  Yesterday, I upgraded to the last 2015.2 CC in Lightroom. The import Panel has changed a bit. But what worries me is that I can't find any where in the Panel to import for "eject card after import. And not the case in the preferences. I looked everywhere in this Panel.

  I use a Mac Pro OS X 10.10.5

  Can someone help me or explain what happened?

• Dialog import Lightroom CC no way to eject the disk after import?

  The new Lightroom screen that appears when I connect my computer with a flash card is confusing and overwhelming her aggressively. I can get used to it but first need to know how to control. I just want to see the flash memory card, I just plugged and not any possible place to get photos that I really want to see.   When organizing photos for Photos for Mac app, I find that the Photos makes "copies" of files within the library of Photos and must reference a file if your settings are such that you do not copy the original files in the Photos app.

  The delete after import is available only when you import a device - a camera, card, an iPhone, but not when you import files from a folder on the system drive.

  You can delete the local image files of your system drive yourself, once you have imported the Photos and they were copied in the photo library.

  I would never use the option "delete after Import. The files will be deleted until you can check if the files have been imported correctly. If you find out later, that some of the imported files are corupted and illegible, it will be repeated o toolate import, because the files have been deleted from the device. Or worse, if pictures should plant a reason any during the import, all the pictures will be lost, if you have enabled "delete after import.

  I opened the Photos App and imported my photos. It helps to have an option to remove photos from my phone once they have been imported. What happened to this option? Is there a way to remove photos from my iPhone after importation?

• mail does not remove the trash after 30 days selected in the preferences. Why?

  I selected emails in the trash in mail should be deleted after 30 days.  Messages in the trash are not deleted.  It started recently, after the upgrade to El Capitan.  Can someone help me?

  Same problem here. The e-mail rule--> accounts--> Expunge deleted e-mails after one day. week | month becomes active. I installed Spamsieve, but should not intervene. Someone suggested to delete the respective Mail.plists, but there is nothing else than com.apple.mail - shared.plist in ~/Library/preferences.

• Recovery of files that don't appear on the trash after deletion

  I accidentally deleted my documents folder. I found the file to duplicate under the same user, so I deleted one. Now that I open the documents folder, I see that all my files went on the other also. I checked on the trash can, but there is no where. I use windows vista Home premium.  I would like to know if there is another way to recover lost data. Frequently occur when you delete files that they do not appear in the Recycle Bin?

  You can check the settings of the trash to see if you have an option is selected.
  On the desktop, right-click on the Recycle Bin, and then click Properties.
  Click the general tab,
  Check to see if "do not move files to the Recycle Bin" is selected. If it is enabled, then your files
  will be permanently deleted when deleting.

  Otherwise, you can try to see if a system restore will retrieve your documents folder.

  You can also create a manual system restore point so that you can restore to that State in case of problems.

• Remove photos from the iphone after import

  Hi, I'm new on this but I can't find an answer by reading the previous posts.

  I always was able to import my photos and click the button "erase after importing" and my photos would be removed from my phone, but recently it tells me there is an error during this operation and the pictures are still on my phone using a lot of memory. Anyone know why this feature no longer works? I'm really not what although it is complicated with my pc, everything is usually automatically when I plug in my phone. Can someone give advice?

  You have iCloud library enabled on the iPhone? (in settings > iCloud > Photos & camera)?

  So you can't delete photos from the iPhone, because they are actually stored in iCloud and only in reverse on the iPhone.

  Disable the iCloud photo library, if you want to download the pictures manually by USB.  But be sure, that optimize storage is disabled and all the pictures were downloaded again icloud before disabling iCloud photo library.

  Seems that you can call to the properties of an imported file may include the ClippingPathSetting preferences. It is the object of great CS5 Jongware model.

  

• There is no bookmark for the backup or import options

  I just installed Firefox 8.0 and tried to import my old bookmarks (.json) file. I am familiar with the way to do it (no need to explain it). What happens is that when I open Bookmarks-> show all bookmarks, window has no buttons to import/backup at all. I'm missing here something?   Carefully, I tried to follow the instructions to import IE Favorites, as it appears in Firefox "Help". The choice of 'import' is simply not available under 'File', as it is supposed to be.

  It is indeed a common place of what to get. Rarely these whitespace contravene semantic aspects of xml, but it's annoying to the human eye. The OutputKeys.INDENT on the transformer fixing certainly wouldn't heal and makes it worse.

  If the lack of alignment gets enough wide, sometimes I use a custom xsl file to put an order of it. This is how the xsl looks like: it is just a slight development of an identity transformation. And I assume you are using jdk1.5 + packaged xerces and xalan.

  Suppose to be called indenter.xsl, and put themselves in the working directory. Printing to a file may seem just that.

  Transformer t = tf.newTransformer(new StreamSource("indenter.xsl"));
  //suppose the doc is the document parsed and edited in the memory, and outfile is the path to output file

  I use xalan namespace to control the amount of space to indent. If you don't use of xalan, just leave these namespace declaration and the xalan:indent - amounted to and let the xsl processor using its default value.

  If you prefer instead of writing your own small xsl utilities, you can maybe google (mainly in using key as pretty print or a utility called htmltidy with w3c) to clean the misaligned output. Or check the documentation on the xsl processor used, some processor could have custom method to do the same.

  But cleaning may still run the risk of too interpret what can hold and is not. It is important to know what you finally want what to do and adjust according to your need.
