  Unfortunately, PSE 8 was a single platform, so if you really want to stay with this version, you will have the difficult process of finding a legitimate copy of someone (adobe won't sell it for you). But there is no Organizer in PSE 8 for mac. If you are able to find a copy, write the tags and properties in files in windows before you put the photos to the mac. Then at least you will have keywords of your labels.

  If you decide to buy the latest version of the PSE, PSE 12 instead, and you have a catalog that you want to transfer on mac, you must buy a boxed version of 12, PSE, which includes both platforms. Then first install PES 12 in windows, upgrade your catalog and make a full backup using the backup of the Organizer on a removable drive. Then install the PES on your mac and restore the catalog it.

  After 35 years with Microsoft (for MS - back), it's time to go back to Apple (used Apple IIGS, Apple IIc, Lisa Mac) to a MacBook Pro.

  Breaker for me is a matter of maintaining and access (100% reliable read/write NTFS) my external HDD 3 3 TB each, with music, videos, documents, photos... and the music/video streaming of these hard drives (file sharing) to my network served stream HD 3D Dune (SMB) with the construction of files app yaDIS.

  Dual-boot Windows is not an option that I can simply stay with Windows.

  I have read a lot on the transition to Mac but could find a solution very solid.

  Yes there are other solutions, some might even be free, but Paragon have done this for a long time that is why they are now up to version 14 and they have explicitly added support for El Capitan as well.

I have a few questions. First of all, I have a HP 320-1120 all-in-one m. I don't like an all-in-one. Too restrictive on the updating of the material. I'm totally wireless in my house. We have 2 wireless printers, wireless, of the iPhone6 PC 2, an iPad3 & an iPad Air2. I know some technique, but not much. I use mainly myiPad Air for everything because I'm handicapped & cannot sit at a desk with a PC very long. I use my PC to store the images & music & running the Office on this subject. I use it, of course, for those things that cannot be done on an iPad. What Mac do you think would suit me better? Can I transfer my files to a Windows PC on a Mac? How hard is that? Can I use my external backup current Seagate with a Mac & reformat? Can I use my external drive to Seagate. current Expansion with the Mac? My printers will work with the Mac? They are both HP, wireless. An all-in-one HP8600 pro & an Envy100 HP engineering. A laptop, a desktop computer, or a mini would be best for my needs? Can I use the same modem & router? I have high speed internet through TWC, 30mbs. I know it is a lot, but if someone could help me I would be very happy.

  No, unfortunately, ESP is not cross-platform. If you have the latest version for a single platform, adobe will crossgrade to the other platform for a minimal cost, but since you have PSE 7 rather than 8 is not an option.

  You need to re - install using the original installer.
