  I must add that when I try and open a file, it freezes and I have to force photoshop completely.

  Try resetting your Photoshop preferences.

  I just replaced my 9.5 Raw camera with Camera Raw 9.4, from this page:

  It worked, now I'm back in business!

  PS. along the way, I installed Camera Raw 8.3 (manual drag-and - déposer), in response to advice on a pretty old thread, and that worked as well.

  I'm having a problem with Photoshop is not opening.  It opens, and load it, but then I get a pop up notifiaction saying:

  Server, as it is at work, because I have the opportunity to take my laptop to work.  I get error at home, when I'm no longer connected to the server, and on a totally different WiFi network (the server is through WiFi). I tried to restart and turn off WiFi all together, but I still get the error each time.  I don't want to uninstall and reinstall because I recently moved, and I don't know where my box is provided with the serial number.  I use Photoshop CS on Mac 10.7.5 5.5 (Macbook Pro).

  Looks like you put a link/alias/shortcut in Photoshop file to a network server that is not currently online.

  Check all the stuff in your Photoshop file that you changed (plugins, presets, expansion boards, etc.).

• "Edit in Photoshop" LR not opening maximized

  Try to find how to do that PS is a window enlarged after selecting "change as a layer in photoshop" in the context menu of LR.  I've adjusted the PS shortcut to open enlarged during execution of the program solo, but when the transfer of LR to PS, PS still does not open maximized window.

  Recently, when I try to open files in Photoshop from Lightroom CC, I get the error message that is attached.  If I manually open CC PS it opens and the LR files are there, but it does not open on its own.

  

  I went on the hard drive where these files are stored and checked the disk and there is no necessary repairs.  I checked my preferences for editing in LR and PS is the chosen program.  You have ideas.

  Looking at this error report, looks like Lightroom trying to open a copy of Photoshop on your backup disk. Since it is a copy of the software and is not the property inscribed and the installation files, it is not able to launch correctly.   So I'll start with the basics; I use Photoshop 7 (and Yes, I use it for a reason, I'm not interested in the migration to this jumble of creative cloud new $1000), we Australians get us torn a new and I am happy with the $50 I paid for my copy years ago. (Please don't tell me the solution to my problem is simply to level and go bankrupt. Yet once again, I am using 7 for very long without problem).

  I use the 7 for almost a decade without problem. I stick with it because so far, he has done everything that I need, has been reliable up to this point, and my plugins work correctly with the newer versions. I also use a system more older-spec (Windows XP, 3 GB of ram etc.) I do a lot of work with former game engines, Source engine etc.

  The question that I have doesn't seem to be Photoshop-7 States, however, there are many threads on this point that remained and arrive in CS3 etc. and modern copies as well. I uninstalled and reinstalled nothing doesn't. Basically, I can't open the reliable files with it.

  If I click with the right button on any image file in Solution Explorer and click 'Open with-> Photoshop', photoshop will launch, however it does not open the file. I double checked to make sure that the file wasn't just opening offscreen, however it is certainly not opening at all (like the "close" option does not become available).

  If I launch photoshop manually, click on file-> open-> it will open this file, BUT it will not more files open after that.

  She also is very very picky with simple controls, such as if I hit CTRL + T to go in processing mode and then try to resize an image, I have to click and drag the corners at least 5 - 6 times before it will recognize that I do, and it will also ignore the resizing I perform and break back to normal.   I suppose the work disk was full or something else. A simple reboot seems to have solved the problem. (I often my system running up to 64 48 hours at a time without that it recharges) as my working days are about 36 hours straight, so it could just be a constraint of XP.

  I hope that this solves the problem for someone else who she sees. Restart your pc from time to time, give him a table open memory to work with.

  To start, please go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and download creative cloud app after that you can install any software you want including Photoshop. If you click Download and nothing happens, it seems to be a problem with a browser, change the browser and try again.

  Without information system, we cannot tell you what exactly is going on. Usuall means what it says - your disks are full or at least not accessible to Photoshop. You could try holding down Ctrl + Alt + shift when you start the program to reset prerequisite information and to define a new location, you should really look into your cleaning system and make room for otehrwise.   Hi, I recently installed Photoshop CS5, but everytime I open the app, I get this error message on loading screen:

  "Cannot open a file because the file is locked or you don't have the necessary access privileges. Use the "Get Info" command in the Finder to unlock the file or change the permissions on the files or folders inclusive. »

  I looked online for solutions everywhere, but I obviously was unsuccessful and I am at the point where I don't know what else to try, other that a clean install of my OS, however it is a last resort that I currently do not have an external hard drive to transfer my files to do this. So far, I have tried these things:

  • Photoshop reinstalled several times, even the BETA of CS6 version gives me the same error.
  • Files deleted preferences in/Library/Preferences /.
  • Used the alt + a cmd shortcut when Photoshop starts to select a different disk location.
  • Used the cmd + alt + shift shortcut to delete the settings file, which I can't do as the above mentioned error message appears before the window to delete the settings file.
  • Tried restarting several times, even in safe mode and I still get the same message.
  • Tried to change the permissions on the folder Applications and Adobe, CS5 CS5 application folder, folder but they are all set to "read & write access" for me. I am also set as an administrator.
  • Cleaned my cache of all unnecessary files.
  • I also fixed my permissions using the disk utility, but that does not solve the problem.

  I have a 2010 Macbook Pro, 4 GB RAM, running OS X Lion 10.7.3 with 2 xxxx on my hard drive (OS X and Windows 7). I have 15 GB free on my partition OS X currently, which may not seem like much, however I have Photoshop CS5 already run as a trial and other versions of Photoshop and the small amount of hard drive space has never affected the ability of the software to create a file.

  The strange thing, however, is that I can use Photoshop CS5 and CS6 on a guest account that I created recently, which means that the problem I experience is based permissions. Opening a session on a separate account is a pretty good solution for the moment, but it is incredibly painful to keep changing account just to use Photoshop.

  Someone at - it any other ideas? As I mentioned earlier, resettlement is a last resort because I don't currently have the necessary resources.

  I managed to fix it myself, almost by accident, after that each method failure suggests that I came across.

  My problem was access 'read only' being defined in certain folders in ~/private/ on my main account, which means that Photoshop could not create a file important, temporary in this place.

  For anyone who comes across this thread due to having the same problem, here is the solution:

  1. Open the finder, then go to 'Go' in the menu bar and select "go to folder".
  2. In the window that opens, type ' / private / ' and click 'Go '.
  3. Then, right click on the folder "tmp" in /private/ and select 'get info '.
  4. Here, do scroll down to the section permissions and change permissions for user relevent "read and write".
  5. Before you close this window, click the gear under the user list icon and choose "Apply to included items" and press "Ok" in the next window.
  6. Finally, repeat steps 3 through 5 for the folder named 'var', also within /private/ and you're done. Photoshop should now open as expected.

  Although this solution was ideal for my laptop at home, giving "read and write" access to important issues like these can probably lead to lowered so security please, do so at your own risk.
