Photoshop CC - file damaged with red stripes
Hello everyone
I recently worked on a part of building for my course. I'm almost done, I just wanted to copy some layers in the following file. I noticed that whenever I selected content, I have pasted white fill only who was in a form of content. It was so weird. I tried once more with another layer, but it's the same deal. When I saved the file and it opens again, I got two red strips - one on the left side and the other at the bottom. What more, I can't right-click on layer - simply does not. does anyone have an idea, what is the reason behind this kind of behavior? I would appreciate any response
Chris, it seems to me that there the quick mask, although this would not prevent you clicking / right clicking on the layers. The QM button is active, and the 50% red is typical of QM

Thank you for your response. Now, I found that my problem was actually confused by a number of coincidences.
I install the printer and run test print page & copied from the scanner and printing from an sd card until the problem of the "band" appeared. When I tried to print from a photo already stored on the computer, it was when he showed first really upward. I ran the Print Tool of doctor and no problems have been reported. Similarly, the printed test page seemed ok even though of course only small colored sections there. Finally, after running test after test, the ink ran out and I had to put in a new cartridge - Eureka! problem disappeared.
I find, therefore, that I had a faulty cartridge that was causing the problem. I have since run a photo on the 'best quality' on Photo paper and it looks perfect. The high price of the cartridges, it was a costly exercise, but at least I'm now able to print my photos which is what I bought it for.

Weird red stripes in photoshop CC

All your windows updates are installed? Try to clean the Windows thumbnail species. I think use Adobe the OS dialog for features like open file. Also, to get thumbnails for RAW file PSD files, you will need to install codecs in windows. I use the fastepictureviewer codec package. At the opening of a bridge of fthrough Photoshop file, how can I check which version of Photoshop, the file will open in?
I store my PSD files that is adjacent to the original RAW file which it originates.
If I open the folder and double-click this PSD file, it opens to the CS6. But, if I use the bridge (CS6) for access to and open the same file, it starts by is Photoshop CS5 and then opens this file PSD in CS5.
How can I control which Photoshop will open a file then choose to open it through Bridge?

Look at the PSD file on the location of Curt and Photoshop Document research. Beside him ideally should show Adobe Photoshop CS6 if you have Bridge open CS6. Click to provide the fly on the menu and choose the correct Photoshop from the list.
But probably something went wrong with your installation. By default, Bridge chooses the latest version of PS to open its plug in.
Maybe reset preferences may also help you. Can you provide more details about the version of the OS etc.
And you have a good reason to keep your Raw and finalized in the same place files. Personally I put them aside and use a convention of appropriate filename (YYYYMMDD and details) so I can easily search the DNG files in my archives if I needed, but I don't make mistake by opening a bad

Your PNG file has transparency, which makes it easier.
Open the image in Photoshop
Select the layer of the school > hold down the CTRL key and click the new layer down to the right of the layers panel. This makes the new layer appear below the layer of the school
Select the layer of the school and lock its transparency (immediately after the word Lock icon)
Red make your foreground color and with the school of layer selected, use Alt backspace to fill with red. Because the transparent pixels are locked, only the black box turns red.
Make a new layer on top of the stack.
CTRL a (select all)
Edit > STROKE value inside and set the number of pixels required.
If you want to maintain transparency, save as a PNG. If you are not worried about transparency, save it in JPG format

You have all updates installed cs6? CS6 is very buggy without them. You should be in perpetual perpetual Windows, 13.0.6 Mac 13.0.1.3 or 13.1.2 version subscription CS6. Windows 7 last updated PS CC. Happening since I have updated to 15.5. Right click on a jpg file, open with... Photoshop is longer in the list. I can, find and select photoshop.exe but the file will not open in Photoshop. I also disabled the "always use the selected box...»
I can locate PS and select but it does not open PS I have just crossed my registry and find indicators in the wrong directory for PS cc2015.5. 2015 has been uninstalled when I updated via the Cloud application. Apparently Adobe does too well clean the registry. Will restart and see what happens.
Change all entries in registry for Photoshop CC 2015 to Photoshop CC 2015.5 fixed the problem.

When editing in LR 6 and shipping. RAF (Xpro2) files to Photoshop CC files are in black and white
When editing in LR 6 and shipping. RAF files Photoshop CC files are in black and white. TIFF and JPEG transfer correctly. Here are the files taken with a Fuji XPRO2. Image settings are SRGB and the problem is only with the RAF files and seems to only be affecting the RAF shot down with a XPRO2, XT1 files files are around trigger normally. The root folder becomes bigger and bigger with *.html and *.php files. and sometimes I lose ccontrol of which files go hand in hand.
In Photoshop, you can give layers unique colors, place in a group. Other programs can files marked with flags of different colors, What are the possibilities of Dreamweaver?
To know which files belong together I would like to stay , mark them, as they delay of other files.When I need to edit some files unique, I can quickly see what files go hand in hand.

NEF files are camera raw Nikon. You cannot create new in Photoshop or Camera Raw. You can use NEF files to create photos merged into Photoshop files. If you CC of Photoshop, you can create photos merged into Camera Raw files and then save as DNG files. However, you cannot do it with CS6. You can create files photomerged with CS6 via Bridge or Photoshop.

Sound like you may be using Windows. Please check your windows Photoshop.exe registry key which version of Photoshop is open and edit with? I remember that mine have been updated to 2015 CC but I changed the back ventilated at the 2014 to CC are many bugs in 2015 of CC. I also changed my Windows file associations to open with CC 2014. I left Adobe Bridge file types associations 2015 CC. There are simply too many places in Windows systems which appear to be involved with open with and file Associations.
