• Recovery of files that don't appear on the trash after deletion

  I accidentally deleted my documents folder. I found the file to duplicate under the same user, so I deleted one. Now that I open the documents folder, I see that all my files went on the other also. I checked on the trash can, but there is no where. I use windows vista Home premium.  I would like to know if there is another way to recover lost data. Frequently occur when you delete files that they do not appear in the Recycle Bin?

  Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  You can check the settings of the trash to see if you have an option is selected.
  On the desktop, right-click on the Recycle Bin, and then click Properties.
  Click the general tab,
  Check to see if "do not move files to the Recycle Bin" is selected. If it is enabled, then your files
  will be permanently deleted when deleting.

  Otherwise, you can try to see if a system restore will retrieve your documents folder.
  Follow the article below for the steps to restore the system.

  You can also create a manual system restore point so that you can restore to that State in case of problems.
  Right-click on the computer icon in the desktop, then choose Properties
  In the left pane, click System Protection
  Alternatively, to directly access the System Protection tab, click Start and type SystemPropertiesProtection.exe.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  Click the System Protection tab and then click on create.
  In the System Protection dialog box, type a description, and then click on create.

• Automator lack of place in the trash after import option

  I will put in place action folder to import photos from a dropbox folder in the Photos app ideally I'd like to make these photos to be moved to the trash after importation, but the box which doesn't seem to be an option more. Is there a solution to this problem?  I am running El Capitan 10.11.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

• After putting the profile folder in the trash and delete, I reinstall Firefox and get the 'missing or inaccessible profile' and cannot use firefox.

  I started having the "it's embarrassing, impossible to find the website of your last" whenever I started Firefox. This happens even my preferences always says go to the home page. I deleted the folder of Firefox and re-installed application part. It did not work. Then, I deleted the folder 'profile' for firefox and then emptied the trash, so I can't get it back.
  Now when I try to reinstall Firefox, I can't access the new installation of Firefox because I always 'no profile folder exists or is inaccessible.

  If you return to the location of your previous profile folder (I hope that you back up your bookmarks at least?) and navigate to a level to the Firefox folder, you can find a text file called profiles.ini which always points to the folder that is now gone. To help Firefox to forget the old profile, you can try to rename or delete this file and restart Firefox. Does it work?

  Also, I read in another thread that the error you received is caused by a bug where you exit Firefox, when there is no more open pages. The solution is to quit smoking at least a page open.

• mail does not remove the trash after 30 days selected in the preferences. Why?

  I selected emails in the trash in mail should be deleted after 30 days.  Messages in the trash are not deleted.  It started recently, after the upgrade to El Capitan.  Can someone help me?

  Same problem here. The e-mail rule--> accounts--> Expunge deleted e-mails after one day. week | month becomes active. I installed Spamsieve, but should not intervene. Someone suggested to delete the respective Mail.plists, but there is nothing else than com.apple.mail - shared.plist in ~/Library/preferences.

• Several records 'Office' appear and reappear in the Menu after deleting!

  In Windows Vista Explorer, several "Desktop" folders and subfolders are created in the owners user directory or a folder of Documents, up to 4 or 5, with some, but not all the desktop icons in the last created.  Delete all 'Desktop' folders or subfolders and emptying trash said train all the desktop icons, but the trash icon in the process of disappearance.  After reboot, the same situation occurs with some of the icons, and 4/5 records 'Office' back in the Users directory.

• Where will the pictures after deleting an album

  I'm unable to locate the photos after out them of a photo album. I just upgraded from Iphoto9 where I was able to create new albums.

  All images and videos are in the photo library. All of the photo album is another way to look at this library.

  When you create albums, they only contain "pointers" images in the library of Photos, not duplicates. So, if you delete an image from an album, you simply remove the pointer. The original photo in the library is not affected in any way.

  Right-click on the trash
  Click on properties
  Customize the amount of disk space you want to return, the more space that you allocate files more trash will be able to follow.

• How can I sort the trash by deleted Date?

  When you click on the search bar, a list will appear as "modification date:" but if it means "Sort by date deleted" it has not worked.  The photos that I had just deleted do not show upward.   "Organize" does not seem to be a way to organize by date deleted either. Clearly, Miss me something important, because it appears that the most likely use of the trash is to recover from the Oops! having just deleted something accidentally.

  Put in details.  If the deleted Date does not already appear, then right-click on the line where you see the original location, name, etc and check the deleted Date.

• Since the last update to 9.1.2 email in my iPad 2 opens to empty the screen saying no messages selected, click the mailbox and select I bow to make appear messages. When the Inbox picks up the trash icon disappears also. How can I solve this problem?

  Since the 9.1 on my Ipad 2 update my email opens empty screen saying "no message selected. Just click on the mailbox store and select Inbox to display messages.  In addition, when appears in the Inbox, trash icon at the top right disappears.  Update to 9.2.1 thought to solve this, but it didn't.  Have tried reset etc but nothing works.  Anyone have any ideas?

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

• SX80 do not pick up the IP after reboot

  After reboot SX80 codec on two of our meeting rooms, no IP address is captured by the codec. There isn't any question on the side of network infrastructure and all ports are tested.

  Tests: Factory reset codec twice, twice the touchscreen. DHCP connection is somehow after the reset.

  Second room after many factory resets, no IP address has been picked up. Decided to downgrade firmware to TC 7.2, problem persisted. Allocated static IP to the codec (10.115.118.18) connection made, config pushed through, unit restarted for the objective test and not taken up static IP address. Proceed to another factory reset and added the static IP address and configured. Its form current Sx80 codecs on our site will not receive static or DHCP IP on restart of the codec. I understand that my question may be broad, but y at - it advice or suggestions, I can follow.

  PS I tried other codecs on those ports, all seem to be working like charm, it does seem that the codec SX80 being at fault.

  Is the value mode VLAN voice over, when you don't want it in your environment?  This is the problem of many of my clients have these days.  It uses by default on, and most are not even use their VLAN voice for the video.

  If you removed all the lines, committed this deletion and shrinking the WATERFALL AREA, I can't think of a reason why none of the segments must be as large as they are. If this is the case, it would look like a bug me - you have connected an SR in Metalink?

• Bluetooth headset | Impossible to re-pair the device after deletion

  I have 2 fields, one for my wife and myself. I've matched with success the pre of my wife with a stereo bluetooth headset Altec Lansing/Plantronics Backbeat (new) (model BBT903/R). Then I tried to pair it with my pre but it wouldn't recognize it. I have read the help file for Bluetooth on the meadow and realized that I had to remove the association with the front woman first. The help instructions supposed to remove the device to PRE Bluetooth screen name (device name of point culminating right drag, click on delete). I did it on Pre my wife. I then tried to pair with my pre but had the same problem - the machine is not found. Tried again on my wife before and now it not pair either!

  Now I'm stuck. The helmet is not recognized by a meadow. I tried to turn on/off BlueTooth. I tried to change the order in which I turned on devices (first helmet, second pre and vice versa). I tried the hard reset by removing the PRE battery and put it in. I would do the same for the helmet, but the battery is not removable/accessible.

  With the Plantronics / helmets Altec Lansing, you must press the button so that it flashes Red and blue (and alternates)... the flashing blue means it's looking for a connection to a device with which it is already associated. Hope that helps.

• iMac is not deleting the photos after deleting other appliances?

  I've recently upgraded to the 50 GB iCloud account and use it with my iPhone, the iPad, the MBP and iMac. So far when I remove a photo of one of the devices he removes other except my iMac. I have a lot of old photos on my iMac which are no longer in my other devices.

  I just checked and I have not iCloud library checked in option on the iMac and I just activated it.

  1. is there a way to CRT based on what I've done with other devices?

  2. a box of the photo library of iCloud not checked probably the problem?
