up saying I need administrator permissions. Click ok and another box says there is a problem and can not do.

  I really don't want to copy it to computer edit and burn another disc.

  Yes, you must copy the photos on the CD and burn on CD, unfortunately. However, if you move photos from one place to the other, wouldn't not easier to have stored them on a USB key?

• CD burner Burns not... need the firmware update.

  I'm running Windows 7 on a Dell Inspiron 1440, my CD burner has stopped working. I successfully burned a CD today (with photos), but suddenly, it cannot burn any CD more and offers that I might need to update my "firmware". What can I do?

  CD players provided with the computer can / specialized ENGINE "firmwares" directly from the machine system.  Check the Dell website, if your computer is "classified" for Windows 7.  Then, check the availability of the firmware.

  If Dell not provided an update of the firmware and your computer is capable of running Windows 7 officially, you can be lock and the CD (DVD?) is "dead".
