  I did 3 WMV files as a slide show with MP3 files as background music using PhotoStory3.
  WMV files open and play when I open it in my computer, but when I downloaded on my web site, playback of MP3s, but the screen is black and white.
  When I do the same thing with Windows Movie Maker files play properly on my web site.

  By chance, I found VLC Media Player it was causing my problem.
  I deleted it from my computer, and now the files show and play as they are supposed to.

• PhotoStory3 "motion and duration."

  I had a problem with PhotoStory3 since last year.  I use PhotoStory3 for quite a few years now.  Last year when trying to create another story I had a lot of trouble when I arrived to the area ' motion and duration.   Tracking my problem above.  I use XP home SP3 I have 515 MB Ram and 161 GB of memory.  I was talking to a friend who has recently created a photo essay on Windows 7.  He had tried to create it under Vista it work properly, but it did on 7.  Perhaps Microsoft changed something in their updates in 12-18 months >

  I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.
  (a) restart the computer.
  (b) before windows logo appears, press F8repeatedly.
  (c) in the Advanced startup option, select Safe Mode.
  (d) log in to Windows with an administrator account.
  (e) click Start , and then click on work station.
  (f) in the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
  (g) in the tab view, uncheck the option to use a simple file (recommended) sharing the bottom of the list.
  (h) click OK.
  (i) click on the tab display.
  (j) slot hidden files and folders, put the check mark for display the hidden files and folders.
  (k) click to clear the Hide extensions for known file types check box, and then click on OK.
  (l) we will find the nameddata.dat file in the following folder:
  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users Application data authentic
  m file) right-click the data.dat , and then click on Properties.
  (n) click on the tab security.
  (o) click on Advanced.
  (p) on the name tab, please check if everyone is listed. If so, click on the Exit button and put on check full controlbox.
  (q) If everyone is not listed, please click on the Add button and enter the name of everyone (without the quotes).

• Class not registered. MovieMaker error message. Also clip-player shake trying to start, but never does. Is - this memory?

  Always 'class not registered' is the answer to why MovieMaker cannot import as many files. I finally realized that if I have all the "Windows"associated files with QuickTime (which I do often because QuickTime Pro has been my editor that works, but I wish you MovieMaker to work because he has a different user interface that doesn't have a QuickTime Pro and it also looks like a very good program)

  Well of course MovieMaker will say that he has not "registered class.   Yes, back to Movie Maker. Sorry... but it turns out that Movie Maker also does not seem to recognize any "class" of files that it needs to import easily. My WMV files and *.wma and.. *.avi. but he says: "class not registered". And believe me, that I am registered in each file that appears to be a DLL "library", which I guess MovieMaker can make reference. I'm out of my element when it comes to talk about these 'libraries' and controls, but I signed repeatedly 5 main DLLs in Movie Maker as well as the outside System32 DLL which seem to have an impact on it.

  I have trouble while registering the 3 final files into MovieMaker that all look the same. I keep holding out that maybe this will be the trick to get MovieMaker to work. At LEAST for the mounting clip player to operate. Does anyone know where this video player is native of...... It is also associated with Windows Media Player. And as I'm probably suspect... what I find the most space on my computer or go buy more memory (there is no place to install more unless I probably get a new computer) to get this video player to work.

  So the *.dlls 3 in MovieMaker can't register are:

  AND that's just ONE of the many ways that I tried to save them. But they come with a 'success'

  And finally the codecs associated with MovieMaker. I even went into this program identification codec under DirectX diagnosis... "Softella Filter Manager" or something like that... and I poured through it and find all instances of the MovieMaker filter DLL and I have reUpped its relevance in each case his link with some codec. I don't know exactly what I'm saying here but in the list of codecs and filters... so many things related or listed with the MovieMaker wmm2filt.dll - they were designated never "use".  And I clicked on them which has arisen again.
