Photoshop CC - components of Application in the Application Directory
Hello - I would appreciate help from the Adobe community.
I'm trying to install Adobe Photoshop CC (2015), but continue to receive the error:
"Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, please reinstall the application." whenever I try to launch the app (see screenshot below).
Download / Extraction / installation process runs successfully whenever I have attempt it... I have reinstalled the application six times, as well as followed the instructions to use the Adobe cleaning tool to remove all components of Creative Cloud and redownloaded the creative cloud application as well as the CC of Photoshop...
I restarted my computer every time... still nothing does not.
I looked through the logs in the PDApp.log file and found these two error messages:
[ERROR] | | USS | OPM | P7Native | | | 7372 | OOBElib returned error: 1
[ERROR] | | USS | OPM | CryptEngine | | | 6512. Build failure key3List
System information:
I am running Windows 7 Enterprise - Service Pack 1; 64 bit
Intel i7 - 2640 M CPU @ 2.8GHz
16 GB OF RAM
Version of Adobe Creative Cloud 3.6.0.248
Help, please. Really have no idea what to do next...

I had to do a fresh install of El Capitan and am reinstalling all software (sigh).
My folder is located in a separate DSS (and not on the boot drive). I want to have all my applications in the folder of the startup disk, not in the folder/applications in my home folder.
When I run Photoshop CS6 setup the 'Location' field is set on / applications of the startup disk.
BUT what's really weird is that when I press on install, the software however ends in the folder/Applications my HOME of RECORD page.
What the hell is happening here? I tried three times, thinking at first I just took the wrong folder/applications, but now I see it, it's as if the record of / applications starting is wired into the installer somehow.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions
Philippe
Hi Richard,
In the case of a Mac machine the default location for all applications is Applications folder, if case you want to change this location, you will need to contact the Apple support, as they can help you change the default location.
To check and confirm whether or not it is installed on your boot drive, you can view the Application Support folder of your system library and if you see the folder of Photoshop in there it means that it is installed on your startup disk.
Location: right-click on the icon in the Finder and select the option to ' Go-To ' records. You will get a text box, type in the command below and then press the 'return ':
/ Library (It will open file System Library)
Then go to The Application Support > Adobe
Let us know if that helps.

Made the trail 30 for all applications begin as soon as you download the trial version of the creative cloud? Or the test for Photoshop 30 days begins the day you install Photoshop regardless of when you downloaded the trial version of the creative cloud and installed Lightroom?
It is the date of installation that counts, but sometimes the 30 day trial may finish early, especially if you change something on your system (for example, hardware, clock, etc. system restore).

TENS of installation in the application directory-->; cannot find directory RTE
Hello
I couldn't find an answer of fitting about my problem using search, so I'll try my luck by asking.
First of all: I'm using Labwindows/CVI 8.5
I created an installer for my application using the Distribution Kit Wizard. Under the tab drivers & components I chose only the 'standard Run-Time'.
On the Advanced tab, I left the option "Install Labwindos/CVI Run-Time Engine in the application directory" unchecked.
This installs and works fine at my PC clients.
Now the problem:
My client does not want that all files are installed in the Windows\System32 directory...
So I checked the option "Install Labwindos/CVI Run-Time Engine in the application directory" and created a new installation routine.
This installs fine and the cvirte folder is also be copied into the directory of the specified program and not Windows\System32... but now whenever my client tries to run the application, it gets called with the following messagebox:
Cannot find the directory RTE:
C:\Windows\system32\cvirte
Which is actually very good, because I wanted to RTE must be installed in the folder of my program, but somehow my request is always pointed toward the search in system32.
Is there a way to fix this without copying the RTE in Windows\System32 again?
Given your explanation, I can understand why you see the error message. When you try to locate the resource (bin) and directories of fonts, DLL RTE search in the directory of the process that loaded, then in the system directory. As RTÉ is not installed in one of these locations (instead, it is installed in the same directory as your DLL file), we do not find the directory "RTE". There is nothing particularly wrong with what you're trying to do, except that we can't do well. I'll drop a request to fix this for a future version. In the meantime, you have a few options:
1. let the RTE to install in the system directory, as it normally would.
2. manually copy the directory cvirte of your repertoire of the DLL in the system directory.
3. ask the client install your package DLL in its application directory. The target directory can be changed by the customer at the time of installation.
I know these aren't the major options. I personally highly recommend the first option, despite protests from your customer. Is there a good reason that it is forbidden to use the system directory?

When I click on the download button I get an error message saying "Photoshop is a desktop application, then you'll want to download it from your computer." I can't go ahead with the download. Operating system Windows XP, at startup, I get the message: "Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to initialize the store directory. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full"and displays the error code: 0 x 80007114. (I have a new drive hard with enough space) Outlook Express always open well and functioning normally. The message mentions and how to fix the problem? Thank you, Rick
Jump here (nothing Bruce suggested is false), I did a search and found this old article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/245419), which indicates that there is a bad entry under the identity key in the registry (see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx for background). So if it's a big problem, you can do the steps suggested in this article and that will fix it. Or if you have just one account, then backup your settings and the identity key and then delete the identity key and then start OE and it will establish a new, and you can then set up your account again, and then import the messages from the older directory. But it does not indicate the major corruption, so you can just ignore it.
