  I learned that a forum - an area in which I never dared before - is my ONLY option.  Even though I remember receiving a lot of emails about CC - I was very happy with my existing Photoshop and still haven't use iCloud.

  As a 'beginner' complete in this way to get an answer, please help.

  Photoshop has been replaced and now to keep my software being installed as redundant?  Is it simply the maintenance being undertaken - and the rejection of serial number simply a warning "generic"?  -Thank you in advance - for any help you can afford me.

  I was not yet looking for Adobe Premiere Elements - waiting for the same print to attract the same rejection of the number.

  You MAY have just run into a case of an old program that will not properly install on a new operating system

  Windows 10 is not really compatible with your version 9

  An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows 10 old... works for some, not for others

  -The icon of the program or EXE file RIGHT click and select a compatibility mode in the pop-up option

  - or run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign permissions Windows COMPLETE can help... said yet, but sometimes it is necessary for all Adobe programs (this is same as using an administrator account)

I like the quick touch-ups and teeth whitening etc I can do in Photoshop elements 9.0, is there a tool similar to Photoshop cs5 extended or Lightroom?  I mean I'm sure you can do something in Photoshop, if you are quite good at this.  But I like that in Photoshop elements 9.0, it includes the dummy version where I point simply to highlight and click.

  1. No, everything should be good.

  2 Lightroom looks more like a very original version of organizer with raw deluxe conversion more. You don't need bridge if you have LR, just as you wouldn't use it not if you use the PS Organizer. The only conflict is that eventually you will want to choose between organiser and LR, but they can both co-exist.

  The biggest advantage to using Photoshop Elements with Premiere Elements is that you can transfer some projects — namely slideshows - from one to the other. In other words, you can start a slide show in Photoshop Elements, and then send it to Premiere Elements for the finishing and DVD release.

  But, if you have CS4, I wouldn't bother with Photoshop Elements otherwise. It will feel like a toy compared to the pro version.

  I finally solved the problem with some Adobe programs starting do not; for example hearing, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro wouldn't start - error (0xc000007b).  Other Adobe programs (AfterEffects, bridge, still and Acrobat DC) started OK.  The solution was to 'Fix' the "redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ programs in the Control Panel - programs and features.  My system has 14 of them with dates from 2005 to 2015.  I have no idea who it was the problem since I have "repaired" all 14 before finding that the Adobe programs would now begin.
