Photosmart C410A: HP Solution Center install on 2 PCs for the same printer

I have two PCs running Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit and a HP Photosmart C410A printer, wireless connections to my network.  The solution Center has worked well on the first PC, it was installed on.  I tried to install it on my new PC, but I get an error on USB hardware and software; It will not attempt to connect and install wireless.

My question: can you run Solution Center HP of two different PC for the same printer Photosmart C410A?

Thank you.

Yes,

You can install the HP Solution Center software on several computers connected to the same netowrk as your printer.

Try following these steps to solve the USB error during installation:

Click the Start button and type folder in the search bar, then open the Temp folder indicated.

Open the last HP installation folder that begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
Open the installation folder.
Find the file usbready.exe and rename it to usbready.old.exe
Navigate to the main extraction folder (folders that begins with 7z) and run the Setup.exe file.

Now follow the installation and check for the difference.

Kind regards
Shlomi

  • Photosmart B8550 - make the XL 564 cartridges ink also incorporate the same print head?

    Photosmart B8550

XL 564 ink cartridges sit also in the same print head? Or do I need to buy a big print head to accommodate XL ink cartridges?

I ask this is because 564 plain ink cartridges seem to fit pretty snuggly here, so I don't see how a wide range of ink cartridges could go in there!

Or what is the standard ink cartridges are only half full and XL ink cartridges are full, so they use the same ink cartridge?

    Thank you!

As long as you use the same number 564, etc. 940 XL just means that it gives more volume page. So, you can use the same print head...

  • my HP photosmart 7525. Solution Center does not,

When I click the icon, it sayscan can't open, the installation is not complete. Tried to install again, but does not always.

    Hi kathan,.

I was puzzled a moment, the Photosmart 7525 has no solution Center. I suspect that you have an old HP printer installed on the computer, thus having the Solution Center. I recommend to use the wizard to install printer HP (PIW) to make sure you have the software for the installed 7525. If you do not, the PIW has been created to help Windows 7, Windows 8, and users Windows 8.1 download and install the latest and most appropriate HP software solution for their HP printer.

If you have WIndows XP or Vista, you can download and install the software by clicking here > HP Photosmart 7520 e-all-in-one printer full feature software and drivers.

You have the new software already installed, you can see in the start menu > all programs > HP folder > Photosmart 7520 folder. The printer wizard will open and you will see the option of detection. Here is a picture of what it should look like.

If you have any question, once the software is installed, you can use the print HP and doctor Scan. HP printing and doctor Scan is a free utility (tool) that allows to quickly solve common printing, scanning and connectivity problems. HP recommends that you run the tool every time that you need to solve a problem.

Printing and scanning doctor diagnoses and resolves common printing, scanning and connectivity problems, including:

  • Photosmart 2575: HP Solution Center does not work

I recently got a new PC with Windows 8.1.
After installation of my printer HP 2575 (purchased in 2006) with the Setup file recommended AIO_CDB_2570_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 4.exe I discovered that the HP Solution Center did not work.
I received the message that the printer was not found.
But printing works perfectly, so that the part of the installation was successful.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer in many ways, including:
-Uninstall using Uninstall_L1.bat, Uninstall_L2.bat, Uninstall_L3.bat, with reboot between the two.
-Installation of the printer driver just in a first time, then installation of the center of HP solutions after reboot.
The result net is now HP Solution Center shows "HP Solution Center cannot start because your device is incomplete." When I try to start it (so it's even worse than before).
V4.7.0.29 HPPSdr.exe print and Scan doctor says, "a later version of the program is available for this product.
When I use HPSupportSolutionsFramework - 11.51.0049.msi to identify the right driver, I get the same AIO_CDB_2570_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 4.exe driver file that I have already installed.
Let HPPSdr.exe begins to extract what he considers the right driver gives the file AIO_CDB_2570_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 4.exe I already downloaded.
I have not actually tried to use the downloaded file, because the download crashed when only a few MB left.

    @Carl-H,

    Welcome to the HP community!

I will do my best to make some useful suggestions in order to get the Solution Center installed and running on your system Windows 8.1. Please first test best in the printer, as this will show us if there are hardware problems, what could be the cause of all the failures of software.

If copies seem to be working, try the following steps:

    1. perform a clean boot, restart the PC and try to run the installation.

    2. use the tool File Checker system for lack of repair or corrupt system files , run the scan to find the files corrupted on your computer. You can run the scan up to three times to see if he'll get all the bugs.

3 cancel the registration and re - register the Microsoft Windows Installer service:
    1. click on the Start menu and type "cmd" in the search field and press ENTER.
2 type "msiexec /Unregister" and then press ENTER.
    3. Type "msiexec/regserver" and then press ENTER.
4 reboot your PC and try the install again.

    4. create a new profile user account with administrative privileges on your PC and run the Setup from there to see if it is correctly executed.

Let me know the results, good luck

    It's really frustrating.

    I use windows 7 64-bit.

    Can someone please help.

    Thank you

Hello everyone. I understand that you have to open the Printer Wizard. To troubleshoot the defective Printer Wizard, follow the steps described in this document from HP: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03640384

Note: The title of the document concludes that the program opens with a Script error. However, the troubleshooting steps are exactly the same. Essentially, the software needed to start the program was not installed successfully, or blocked.

Please let know me when you are done troubleshooting. I'm only here to help!

How can I install the same printer twice, with different printer for each preferences? I got my printer configured this way with my old Win XP system, but can't find a way to do it with Windows 7.

I do it all the time.  The devices folder and printer stacks multiple instances on the same device on top of the first unit (since it's the same device).  If you have Pro or Ultimate, you can use the UI created by the spooler, printmanagement.msc team, to manage your local printers.  The former team of spooler printers folder is also around, but it's really hidden.

This command will launch the printers (no authorized device) folder

    Editions of Windows upgrade

Hey guys, I have a Windows Vista free disk and I'm building a new pc. I plan Windows 7 Pro, but I want to know if I need to install Vista on it for the purchase of a Windows 7 upgrade edition, or can I use the product key that came with Vista, when you install the updated version?

In order to use the versions of Windows 7 upgrade, you must have a previous qualification license installed (Vista or XP), Windows 7 upgrade must be a compliance check. There is no need to activate it if.
