• Photoshop CS6 creates new layers when cropping

  When I crop my picture CS6 today creates a layer.  If I check the history, there is no sign that a layer has been created, just cropped, however if I check under layer, "Flatten Image" is highlighted.  How do I get rid of this, just started today.

  Layer 0 is the only layer that displays in the layers panel after crop you the image or is there still a 'Background' layer below layer 0.

  Photoshop CS6, the crop tool has been refined. There is an option that allows you to 'not' to remove the trimming pixels when you crop - which means that your image data is not lost - you can return to the original version at any time.   Hay guys, pen my tool of Photoshop CS6 has suddenly started to train and be slow when Im active on this tool. It is delayed and will slow down when I click on layers and do some other stuff, but ONLY when im on this tool. I have to wait 2-3 seconds for what it is to happen after I click on a point on the pen tool. Sometimes it's ok when its on the 'path' one but when its sequel "Shape" his late and goes really slow.   It is a pre-sales question.  I use cc Premiere Pro to my video editing.  However I found Photoshop CC very useful for some purposes than Premiere Pro

  simply cannot do.  (For example using art filters to sharpen the images).  My question is to know if Photoshop CC provides all the relevant video features that Photoshop CS6 does not.  I can get CS6 to what would be an economy long term on CC.  I would just sign up for Photoshop CC if there were significant improvements.  I went through all the pages 'what's new' for Photoshop CC and see almost nothing relating to the video.  It's as if Adobe put the video function in CS6 and only stopped working on it.  I assume that an answer to this question would be sufficient if anyone could tell me what happened again in the use of dynamic objects in CC to the CS6.

  Dynamic objects are just containers. The have no logical connection to other layers or smart objects, so no, any change must always be done by organizing your stack of layers accordingly and splicing distinct points on the timeline.   There are at least two ways to change the source of depthmap. One is by double clicking on it in the layers panel, and the other way is using the 3D properties panel, ensuring that you have selected the depthmap, then by selecting "broadcasts" and "Change the Texture".

  I have problems with my installation of Photoshop CS6 extended 13.0. I have a large collection of fonts (more than 9000 - no joke) and Photoshop slows down bad whenever I do something that requires the use of the fonts/typing/text handling. I tried to disable the font previews. Photoshop is still too slow. I found a related thread and have additional questions about my situation:

  • Is there a way to mitigate the slowdown in Photoshop when something related to fonts?
  • Will be updated to the latest version of CS6 help? I should even try to update?
  • I have to reduce the number of fonts activated? If so, what is a good number to aim for?
  • Any advice on the management of fonts? The thread mentions Typekit - I do not have a full subscription to CC. Other tools of management of good police (preferably free) that you can recommend?

  9000 fonts?  How many people have you used last year?

  Not really sure what to tell you. Using a lot of fonts is a serious drain on system resources.  How long does Photoshop take to open?  Some time I think.

  TypeKit used to be a wonderful resource, but it has become very limited, if you only plan to photograph, and it would do precisely nothing to the management of your 9000 fonts.  Not a garbage.

  I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 to edit a video. This is a file created in the past that contains small animations such as opacity and some transformations. The last time that I finished working with the file, everything was perfect and has worked flawlessly.

  I recently decided to open the file again to add an animated layer/chart. I added a text layer with a long string of numbers and a layer mask. The mask is not related to the text.

  When I animate the layer using 'turn' (the moving text, from one side to the other), a keyframe is created. The problem is that I can't scrub the timeline for a time before the last keyframe (including the first keyframe). When I try to do so, or when I simply click on the button to the beginning of the video, I get this error: "Could not complete your request because of a program error."

  I tried to remove a lot of the old layers to get rid of their animations, in which case it was a problem of resource memory or something and it doesn't work. I closed and restarted the PS, still without success.

  I FIXED IT :)

  I placed the text layer in its own folder. I then applied the layer mask in the folder, not the layer.

  The text layer anime now, the error does not occur.

  This shows that, at least on my system, Photoshop would allow me to animate the text layer if the layer itself had a mask that was not related to her.

  I noticed that when a selection is Layer via Copyed in Photoshop CS6, it seems brighter and slightly more saturated in color than the original selection that it came. Currently I have manually do lighting and color adjustment for the return to the original game, but is there a way to prevent altogether? There are no masks or layers adjustment or other tools used when this happens - just a simple layer by copy.

• Photoshop CS6 no image in x 64

  I use a trial version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 now to try before you buy. I had also installed a trial of After Effects, Premiere Pro CS6 and other 64-bit applications, and they all have problems. My problem is that there is no image in Photoshop. It appears in the thumbnail in layers but not in the main window. Now, I decided that I would try the 32 bit version... it worked perfectly... no problem. Of course, I couldn't do it with the first or AE because they have x 64 only, but I had similar problems to those too. In fact, all 64-bit applications run slower than their 32-bit counterparts, which all went very well. I'm confused, I have drivers updated and patched programs, but it does not work. You guys have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
