  I have a Dell PC and Windows 10 running.  CC2015 worked fine until today.

  When I launch Photoshop and import a picture the program hangs and I have to Cntr + Alt + Delete to quit the program.

  so I can't use Photoshop at all at this stage.

  • While holding the SHIFT key, open PS and click Yes at the prompt of
  • Now try to open a file and see if that works, otherwise continue to the next step
  • Now, click on edit - preferences - Performance and uncheck CPU chart use
  • Restart PS and check again
  • Try to delete the preferences file
    • To restore preferences quickly by using a keyboard shortcut: press and hold Alt + Ctrl + Shift as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings.

  I just bought the oil paint PS Action modules and I am not able to install it in Photoshop.

  I use Windows and I have the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015 64-bit

  When I try to install Action PS to paint in oil with Adobe Extension Manager, I got an error message.

  I suspect that your problem is that the installer of the action is not compatible with Photoshop CC2015. Modern versions of Photoshop do not use the old Extension Manager and so if the developer has not updated their actions, you will not be able to use them. I tried to find your action but it seems around a bit, but it seemed likely

  I have a simple action to flatten an image resize, sharpen and save it that works well for a long time. Now in Photoshop CC2015 when I try to run the action I get this error message "the image to flatten command is currently unavailable" if I click on continue, the same error pops up listing the next step. Can someone explain how this happens in the clear blue sky? I rewrote the action, and the same thing happens again.

  Try a reset preference:

  Win: Press and hold the keys Ctrl + Alt + Shift immediately after the launch of Photoshop starting. A box will appear asking if you want to continue with the reset, select 'yes '. If you don't see this, you're not fast enough... Try again.

  Mac: Hold down Cmd + Opt + shift and run Photoshop. A box will appear, asking you if you want to continue with the reset, select 'yes '.

  Do Tony Kuyper actions work in Photoshop CC 2015? I've updated since Photoshop CC 2014 and my actions of Tony Kuyper do not appear. I checked the file, and they are where they are supposed to be right, but no joy. Ideas?

  Plugins and Extensions must be updated Photosshop CC 2015 by the manufacturer. This is why they are not migrated in the updates.

• Photoshop CC 2015 does not support the import of videos in my version of Windows

  I have 8.1 Windows Pro installed on my PC and the trial version of Photoshop CC 2015 run but if I try to import and edit a video supposedly supported by the software I get the message "Could not complete your request because PS does not support the video in this version of Windows" edition of videos was one of the reasons I want to use Photoshop.  I can upload a video for editing in Adobe Premiere elements 13 then why he can't edit in Photoshop CC 2015

  What is the video format?   CC 2015 will certainly support video editing point 8.1 of Windows, but not with all formats.  If you have a format that is not supported, then convert to MP4 with brake hand.   It is practically an essential for video editors anyway, as it may low size of the video completed without loss of quality.

• Administrator mode break Photoshop CC 2015 Windows 10

  I've installed a plugin that required me to have the administrator rights for the folder of fonts, one thing is certain, ran photoshop as administrator.

  The problem?

  I could not open any files at all, or drag anything in Photoshop CC 2015, the only thing I can do is to create a new document.
  I thought that this could be a problem with the plugin, so I uninstalled the plugin.
  But running the program as administrator, even with the plugin uninstalled, gives me that circle with a bar indicating I can't drop files here, and I can't open any document at all.

  My windows 10 is freshly installed, legal copy of windows and Photoshop.

  It is a huge problem, any help is appreciated. Someone else has the same problem?

  Hello

  I am one of the developers of Fontea. (The PS plugin that you use)

  Fontea requires administrative privileges on the Windows PC to install fonts. To be clear. The dialog box that requests permissions has nothing to do with Photoshop. Permissions are changed for Fontea internal node server. (Essentially plugin to process that runs on the separate thread)

  As such, it is highly unlikely that install or use the plugin would have an effect on Photoshop itself or its ability to run in administrator mode.

  Even I can't help you with an administrator mode. Is there something you can do Fontea work without raising the plugin.

  You can change permissions of C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts folder to give Users Group a TOTAL CONTROL on this folder. If there is no Fonts file then just create one and give it permissions.

  Basically, it's what we do with elevated permissions. After you do this and then run Photoshop new Fontea will check if the file is writable, and if it is the administrator command prompt will be ignored and the plugin works normally.

  I wanted to know if the Plugins like Cup & cut my PNG Express or any other 3rd party plugins can be installed and if it is compatible with Photoshop CC 2015.

  The Extension handler code moved into the creative Cloud Desktop application.  There are the old managers of extension for the 'old' versions of Photoshop.  Adobe wants new modules to add their way through their web application Menu > help > Browse Add-ons. The creative Cloud Desktop application is also punished to run.  It's ridiculous he must condition thing way Adobe and wait for approval from Adobe for your add-on to be accepted and waiting for approval from Adobe for updates of your module.  Add-ons - may need to be updated when Adobe makes changes to Photoshop you'll need to do, then wait for Adobe to accept the update.

  There are third-party installers Photoshop Extension available on the web, you can download and use to try and install the old Photoshop CC 2015 extension extensions may not work with the changes that adobe has made to the CC 2015.  Compatibility issues are not rare. ZXPInstaller

  The good thing is that you can still add you own script and actions without having to wait on approval of Adobe.

  I had a strange problem with a certain brush (size 5px, difficult tour, no shape dynamics, no transfer) in Photoshop CC 2015.1.2.

  It only happens when the drawing very fast on my Cintiq 22HD.

  The problem is PS is a line connecting the start and end of the brush strokes. I don't hold in shift or whatever it is.

  OK, here is therefore an update.

  The problem is not at all with Photoshop or Cintiq, with Windows 10 parameters of the stylus.

  Fortunately, there is a small piece of free software that you can download called "Fix my pen" (by Smith Reddy) which defines the features of Windows Tablet PC in the registry for you (essentially by disabling everything related to it):

  It works fine on Win10 too.

  Now, as my original problem with Photoshop to do a line connecting the start and end of the brush strokes left, however I have another question more small that came after running difficulty my pen. The lines that I draw now are not smoothed by a software more. You can see the difference below.

  

  Fix My Pen sets a lot of things in the registry, but you cannot individually control which setting is disabled. So I guess that one of them is the cause.

  

  I expect response from Smith about it, cause I have no idea who he is.

• Big plunges in preformence after photoshop update 2015.1

  Small question.

  After update 2015.1, I have a big hollow and stalls in performance.

  My macbook pro freezes for 5-15 seconds before returning to normal. Photoshop crashes, it just freezes, I can get some huge spikes in activity monitor just after what is happening.

  During a 7-8 hour work day, its happens about 4 times

  Does anyone else know this?

• Photoshop cc 2015. Photomerge does not open Pentax PEF files in Bridge or Photoshop.

  I use a Mac Pro with El Capitan. It wasn't a problem for me until the last update of photoshop. Pentax PEF files does not open Photoshop CC 2015, Photomerge. I tried to open Raw Pentax PEF files to my 645Z in bridge-tools-photomerge both file-automate-photomerge in photoshop. Neither the program recognizes the Raw PEF file. Instead, I get this message that Photomerge is in need of at least two selected files. The files the other cameras RAW always opens in photomerge.

  Curiously, the Pentax PEF Raw files open in Adobe Raw Converter and open molten at panorama in Adobe's Raw Converter.

  I uninstalled creative cloud including my preferences and reinstalled creative cloud with photoshop and bridge. I have reset the bridge preferences.  I checked under the bridge, Healt folder as photoshop cc is selected for the Raw of Pentax PEF file. None of these actions corrected the problem.

  A solution would be much appreciated.

  Well I finally understood why photomerge did not work on my PEF files. Through a process of elimination, I narrowed the issue down, not a problem in photoshop or bridge, but the way I scored a record believe it or not. When I created and marked a record of a recent meeting of nipples raw files, I added a slash between the digits of the date as this 09/11/15. Once I removed the slashes that everything was back to normal photomerge was able to recognize raw PEF files in this folder.

  For some reason, the slash prevented photomerge to recognize raw files in this folder. Yet these same files could still be addressed to panorama of in camera raw. Go figure.

  I searched for the answer to this problem without success it's just by chance and a lot of reading that made me try to rename the folder up and down. I hope that this solution will help other people who may come across this problem in the future.

  Photoshop CC 2015 is causing huge problems on my iMac 5 K with El Capitan installed. It feels like most of the actions are running with 5 to 10 images by Mithraeum. It's not smooth. Really rough when you try to move objects in a photoshop document.

  Moreover, I need to hold my finger on the left button of the mouse, then release it after 1-2 seconds to get the optional tools like paint bucket, healing brush and other things. Before you installed El Capitan, it was just like this: hold down the mouse button and drag the tool you want to select. This implies a bug.

  Steps to follow:

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"
