  You need to change your file associations so that the reader opens pdf files. How you do that depends on what operating system you are using.

  I don't know what just happened.  In October 2013, I downloaded a trial version of Adobe Photoshop Essentials 12.  When the trial period ended, Adobe offered a special price on Adobe Photoshop Essentials 12 - better than the usual price.  So, rather than convert the trial version to a full version, I downloaded the special offer.  The download process appears to happen correctly but did not end up quite as expected.  I didn't know what to do at this time, but because the charge showed up on my credit card on December 11, 2013, I assumed everything was fine.  But not so much.  I was not able to use Photoshop at all.  I get a message saying that my trial period is over.  Now what?  I have to be able to download the program without being recharged.  1-800-642-3623 returns me to the site www.adobe.com/getsupport, I have a PC, Windows 7, 64 bit.  My abilities in case of problems are not large.  Help!

  I had Photoshop essentials (perhaps from the elements) on my old PC, the program has been a birthday gift and I had 2 copies! However the old PC gave the soul many years ago and there was some time before that I could get new kit so I never had the chance to transfer anything.

  I will now have the time (and inclination) to do something with all of my photos, but guess what I can't find the original Disc program (one of them) is anyway to get a download of the original program or should I still buy it?

  I'm sure that the disc was purchased when the fist of the reduced version (essentials or items) is out, so it's a long time ago. I must not do anything just basic editing program photo, the window edit the program that came with my laptop is extremely limited and out of the rotation of photos and application of the automatic correction there is not much I can do.

  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  My old computer ran Windows XP; replacement work in Windows 7. I had saved my files Photoshop elements 11 program on a hard disk of auxiliary voltage. After switching to the new computer, I stick in the drive C. I clicked on Photoshop elements Editor, in the hope to start it. Got the "error c.   I think I thought of her, with the help of a customer service representative. I have downloaded the program. I logged in on Adobe's Web site and found my products. It gave me the serial number. I used a link, the service representative gave in our chat, which took me to the page where there are links to download. I found that it is in 2 parts. I clicked on the 1st...   I use Photoshop CS5 Extended Student and Teacher Edition - Version.   I'm not able to create a new action.  When I open the menu actions, the new action option is grayed out.

  

  In addition, there is no "new action" icon at the bottom of the screen of my action as I have seen in tutorials showing how to create a new action (a tutorial of screen capture).

  How do I get these buttons so I am able to create a new action.  I have already uninstalled photoshop and reinstalled but got the same menus of the screen for stocks.  I have also reset the settings menu of photoshop essentials, but that did not help or the other.  What should I do next?

  Beginning workspace is a new feature that was added in the release of CC2015.1 However, you can disable it by going to the Photoshop preferences > General > uncheck 'display space to start work '.
