Pipette selects different color

As u see on the title.

I have imported a video file and set it to 96% opacity

Then created a solid layer top and pick it color with the color picker, but he takes this color when it 100% opacity. Thanks for the solution now.

It's normal. The standard color picker not to taste the alpha channel.

The work around is to put a solid black below the layer you want to sample including transparency is. Once you have taken the example, you can remove the solid black.

Another work around may be to use Effects > Generate > eyedropper fill but that the effect is a bit a strange duck. TI single pixel of samples on the layer it's on, but it can work for your project. I'm not sure because I don't know what you're trying to do. The solid black temporary below images is probably the easiest option.

  • My pipette selects wrong colors on display HiDPI

    Hello

I have Flash CC 2004 on my laptop Dell M3800 with HiDPI display and I have some problems with my dropper-color picker (also in previous versions of Flash Proffesional CS6, CC).

It works fine when I'm actually choose the eyedropper tool in the bar of tools, but when I run it by selecting the switch foreground color or background it does not work properly.

The selector simply selects a different color than the color it points to (below).

In fact, the color he chooses is in another area of the scene.

I think it has something to do with the HiDPI.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Hi Aviv,

Thanks for the video. The problem is reproducible on peripheral HiDPI. It is to be followed and studied internally. Any update on this is forwarded accordingly. Thank you for reporting this!

  • Allow the pipette "Select a Color" select the image.

For example: you want to improve the blue sky... it takes several attempts to get a blue natural oxygen in the area of the Rainbow.  To select this direct color image would give faster and more accurate results.

    Function already exists.

Open the color of the adjustment brush palette, click any where on the palette while holding down the Alt/Option key, now while still hold the Alt/Option key move the Eyedropper to the image and click on the place you want to go experience.

I want the text to be entirely this color blue, but for some reason, there is a red outline. Anyone can shed light on what is happening?

  • CS5 loss of option of the pipette in the color selection menu?

    CS5 running on a MacPro 10.6.8

A few days ago I suddenly can't find the Eyedropper to select a color, either in the functions of type or color.  When I click on the colored boxes, it now opens the menu of color with the usual sliders, the crayons, the specturms, etc., but no pipette.

I know I'm old and set in my ways, but is there an explanation for this change suddenly?

    Thanks for any help.

Probably, you have changed the color picker in Photoshop preferences and getting the OS selector limited instead of the Photoshop color picker.

Yesterday I updated to Firefox 7.0.1 and now my sites recently seen show is no longer in a different color after the display of a Web site and return to the initial list of Web sites. I still want to see which ones I've looked at the research. Can you tell me how to recover this feature again?

If you talk about the differences in color between visited and not visited in the links on your Web pages as that would be affected by what follows:

    1. change the link colors in your tools > Options > content > fonts and colors: 'Advanced' for which I have blue for Unvisited and magenta for unvisited links. I have all three elements selected "use system colors:," underline links: and 'Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above'. "
    2. Data loss in history, such as deleting your browsing history
    3. Private browsing ("Ctrl + Shift + P") will mark all as visited links, even apply to the permanent Private Browsing ("always use private browsing mode") in tools > Options > privacy

I let him out on the following link and added it, but given what precedes has answered the question, I'm changing that last part a page footnote.

Which none would be directly related to the update of Firefox, but in these times where the file localstore.rdf in profile you may be affected (corrupted), and the changes made to your toolbars and options will not stick.

  • Part of the wave in different colors

    Hello world

Hope everyone is doing well. I have a little problem, I detect the valleies and the crests of the waves, I want the portion which is top or Valley to be in a different color so that the user can clearly see them.

I use waveform graph. I enclose a photo, in that I circled the part I want to be a different color.

    can anyone help?

    RGS

    Omar

The answer has been given above.  Here he photo and VI form (version 8.6.1), alternately colored cycles of a sinusoid.

This method has the disadvantage of requiring a full set of data for each color you want to trace.  Alternatively, you can break your waveform in different pieces and ground to them as separate parcels, making sure that you set the timestamps correctly.  To do this, you will need to set the chart so that it uses the timestamps.  Click with the right button on the plot of the graph area and uncheck Ignore Time Stamp.  This will put your x-axis in times of formatting.  Click with the right button on the x axis, and then select formatting....  Choose the desired formatting, and you should be good.

  • How to have different color profiles on screens cloned with color management

    Hello

I have calibrated two monitors (in fact, one is a standard monitor and the other is a projector that is connected to my computer) using the third-party program. I'm so done with ICC profiles two different, one for my monitor and the other for my image to the projector.

These two are connected to a card double head (Quadro 4000).

I am able to use my two different color ICC profiles with an extented of office using the color management settings in Win7 without problem. I can't disable them without problem also.

But I can't do it with a clone view (dual display). Even if I am able to select two different profiles for each of them in windows color management settings. Alone can apply for each of them. In fact, when I'm in an office clone, even when I tried to deactivate the profile of each color, nothing changed. Color management doesn't seem to update more as soon as I'm in a clone desktop mode.

Anyone know if there is a way to apply TWO different colors on monitors CLONED profiles? In my case, I can not use extended desktop and I really need to apply the calibration profile two different.

    Thank you very much!

  • Manufacture of bottled milk look a different color

    Hello

I want to make the milk in the bottle look a different color, ideally so that it looks more like a red juice. How can I change the color and always have realistic? Is the way to make it clearer and more juice as once the color is changed in order to reduce the opacity?

    Thank you!

    milk_carafe.jpg

A way to accomplish a change of color would be to:

    1. Select the part milk and the bottom of the bottle which is influenced by its color.

2 layer - new adjustment layer - curves.  This will give you a curves with a mask layer.

    3. slide down the curves of specific colors darken (e.g., green and blue).

I suggest that trying to make translucent look can be more difficult and may require some tinkering where you paint or Lighten/Darken some parts to allude to translucency.  Probably I photograph a glass of juice and a critical eye for the Visual cues that give it the look you want.

  • Need help in selecting the color in the image and use it in other images.

I have about 10 photos of a drawing/character but the color is not consistent. How to select a color in the first drawing and then use that same color in all the

drawings so that he is there not differences in images?

On one of the drawings, use the eyedropper tool.

You can select the color of different sample sizes, 1-pixel average of 101 x 101.

And then double-click the color in the Color Palette and add it to your color chart.

    Name your new shade.

    Voila.

  • How can I "attached to tab" summits on an empty right triangle with 3 sides of a different color?

Hello. Novice HERE. I want to create a right triangle (just three sides, no fill) where each side is a different color (red, blue and green, say). For generality, assume that it is a scalene triangle (rather than isosceles). I want the weight of each line to be about 3 PT (but I guess that's not a crucial number. Let's say that the I want the sides to 20 or 30 thick pts, for the fun of it.) I know how to draw three lines of specified width, make different colors and arrange them in a triangle. My problem is how the vertices (corners) look at attached miter instead of have them overlap, which obviously has terrible air and as something of an infant caught in Microsoft Paint. ;-) If I join the 3 trails in a single form, they are all getting the same color, so I think I should keep as 3 separate lines (paths). The only solution I can think is: rather than draw three lines of weight 3pt, draw three extremely thin rectangle shapes (about 3pt wide), one of each color and do rotate/position them so that they form the sides of a triangle. Then go and do a Visual surgery on the tops to make summits attached miter. Is there an easier or more automated way to reach my goal? Is the answer right under my nose? Thanks in advance!

    1. with the pen tool draw the right scalene triangle.

    2. choose the desired race weight, no fill.

    3 object > Expand stroke.

    4. with the scissors tool, click on all six anchor points.

    5 object > ungroup (CMD/CTRL + SHIFT + G), object > Compound Path > release (CMD/CTRL + OPT / ALT + SHIFT + 8)

    6. Select the pair of line for a leg segment, object > path > join (CMD/CTRL + J) twice; Repeat for the other leg and the hypotenuse.

    7. fill each path with the desired color.

  • How to describe the text in a different color?

How to describe the text in a different color?

No need to simplify the layer - which causes the text that becomes uneditable as text.

With the layer selected text, use the layer... Layer style... Style settings to open the settings of a dialog box for the text layer where you can select "Stroke" and choose your options for size, color, etc.
