  In Photoshop elements 13, in Expert mode, how can I stop a control panel appeared at the bottom of every time I pass the tools?  I'm just trying to compose by switching between the zoom and hand tool tool. Whenever I pass, a control panel appears. I have to manually hide the Panel each time. Which seriously disrupts the flow of what should be a task simple, zoom / move. I don't remember this annoying behavior in my previous versions of the software...  Can someone please advise me how I can stop? I thank very you much in advance!

  What you see is the tool options palette.

  The interface has been changed from 11 items on.

  It seems logical to view options when a new tool is selected. If you don't want to, look at the upper right of the tool options palette. You can open a menu in which you remove the check mark in the box to automatically display the tools/options.

  When you're accustomed to older versions of elements, it is a good idea to read the section on areas of work and the environment, in particular on the bins.

• Why my wifes computer now has CC on it?  She has that Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements.  We do not have the CCS.

  Well good for Photoshop to fix this, I chatted with technical support and they have a new version of 13.1 to. I've updated, then went in the preferences and found the preference of the user interface, select 200%. Who did the trick.

  I recently got 13 elements Photoshop because I thought it function a bit like Photoshop, but cheaper.  At the time wherever I opened, I noticed that the interface has been completely different.  So, I clicked on the link for the tutorial for beginners eLive, who sent me this link: start with Photoshop elements 13 - YouTube

  However, the video above seems slightly different from mine, making it difficult to follow.  On the top in the video bar, he'll leave eLive > media > People > locations > events.  The one I use will of eLive > fast > guided tour > Expert.

You can download from your computer at revel via adoberevel.com, via the application of revel, if you use Win8 or Mac, or via an upgrade items 11 or 12.   Download of Adobe products on a windows based computer, to download two files so that the download is complete. Number one is the exe for this product, and the second file is a .7z file that is a complete package.

  The reason why we need two files is because a .7z file is a compressed file and the .exe file is used to extract the same file.

• Photoshop cs4 vs Photoshop Elements

  Hello... I've owned cs4 for awhile. Just got a copy of photoshop elements 10 & first 10 items. I was wondering if I should watch the photoshop elements or the elements first. Any thoughts? Thank you.

  In very general terms, the differences between the PS and PSE will be:

  • PSE uses solutions more "big button", where, in PS, we do things by hand, but with the advantage of control, easily accessible.
  • PS offers CMYK, where PES does not have.
  • PS can create layer sets, where PES can only modify.
  • Don't think that PSE has added adjustment layers, but I check out on this one.

  Of course, there are more features in the PS, or CS4, but that's sort of the "highlights".

  Now with the combo of PES/PrE 10, we have a few good interfacing to do things like fast stuff, that allow to bind (a bit like Adobe Dynamic Link between PrPro, AfterEffects, recall, etc.) between the aspects of both programs.

  That said, and now I have Photoshop and also the Premiere Elements and Premiere Pro. I've never tried to pick up the PSE, to compliment the pre, I have create my slideshows in PrPro anyway and do not need this link between pre and PSE. Yet, others would not give this back-and-forth slide show production, even if you gave them a free copy of Photoshop. If they leave in PrPro, this slideshow extension is one of the first things they miss.

  Now, I have not read all the problems with PS and PSE installed on the same machine. I have pre and PrPro on both of my main machines, with no problems. I just never tried to install with my PS PSE, so can't speak from experience.

• Shortcut bar disappeared in Photoshop Elements 10

  I recently installed the free trial version of Photoshop Elements 10.

  Today, I noticed that there are no shortcuts in the edit window bar.

  In my view, a shortcut bar is supposed to be located just below the menu bar and above the options bar.  I think I had a shortcut bar earlier but it disappeared at some point.

  I tried to reinstall the program, but there is still no shortcut bar.

  Is it possible to make it reappear from the shortcut bar?

  I have prE8 and photoshop cs4.  My computer has a hard time lately so I've been disable some processes.  I disabled my organizer elements Pr, but photoshop elements Organizer still works.  What I don't understand is why I have Photoshop elements Organizer in the first place?  It come with cs4 or pre 8?  What is this Organizer for and how to disable it.

  The elements Organizer comes with Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements.

  The CS4 equivalent would be the bridge, even if they are actually very different.

  In my books, I will detail the functions of the organizer and how to use it. But, at the bottom:

  1) there is a media management system

  (2) it allows you to search and catalog your media files based on a number of criteria - General and very specific

  (3) it includes a basic photo editor

  (4) there are automatic tools for the creation of a number of project including slideshows, boxes of CD and even US postage stamps

  (5) includes a number of features for sharing your media, including interfaces for Facebook, Picasa, and Photoshop.com

  (6) this is the main command for the media auto-analyzer, a tool that plays a role in the first elements SmartFix tool

  7) there is the master control for the online backup of your multimedia files

  If you go to Edition/Preferences, you can disable any background process that it is running.

  However, there is no interest to turn it off completely. It is not slow down your system when it is not running, and it shares features with Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements.
