Pick up the activation of Windows 8 with a crashed disk code

I checked the other posts, but I can not find this question.  My friend has a 2000 HP (no other digits or numbers anywhere.)  His car crashed and burned.  It will not work in any computer or my docking station.  He clicks just for a while stops and then starts upward.  Needles to say, I can't start so the activation code recovery programs are not an option.

I bought a new drive to it and installed it and then I managed to get a Dell OEM Windows 8 drive but of course I can't get anywhere without the activation code.  I tried to read the code bar on the keyboard, but it does not recognize my phone.  Is it possible to get the activation code for this computer?  I haven't even looked under the battery, but there is no code anywhere.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can usually order recovery of each model support page support (U.S. / CA) in software drivers/list - but you need more HP 2000 to find the right page. There should be a product number, serial number printed somewhere - usually under the battery, etc. but you indicated that nothing is there? Check in the BIOS, on the first page, for product & serial number.

Once you have the info, use the button at the top of this page titled 'Support', then click on "Download drivers" in the menu. Enter your product number. After you enter the PN, click "Go". On the next page, use the drop-down menu to select your operating system, click Next. A list will populate with the drivers/software. Scroll down the list to check the possibility of order recovery media.

    Hello

As Frederik advised, saving No. tune-up, not so-called Optimizer program, no registry cleaners should be used.

See if this helps you improve performance.

Search for malicious software with the FREE version of this program.

It would be a good idea also run the System File Checker tool to check that everything is correct in the system files.

"How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the files on system missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7"

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    Help!

Is there someone out there who can help me solve this problem?

I have a PC with Windows XP Professional 2002, Service Pack 2, control my LC - MS instrument that uses the MS Xcalibur software.  Four weeks ago, I had a PC crash and re installed Windows XP by using the CD of Installation Re.  On Thursday last week, he came a message that Windows must be enabled.  I tried by phone, but my install ID has not been accepted.  This PC came with Win XP is already installed.  I find it very strange that it should be a problem to activate it once more!

Can someone please help me solve this problem?

It is very important to me, because the PC is to control the instrument SM - which is the work horse in my business.

What should I do to solve this problem of activation?

    Hey Hashiriya Allan

Microsoft licenses part of it is that a single license is for a single installation
You can not have vista installed on two laptops using the same product key
and if vista was preinstalled on your old laptop this is an oem license and cannot be transferred to another machine

Honestly, it looks that your system needs a new reinstall of Windows 7. It should reinstall applications such as Microsoft Office and drivers for devices such as your scanner, printer. If you wish not to do this, follow these steps:

Check your hard drive for errors:

    Click Start

Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

    Click on "Run as Administrator"

At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    then

    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow
This will check for any breach of integrity

    Restart your system

Also to perform a clean boot and see if things improve:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

You should also check to see if you have installed any rogue programs:

Click Start, type: programs and features

    Press enter

See the list and uninstall programs, you are sure that you may not be installed.

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click on the link 'change product key '.

Enter the product key located on the COA sticker attached to the bottom of your laptop or in the battery compartment. Click next to activate via the Internet.

The product key on the label of the certificate of authenticity [CoA] is valid only for Windows 7 edition identified on the CoA label.

Thus, for example, if your CoA identifies the edition as Windows 7 Home Premium, then the only product key will work for Windows 7 Home Premium.

  • Get the popup to the activation of Windows 7 after new installation

I used my actual activation key after a new installation (not an upgrade) of W7 on full CD/DVD with sticker. It seemed to work but I keep getting harassed to activate because the key is supposed to be invalid. Experiment with the options I tried to "Buy a new key online." which took me to a site Web of MS page that CITES "because it is installed on your Windows PC is authentic", etc. Something is wrong, but what?

8 Note the confirmation ID the phone system gives you.

    9. under the terms of step 3, type the confirmation ID in the space provided, click Next, and then follow the instructions.

  • Activation of Windows 7 with linked clones

Hi all, I know that this has been discussed in previous posts, but I think I need some clarification. We use View 4.6 and I noticed that, in some cases (not all the time) when someone connects to your desktop of Windows 7 linked clone the message 'Windows is now activated' appears in the lower right. Other times I check and said BONE it will be self-activated in 3 days.

The main image has been activated using our key to activate Multiple (MAK), and we do not have a Service (KMS) key management server.

    According to this KB article http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1026556

We are encouraged to move to a system of authorisation KMS on the master server. Here are my questions...

    1. what happens if I do nothing and we run out of activations? Someone wouldn't have to be connected for 3 days for the timeout to occur? It seems to turn on only when someone connects (AFAIK). What is when to start the countdown 3?

    2. what happens if we change the option in the registry (AllowActivateMAKLicense) to activate QuickPrep activate using MAK? Everyone does, what are the advantages and disadvantages.

    3. what happens if I change the SkipLicenseActivation registry entry? It's basically what I'm doing now and let Windows activate itself when someone connects?

    4. If I should not pass master image to use a KMS how to do that? I wouldn't have to rebuild the image from scratch.

5 is there any difference between using the "Refresh" vs "Delete" option pool after disconnect in what concerns the way the OS license is activated? If I update will keep the activated license?

    Thank you

    Brian

Actually, we had a similar problem as you with our base images. We built the images with the MAK and after that, it was discovered the problem in doing so. You can also change the types of licenses in your images in database easily. Try this page for more information: How to use the Volume Activation Management Tool or tool VAMT | The Windows Club

This tool is very good in what it can tell you what type of licenses that you use MS product to you and you can use it to change the keys.

  • Restart the error for Windows Vista with the recovery disk

I bought a Toshiba Satellite A355D-S6889 about two years ago. It came with Windows Vista. I subscribed to Norton AntiVirus and it totally messed up the computer. We lived with a duration of 5 to 10 minutes from start-up. In addition, many programs crash and it takes a lot of time for anything to work. I decided to for a recovery and a restore using the disks provided with the laptop. I followed the instructions, but it keeps hanging up on the second disc.

I tried to use a method that I found searching for forums (restart the computer by pressing '0', but I got lost on the loading cycle.) I'm not very strong programming and I guess when a CD provided by the company must be used for recovery, it should work.  All my programs were legitimate, I want just my OS back so that I can use my computer.

    Help, please. Thank you.

  • The Activation of Windows 7 laptop: scrambled Serial Sticker.

    Hello.

I have a Samsung laptop with a Windows Home Premium (x 64) OS which I completely cleaned recently.
I used DBan to wipe the hard drive and when I went to activate Windows 7 again, I realized the sticker under the laptop that showed the Windows serial key is old and I am unable to read.
I still have the box that came with the laptop and I wonder if there is a way for me to find my serial key of Windows 7 with the information of the serial number on the box of the computer.

    Thank you.

    You must purchase a license.

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

    Full version (retail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    Upgrade version (detail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

-Expensive, but less expensive full version

    OEM System Builder version:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

There is nothing wrong to use it too, especially that all future versions of Windows will be full versions.

You can upgrade to Windows 10 instead which will be available in the next 10 days.

  • UTSCSI program in the folder C:\Windows\SysWOW64 with accompanied by the CLCV0 a service program used by Windows 7 64 bit?

I recently installed Windows 7 64 bit on new HD of Vista 32 bit on my HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop. I was watching the services running as I have had problems with IE 9 gel and crush several times when I have found the running game of CLCV0 service to autostart with no description of what it was or did. I googled find bad things about this service especially. So I'm looking a computer to find the associated program UTSCSI, who showed me that it is in the C:\Windows| SysWOW64 folder.
