• Is it possible to add multiple contours on the same layer?

  Hello! I am trying to add a stroke to text or objects through the style fx, so I want to add more contours. Would be nice if you could just add a new line as in illustrator. I don't want to copy the layer and just do a wider edge behind it, the fact is that it is all on the same layer... I was wondering if this is possible. Thank you!

• error on line of contour of the multiple paths?

  don't know why I get this error message, I used pathfinder palette/plan to cut these intertwined paths, then on average the middle points to overlap, then added a de.2 to all paths, then selected all the traits using the object/access/plan STROKE path. It works if I select one at a time to do it, if I select all the features to apply the 'contour coup' I get this error...

• Pipette by selecting the color of the contour not under layer

  I try to do a net of gradient on an Apple.  I'm stuck when filling out the mesh with the eyedropper tool.

  What I do is use the direct Selection tool, then click an anchor point and then click the eyedropper on the anchor point what happens is the the color of the outline is selected. Then I found Illustrator CS6 you must hold SHIFT key while clicking the eyedropper.  I tried and still not get the color of the layer, the fill color remains white?  Here is the picture:

  

  As you can see in the browser window, the shade of Red is that of the sketch and not the Apple under the edge.  I tried shift + pipette and white is the only color of the GET sampled.  What I am doing wrong?

  I agree with GlennS_3 that the hourglass model is old.  It has been even longer than version 5.  It was recommended by Arbor before Hyperion enter the picture.

  The hourglass design was based on the use of the Calc cache hash table.  The last Sun called dim anchor.  If you can adapt all other than the low anchor rare dims, you can use it to identify the blocks that had to be recalculated.  It makes a huge difference in calc times if you could get a cache hash table several bits calc.  Therefore, making the largest size of the last dimension would decrease the size required for the hash table.

  However, the calc engine overhaul from version 4 to version 5, greatly reduces the need for it.  The addition of parallel threads in calc scripts led to a larger dimension order.

  Put the dimensions not last concentration.  The parallel threads will run against the last sparse dimension (or dimensions if you assign multiple), so if you have years or versions and scenarios that should not be added together, it's a good size for the calculation in parallel using nets.  Put first Dense, account, then time, then largest to smallest.  This is not critical, but it provides an advantage with the order of operations in two calculations of pass.  He ready also to sort of benefits during the optimization of data loading and playback of exports.  Finally, put the library size stored in order from the largest to the smallest.  This provides better performance the computation of sparse multidimensional because it reduces the total number of blocks of pavement.

  I think I would try to restore on your first InDesign preferences. I doubt that the operating system has a lot to do with it. Except for the problem of alignment when using multiple screens, I don't have not seen a lot of problems related to the OS.

  I have a weird problems with my beloved illustrator. Eyedropper and color chart assigning seems to be wild... I'll try to describe three situations: this is happening. Tell me Please, what I'm doing wrong... .

  1. group of forms in a black fill color for example.

  -J' I ggroup of black, forms complex logo pmaybe. They are literally grouped.

  -I want to change their fill in white color.

  -Selects the grup with black and white arrow, choose swatches.

  - Nothing happens.

  -J' I ungroup shapes, then select them with the black arrow and then I can change the color.

  2 group Forms in several background colors: black, yellow and white for example.

  -J’ai several grouped in forms different colors.

  -I want to change all their fill in white colors.

  -Select the grup with black arrow.

  -Illustrator should show "?" in the part of background/outline of the tools Panel, because there are selected of the forms with of different colors. But IAther I see completely different set of contour and the background color. Probably those I used in some before the action.

  In all cases I use color chart or pipette to take the color of shape- the same result s. It's crazy... Don't know what to do. And the worst thing is I have the same problems at work, where I use Mac, and at home, where I use Windows.

  Your text object has a color of additional fill applied through the appearance Panel.

  Trash as the extra fill via the appearance panel color. Then try the pipette.

• How color you a shot with the pipette?

  It's aggravating: I have a selected path and a contour pen is specified (black, 6 pt).  I want to change the line color using the Eyedropper to select a color also, so I select the stroke color in the toolbar, then select the eyedropper and click on the color I want.

  The stroke inexplicably disappears completely (pen stroke set to none), and the line width is eliminated.

  At least 10, when you use the pipette like that, unless you click a shade or want to the weight of the race and possible Fill also copied, you will need to press Shift.

  There may be something wrong with preferences; You can try to move the folder or just press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easier but irreversible).

  If it's the same color as the background, why do you want an overview? Add an offset path effect. In this way it is also possible to apply it to multiple objects.

  It seems Photoshop eyedropper or CMS has a problem. I've attached an example of .psd file so that anyone can reproduce the error.

  
  

  Simply open and switch layer1 to the linear density screen blending mode. You will notice that therefore gray pixels will get visually a bit brighter, but the pipette will show RGB = (38,38,38) in both cases! (you can measure anywhere in the center of the image, for example the pixel (X = 51, Y = 35), which is the point where I measured for the screenshots below).

  The point is: any pixel identified by Photoshop RGB = (38,38,38) should look the same, not sometimes brilliant and sometimes darker.

  
  

  If you don't trust your eyes (which can fall pray to an optical illusion), just open my screenshots in any application with a pipette (even Windows Paint will do I guess) and compare the values of the gray area (make sure that the eyedropper sample size is 1 x 1 (sample point)). The values will differ.

  To ensure that additional measures, I also used a pipette utility screen named "ColorCop" which displays the actual values of RGB pixel of the screen at the current position of the cursor in real-time. The recorded values are obviously the same as can be recovered in the screenshots below, either = (42,42,42) for the screenshot 1 RGB and RGB = (43,43,43) for the screenshot 2.

  NOTE 1: The question is unrelated to any resulting possible rounding of blend modes errors and multiple layers. To prove this, you can flatten the image (menu: layer > > flatten image). Still the same problem.

  
  

  NOTE 2: For those of you familiar with color management, the actual values comes from your screenshots depending on the color profile associated with your monitor. This explains the differences between the RGB = (38,38,38) and the values in the screenshots (in my case 42,42,42 and 43,43,43). Your values will be obviously different. I also noticed that if you choose sRGB as your monitor profile, the error can be reproduced.

  always looks like a simple rounding error for me, when you look at to CMYK you get 71/65/64/70 for screen and 71/65/64/69 for linear density

• Number of the color changing when moving the pipette around the outline color or background

  When I move my pipette above and move around to a United of contour or background color in the tool bar, window properties and color mixer, I have different web color numbers. Why is this? Flash never used to do (I use Flash Professional 8.0) and of all rights should not (since the color is vector).

  All rights should not change the number of color, but it changes from B53110 to BD3110, now this may seem insignificant, but it can sometimes be really sensitive, and especially if I continue to use the eyedropper again and again to get the color once again.

  I have 2 monitors of mac, one has been updated with the "Studio Display 21" and the other to the 'Studio Display 21 calibrated' and for some reason that it is perform once chosen Flash color values

  I don't know if it is possible as a theme however keep a Keynote presentation with multiple slides pre-established appropriate can do what you want.

  If mark you as an element of Stationery Pad (via Get Info Finder), it should open as a copy so that you don't accidentally destroy your master.
