Photoshop transform height or width in pixels instead of percentage

Hello

As the title suggests, I wonder if it's possible in Photoshop to transform an object and enter the height or the width of it as of the pixels instead of a percentage?

Thank you.

"You can enter the values with ' px 'in the fields in the Options bar.

  • Resizing layers using pixels instead of percentages in Photoshop

    With the help of Photoshop CS5 for PC.

    When I select a layer and look at the info panel, I see that the width and height of the layer is shown apparently in percentages by default.  More precisely 100% height and 100% width.

    I would have preferred that the info panel shows the height and width in Pixels rather than percentages.

    After considering the height and width in Pixels I mean, change the height enter the height in pixels.

    How can I do?

    I don't want to use a "leader" to do this, I just want to be able to enter the pixels (width and height) I want the resized b layer.  For example, when you select a rectangle which is currently 100 pixels high and 50 pixels wide, I want to be able to simply change of 50 pixels wide by entering (in a field) 25 to make 25 pixels wide.

    In Fireworks, I resize in pixels all the time.  But could not find a method similar to Photoshop.

    Thank you

    Info palette: just click on the drop down next to the display and change the units for playback.

    Transformation: just specify the units when you enter the number, '25 px' or '25 pixels.

    How display the height and width in pixels of an image that I adjust them until I actually have to crop the image?

    You can make the Panel visible Info and see dimensions in various operations.

    It is often useful to define the rules to read in Pixels (in the section units and rules of preferences).

  • Resizing layers using pixels rather than percentages by AUTO ACTION

    Hi guys,.

    I have just a problem in the resizing layers; I use pixel in the bar. But when I do in action auto, it becomes percentages which can lead to the wrong action towards other layer I want to apply for. So, how can I use pixels instead of percentages when I do the Auto action?

    Thank you.

    Photoshop actions have limits, if you are familiar with JavaScript, you should probably examine script instead.

  • The height and width settings no longer work.

    Adobe Photoshop CS5 settings went crazy in the canvas size box.  Everything appears as 0, whether inches, pixels, etc.  I tried to enter numbers instead of the zeros in the height and Width boxes, and then it creates huge margins around the image.  If I cut the number in half to try to mislead the it, it still gives big margins instead of cropping the image.  Help!

    Looks like you have Relative checked in the canvas size dialog box.

  • Minimum height and width does not work in the responsive project

    I'm working on a responsive project in Captivate 9, breakpoint Office, for one of the items minimum height 50px and Minimum width to 50px.

    In points out of office and Tablet, she gets no smaller than 50px. However, breaking Mobile, point it turns into 32px Min-Height and Min-Width 4.0px.

    The 32px Min-Height and Min-Width 4.0px take a coral color in the breakpoint Mobile.

    Why don't the 50px which was update to stop Office remain the same on all breakpoints?

    What is the purpose? A 50 x 50 pixel png? I just create a project that is sensitive with a png of 200 x 200, placed in the desktop view and then set the size of the object and the height to 50 pixels. When I pass between breakpoints, the size remains the same. The size and position properties are all a light purple color on each breakpoint, which I guess means that these attributes are inherited from the Office discovers.

    If the boxes under "Height" and "Width" have transformed a coral-colored, I guess that means that these attributes have been changed for this breakpoint.

    And you obviously already know. I guess that I'm just trying to say that he expected to run, as it does for me!

    You are able to adjust these modified figures go back to your desired size? The same thing happens if you create, say, a dynamic square object in the view of the Office? Have you tried right clicking on the object in the desktop view and selecting "Apply position properties from all points of view"?

  • ADF 11 g - NullPointerException on PivotTable (size height: 100%, width: 100%)

    Hello

    I've migrated my app ADF of Jdeveloper 11.1.1.0.1 to 11.1.1.2.0 Build 5536. In the old version, the pivot table works fine. The PivotTable has an inlineStyle = "height: 100%;" Width: 100%; "and I have a button to refresh the data displayed. After updating the data by pressing the button one held NullPointerException. I discovered that the pivot table works fine without width: 100% in the inlineStyle. Unfortunately the styleclass AFStretchWidth does not work in my example. What can I use instead of the inline style to display the 100% PivotTable?

    Kind regards

  • HorizontalFieldManager custom: cannot field presentation, insufficient height or width

    I have two fields to label that I need for available side by side in a manager of horizontal field. When ran, the outputs of the Console: "cannot the field presentation, insufficient height or width.

    When I insert a breakpoint, the values are:

    • width = 480
    • height = 1073741823

    Why is the value of great height? (Oh yes, the virtual height.)

    What is the right way to calculate the height - just use the height field's favorite?

    LabelField lf = new LabelField("Flavor");
    LabelField olf = new LabelField("Order");

    HorizontalFieldManager hfm = new HorizontalFieldManager(
            Manager.NO_HORIZONTAL_SCROLL
                    | Manager.NO_HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR) {

            protected void sublayout(int width,
                int height) {
            Field field;
            int numberOfFields = getFieldCount();
            int x = 0;
            int y = 0;

            for (int i = 0; i < numberOfFields; i++) {
                field = getField(i);
                setPositionChild(field, x, y);
                layoutChild(field, width,
                        height);
                y += 10;
            }

            int myWidth = Math.min(width,
                    getPreferredWidth());
            int myHeight = height;

            super.sublayout(myWidth, myHeight);

            setExtent(myWidth, myHeight);
        }

        public int getPreferredWidth() {
            return getScreen().getWidth();
        }
    };

    hfm.add(olf);
    hfm.add(lf);

    You all that hard work the fields chickens and then try to destroy with super.sublayout () call. I'm sure that's what throws the exception. Check your myWidth and myHeight before the call to super.sublayout (). You might find that getPreferredWidth() returns to zero.

    I don't know why you would want to increase the parameter y in a horizontal field in any event handler. If anything, set x and not just randomly, by 10, but by the field.getWidth (). But it's logical that if you extend the Manager and remove super.sublayout call.

    More important still, you can get what you want much easier to not the substitution of all sublayouts and instead use setMargin on your domains.

  • Get the height and width of an image

    I have therefore some images in my program that I'm loading. These images are much longer than the size of the screen. So I put in a ScrollView. My question is how can I get the height and width of an image. The image.width and image.height doesn't return the correct values.

    //add the image
    private function addImage():Container {
        var sp1:Container = new Container();
        sp1.sizeUnit = SizeUnit.PIXELS;
        sp1.debugColor = 0xFFFFFF;
        sp1.margins = Vector.([1,0,0,0]);
        sp1.align =ContainerAlign.NEAR;
        //sp1.setSize(650, 800);

        var myPattern:RegExp = / /g;
        var fileName:String = "./com/swiz/img1.png";
        var icon:Image = new Image();
        icon.setImage(File.applicationDirectory.resolvePath(fileName).url);
        //icon.setPosition(0,0);
        //icon.setSize(320,800);
        sp1.addChild(icon);
        sp1.setSize(650, icon.height);

        return sp1;
    }

    and my code scrollview is

    //add to the scrollView
    var scroller:ScrollPane = new ScrollPane();
    scroller.width = 650;
    scroller.height = 505;
    scroller.y = 0;
    scroller.addScrollContent(addImage());
    addChild(scroller);

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey shethab,

    in order to retrieve the height and width of your image, you must use use the an event listener on your image and check for the Event.COMPLETE event. What is happening because the image you upload is not built, it takes time to load into your application using the setImage() method. and when you check the width height after the setImage method, the image was not loaded and has no height and width to this second. If you use the event listener, you can retrieve the height and width as it was finally loaded.

    Try the following code:

    import flash.events.Event;

    //add the image
    private function addImage():Container {
        var sp1:Container = new Container();
        sp1.sizeUnit = SizeUnit.PIXELS;
        sp1.debugColor = 0xFFFFFF;
        sp1.margins = Vector.([1,0,0,0]);
        sp1.align =ContainerAlign.NEAR;
        //sp1.setSize(650, 800);

        var myPattern:RegExp = / /g;
        var fileName:String = "./com/swiz/img1.png";
        var icon:Image = new Image();
        icon.setImage(File.applicationDirectory.resolvePath(fileName).url);
        icon.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, onImageLoaded);
        //icon.setPosition(0,0);
        //icon.setSize(320,800);
        sp1.addChild(icon);
        sp1.setSize(650, icon.height);

        return sp1;
    }

    private function onImageLoaded(e:Event):void
    {
        trace("image height: " + e.target.height + " image width: " + e.target.width);
    }

    hope that somethings brightened. Good luck!

  • Page width 1200 pixels and HiDPI (X 2)

    If I give my page width 1200 pixels so I use HiDPI (X 2)?

    Everything is OK, as it is.

    If you place a very large image, Muse it is important to 1024 px size, in order to avoid inadvertently files sizes.

    You can open the "Transformation" Panel and resize your image to the desired dimensions. (2400 px original-> 1200 px HiDPI)

    After you have done this, go to the 'Assets' Panel, your image und list assets right click and choose "Import larger" and everything is, as you'd expect it to be.

    OK, here is therefore the function for resizing of the model code. I tested several times with anchor points are offset on layers and centered, even with layers that are not yet within the limits of the Model Viewer. I'm sure there will be some users who eventually find something that will break it, but for now it seems to work perfectly.
