  Another idea is to unnstall HP software (using its uninstall program), then restart your PC.  Finally, download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

  The HP ePrint app will allow you to change the size of the paper.  Although I am familiar with the Carpenter Photo App, you can save the photo in the Filmstrip, and then install the HP ePrint app to select the photo you want and the size of paper you want.

  I'm a little confused on the printer you have.  Did you mean the Photosmart 5525?  Please specify what printer you have if my suggestion above does not help, but I hope he does.

  I found a useful response to find out where to change the settings, and the one I found myself.  He worked for most of the models of printers, not just mine.

  If your printer has a network connection, you can change the settings of the webserver loaded on the 8600. Enter the IP address of 8600 in your favorite server and click the defaults settings, copy settings, then make the changes you want, then apply.

  OK, try a L4 uninstall from the TEMP folder. This allows to completely uninstall the software. Looks like there is a DLL file that is corrupt in the software.

  Anything related to music from Apple is specific to each National Bank and may not be transferred. History of purchases and nothing ripped from CD rest to you. This privacy statement informs you of our privacy practices and the choices you can make about the way information about you and your online activity is collected and how that information is used.   There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers. Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.

  A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access. These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results. A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight. On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support. They should not be made lightly.

  No changes have been made to my operating system

  Try to add new applications with eprint center of my Compaq Presario CQ60 laptop to my HP printer. Computer tells me that the new applications are there and ready to use, but printer says 'server connection error "? I followed all the instructions to connect to the wireless router, but I'm not sure how to connect to the "Server"?

  The steps below a usually resolve the problem you are experiencing:

  1. unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.

  2. unplug the power cord at the back of your router (and the modem, if they are separated from the router).

  3. wait 20 seconds, then plug the router (and the modem, if necessary) in.

  4. wait for 30 seconds, then plug the printer back and power.

  5. press the button on the front of the printer ePrint, and it should try to connect to Web Services again.

  These steps usually fix the problem, but if it persists, you can try definition of network information static for the printer (which is sometimes useful to stabilize the ability of the printer to get outside of your network to the internet):

  1. tap the wireless at the top of the screen of the printer and note the IP address.
   
  2. Enter the IP address in the address bar of a web browser on a computer and press on enter or click the go button browser.
   
  3. the printer status page must be open.  Click network in the upper part.
   
  4. click on networking on the left.
   
  5. Select the Proxy settings.
  Note: If you are prompted for a redirect, click OK.  If you receive a certificate warning, select the option that allows you to continue anyway.
  If you receive an internal system error, refresh the page until it loads the proxy settings.
   
  6. check that all fields are empty.  If they are not, make them disappear and make sure that the Proxy Server requires authentication is unchecked and click on apply.  You should get a success message.
   
  7. click on the network address (IP) on the left.
  Note: If you only configuring IP address and DNS address with a yellow note Configuration, refresh the page until it loads completely.
   
  8. leave automatic IP IP address Configuration.
   
  9 change the DNS address to the manual DNS Server Configuration.
   
  10. enter manual for the manual preferred DNS Server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for auxiliary DNS.
   
  11. click Apply and you should get a success message.
   
  12. turn off the printer for 30 seconds and then turn it on again to force the new settings take effect.

• Photosmart 6520: Trying to find the Code of 'request' to record the HP printer connected.

  Printer Photosmart 6520 of is (and works perfectly), allows to print emails ok phone mobile, as the e-mail address of the printer (HP eprint one), but not able to record my printer on the HP connected site as unable to find the Code for "request".

  Have followed the instructions from HP to "Print report" and ran every possible piece of information apart from the "request Code".

  Can only guess that previously while modifying the HP eprint address and making it more user-friendly, I already activated and used the claim Code?

  I would like to fix this, so I can add a printer and display the record of the emails sent for printing.

  Appreciate any advice.

  The claim code to customize your ePrint address, which means that it's already been claimed and is no longer valid.

  In order to obtain a valid claim code, you will need to disable web services and reactivate, however, that means that you must select a different ePrint for the printer address, the current will not be available.

  To do this, click the Web Services and select settings, then select delete the Web Services.

  Open the Web Services option again and follow the steps to reactivate, an information sheet will include the new claim code.

  Then you can add it to the connected HP and select a new personalized email

• Photosmart 6520: 6520 Photosmart printer stopped printing black after changing the print cartridge

  There was a similar position two years ago. After changing the cartiridge (564XL) black printing, the printer will not copy documents. He behaves as if I placed a blank sheet of paper on the glass. I can scan the document and print the .jpeg, but not the document. The print quality of everything else is mediocre - very light on blacks, even though the colors are fine. I ran through all the diagnostic tests and he told me that the printer is fine, although the black box on the diagnostic page is empty.   Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.  I see that you get a connection error message when you try to access applications on your printer Photosmart 6520.

  Please define Manual of the printer an IP address manually and DNS servers.  I've included a link to another post with measures, including screenshots, on how to do it.  Please do not worry that the screenshots show a Photosmart 7510, the steps are the same.

  Please let me know the results.

  "C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\Digital"-AddADevice

  By clicking the shortcut wonder how I will connect the device (USB, network or WiFi).

  This should have been deleted after that I installed my printer? Is it safe to delete?
