  Hi all.

  So I'll start with the basics; I use Photoshop 7 (and Yes, I use it for a reason, I'm not interested in the migration to this jumble of creative cloud new $1000), we Australians get us torn a new and I am happy with the $50 I paid for my copy years ago. (Please don't tell me the solution to my problem is simply to level and go bankrupt. Yet once again, I am using 7 for very long without problem).

  I use the 7 for almost a decade without problem. I stick with it because so far, he has done everything that I need, has been reliable up to this point, and my plugins work correctly with the newer versions. I also use a system more older-spec (Windows XP, 3 GB of ram etc.) I do a lot of work with former game engines, Source engine etc.

  If I click with the right button on any image file in Solution Explorer and click 'Open with-> Photoshop', photoshop will launch, however it does not open the file. I double checked to make sure that the file wasn't just opening offscreen, however it is certainly not opening at all (like the "close" option does not become available).

  If I launch photoshop manually, click on file-> open-> it will open this file, BUT it will not more files open after that.

  She also is very very picky with simple controls, such as if I hit CTRL + T to go in processing mode and then try to resize an image, I have to click and drag the corners at least 5 - 6 times before it will recognize that I do, and it will also ignore the resizing I perform and break back to normal. Sometimes, I have to click more than once things to get them to sign up. This does not occur with any other software etc, so I excluded that there is a problem with my mouse.

  This happens only one day, and I can't think of any particular system changes it will likely cause (IE no abnormal plugins installed recently, no major changes in hardware or software). Unless my keyboard has a stuck key or something strange, I am absolutely at a loss

  I suppose the work disk was full or something else. A simple reboot seems to have solved the problem. (I often my system running up to 64 48 hours at a time without that it recharges) as my working days are about 36 hours straight, so it could just be a constraint of XP.

  I work on a Macbook Pro. Have a lot of memory/RAM/scratch disk space.

  When I try to edit an image (that I exported from Lightroom) PS crashes as soon as a new adjustment layer is created. When there is a second layer, I am unable to return to the original layer. Tool changes automatically the default 'move' tool 'pipette' and the PS freezes.

  Lived all the archives and can't find any help. Also just reinstalled the PS from the disk and still have the same question.

  You opened the dialog box setting somewhere offscreen.  Usually this is due to have a second monitor connected and the operating system is always display (often on laptops).

  The big idea:

  I recently got Adobe CC as a gift. At the opening of my first place of Photoshop, [the title of this post]. I can open an instance of Photoshop, create or open a file, and Photoshop stops responding after a 10 to 30 second interval after editing the file, or let it sit open. I have tried many approaches to solve this problem:

  • Update my graphic drivers
  • Reboot (many times)
  • Changing the options of the printer (sounds ridiculous, but I had read that this was a resolution for some)
  • Disable the "autosave" of Photoshop (also)
  • Re-installing Photoshop
  • Which allows Photoshop more CPU usage and memory
  • Disable WiFi before you start (CC issue maybe?)

  Clean your entire hard drive and re-install your operating system. Re-install Photoshop. (it will take a whole day)
  

• Photoshop cs6 shifts when creating new file

  When creating a file the program is lagging about 4 to 7 seconds, when I save the file and re - open, there is no lag, at the opening of the older files is no this lag as well.   So I've had this problem for about a month now and is really infuriating.

  I installed the trial version CS6 Master suit, and after a little more, I would like to notice that after some time of using photoshop, would not:

  • Open old files
  • Create new
  • Would slow down and begin to break the feet if I had a file open when the 'event '.
  • It would be impossible to record.

  After a google search, I found a lot of suggestions, such as the default printer is a network printer that was not connected or that the suggestions were corrupt. None of them worked. I did a clean reinstall of windows, but this did not fix my problem.   Open photoshop when it is buggy and press Ctrl + Break (Break) (it's usually next to the print screen).

  If all goes well a fix will stop this bug directly to the outside, now that a solution has been found.

  When we turn off a virtual machine, it will release 1 block of PTR and we would be able to on another VM / create the 20 GB file using "dd". Once we reached 0 free blocks of PTR, we are unable to create new files.

  Can anyone give any suggestions on how we may be able to clear the blocks PTR? We have already tried to restart all services of management on all ESXi hosts connected.

  FreeNAS is not running on a virtual machine.

  We solved the problem by finding a lot PTR blocks have been used by many of our models of virtual machine. Remove the disk models solved the problem.
