Photoshop does not open
My 2015.5 Photoshop does not open. I get an error message that says could not apply the control panel backup using the default value. Click OK and get a new message that says: cannot start Photoshop because of a program error. I tried to uninstall Photoshop Cloud and re install but same error. Of course Adobe Chat is now closed
No one can tell you anything without more adequate system or other technical details, including the exact wording of the warnings / error messages.

cc of Photoshop does not open JPEG - error message "file not found" just upgraded to the latest version of photohop cc
I just replaced my 9.5 Raw camera with Camera Raw 9.4, from this page:
Camera Raw installation of Adobe Photoshop CC and CS6 program
It worked, now I'm back in business!
PS. along the way, I installed Camera Raw 8.3 (manual drag-and - déposer), in response to advice on a pretty old thread, and that worked as well.

CC of Photoshop does not open when you try to open the files in Lightroom CC
Recently, when I try to open files in Photoshop from Lightroom CC, I get the error message that is attached. If I manually open CC PS it opens and the LR files are there, but it does not open on its own.
I went on the hard drive where these files are stored and checked the disk and there is no necessary repairs. I checked my preferences for editing in LR and PS is the chosen program. You have ideas.
Thank you
Larry Lindell
Looking at this error report, looks like Lightroom trying to open a copy of Photoshop on your backup disk. Since it is a copy of the software and is not the property inscribed and the installation files, it is not able to launch correctly. See the following: Lightroom: "Edit in PS 2014" opens PS 2014 in the wrong place

Photoshop does not open on something I did a long time ago
I downloaded photoshop but it does not open. You see, I got a free trial of the last year, and the button is still in my computer. So now that I have the Photoshop Cloud AND I was hoping this would work again, but now when I get to this page with the big blue button that says: 'Download' nothing happens!
I think it's that earlier when I came to this page, I clicked it there was a Run, the usual says pop. BUT I clicked on something and then checked to do every time (I do not remember WHAT option I clicked) but now nothing DON'T get PAST! Help, please!
Hello
Welcome to the community!
We need information about the system or operating system you use? You are on the Web of Creative cloud site and clicking on download?
To start, please go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and download creative cloud app after that you can install any software you want including Photoshop. If you click Download and nothing happens, it seems to be a problem with a browser, change the browser and try again.
Thank you!

Photoshop does not - open "problem connecting to the server.
I'm having a problem with Photoshop is not opening. It opens, and load it, but then I get a pop up notifiaction saying:
' There was a problem on the server 'server name' connector
The server may not exist or it is not available at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection and try again.
Server, as it is at work, because I have the opportunity to take my laptop to work. I get error at home, when I'm no longer connected to the server, and on a totally different WiFi network (the server is through WiFi). I tried to restart and turn off WiFi all together, but I still get the error each time. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall because I recently moved, and I don't know where my box is provided with the serial number. I use Photoshop CS on Mac 10.7.5 5.5 (Macbook Pro).
Any suggestions? Thank you.
Looks like you put a link/alias/shortcut in Photoshop file to a network server that is not currently online.
Check all the stuff in your Photoshop file that you changed (plugins, presets, expansion boards, etc.).

2015.3 CC PhotoShop does not open on Windows 7
I installed PhotoShop CC 2015.3.0 last week on a new Windows 7 machine. PhotoShop has worked in the beginning, even if initially there was a message on the display driver (my graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950). I have since switched monitors (not graphics cards). PhotoShop works for a few days very well with the other monitor. Now PhotoShop won't start. Illustrator opens a fine, recognizing the card without error on this subject when I view the system information.
My graphics driver is updated. There is no error message when I try to start PhotoShop - anything except that I see a process of PhotoShop when I look at the running task manager. (I killed several of these processes, it disappeared but does not help them also). There are no files in the folder of PhotoShop crash report. Other Adobe applications will still work (that is to say, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, bridge). I uninstalled and reinstalled PhotoShop. It still does not work. I tried to move the sniffer.exe desktop file. Still nothing happens.
I see a lot of people can't get PhotoShop CC 2015 to run but I have not found anything yet that solved it for me. After an hour + I'm frustrated...
How can I get PhotoShop to work? It is permitted for one year.
Thank you.

sign out of Creative cloud Application. Restart Windows. Run Photoshop years see if he will ask you to connect.

Hello-
I fell today on this update to Camera Raw-> http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2011/03/keeping-photoshop-up-to-date.html#notconnected
(See the sentence "the download links Direct to Camera Raw for Photoshop CS6 8.3").
And I've seen Camera Raw 8.4 for CS6 (I am currently working with this version).
Strange, you read "8.3", but the link says "8.4"...
Too cool, I directly downloaded and applied the "update." And the update has been successfully installed. If I can believe the window below (screenshot).
Right after, I opened Photoshop CS6® and boummm now I can't open my pictures more!
Photoshop® tells me that:
So what's the problem? I did something wrong?
Could someone help me on this?
Thanks, have a nice day...
-Dimitri
You are using mac os x 10.6 snow leopard?
If so, camera raw 8.4 does not work on snow leopard.
You will need to go back to camera raw 8.3
I thought that adobe was supposed to fix the installers so camera raw 8.4 wouldn't install on snow leopard

LR3 DNG edit in Photoshop does not open in Camera Raw
I have LR 3.2 64 bit and v12.0.1 CS5 and Camera Raw 6.2 on Windows 7 64bits. I do 95% of my editing in Lightroom. Sometimes I choose 'Edit in Photshop' and in the past a DNG or CR2 image open in Camera Raw (at least I think that's the case). Recently however, I have noticed that if I have a DNG or a CR2 file, right click and select 'open in Photoshop... '. ' open the file directly in Photoshop, not in Camera Raw. I tried to delete my LR3 preference, clear my preferences of CS5 and deleting both, but the behavior does not change. Does anyone have an idea to explain this?
Thank you
Alan.
There is nothing wrong with the behavior you are because the image is not supposed to Open in Camera Raw, nor should he.

Hello
I got a new camera and Photoshop and Lightroom will not open Raw images with my new camera Canon 6 d help! I use Photoshop CS5 extended version. and Lightroom 3
Good and bad news:
The bad news is you need CS6 or later version to open 6 d RAWs. (The 6 d did not support until Camera Raw 7.37.0 was created in CS6;) You can choose to upgrade (I recommend CS6 to jump and go straight to 2014 CC for $10 / month) * GOLD *...
.. the good new is that the DNG Converter can help you convert your RAWs in DNG for CS5 and Lightroom 3.

Photoshop does not open because it says that the scratch disk is full
How can I fix it? The program will not open when I start it. I start to open and said so immediately scratch disk is full and then closes the program. How can I fix it?
Without information system, we cannot tell you what exactly is going on. Usuall means what it says - your disks are full or at least not accessible to Photoshop. You could try holding down Ctrl + Alt + shift when you start the program to reset prerequisite information and to define a new location, you should really look into your cleaning system and make room for otehrwise. There are a few tips interspersed here:

Photoshop does not open jpeg files
I'm working on a Mac OS 10.8.5 and run Photoshop CC 2104. For these days so I'm opening a JPEG in photoshop, that it continues to throw up "could not complete your request because the file was not found." No matter where I try to open the file from or in what manner. for example the menu "open file" or if I drag the file to the PS icon in the dock. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled and still the problem occurs. All other file types open without a problem and the JPEGs open in other applications just not Photoshop. I really need to get this sorted out as it's obviously influence my work.
Thanks in advance!
The problem here is that the camera Raw Plugin is too recent for the version of Mac OS x you have. What you need to do is downgrade from version to version 9.4 9.5 and everything will be fine. Older versions of Mac OS x are not compatible with Camera Raw 9.5 and beyond
Camera Raw installation of Adobe Photoshop CC and CS6 program
